a 5 second jolt brings most people to the floor due to the automatic muscle relaxation that happens after the tase ends. it takes some serious concentration to keep from being floored. not to mention a high tolerance to pain. years ago, i had a military friend hit me with a 5 second jolt. even knowing about needing to concentrate on standing, i still ended up on my hands and knees.
