Vogel was great, one of the best defensive coaches in NBA history, ham though.. an absolute piece of trash. I blame ROB for everything. If we kept Vogel and a roster that fits his system then we have another chip, maybe two. Vogel is a little old school but doesn't let that get in the way of the offense because he stays out of it, he even let LeBron and Rondo run it. But with Ham.. I 100000000% agree with you. JJ has found a way to gamify defense. He has the bugs vs the guards 1v1 and these dudes play hard as they are competitors. Making defense a contest…JJ’s brilliant. He even got out there himself. Love to see it!
Perfect storm where last year he got tons of individual work work Phil Handy but no scheme work cause darvin, now this year he is getting the scheme work he needed and being put in position with knowledge to succeed after having all last year to hone his individual skills. Should be his best year yet as a pro (winning basketball, maybe not boxscore)
That boy has SO much potential. Crazy excited for this year. He's pretty good and dominant normally, but if he unlocks that fuck you attitude he's gonna be a monster. There's more power in that frame than we've seen.

Rui is bigger and stronger than Draymond Green. I do wish Rui plays a more Samurai Rui role. Stops smiling, becomes fierce looking, behaves physical and mean and a rebound/defense monster. With that one change and Vando plus Koloko back the Lakers could become close to perfect.
Kssler had 5 blocks the other night, had 14 boards & missed 1 shot for 14pts. Can we PLEASE empower Davis FULLY and trade for a BIG BIG. Davis can affect EVERYWHERE on the floor when hes not the only anchor. LBJ/Rui/AD, LBJ/Wood/AD is also good. BIGGER IS BETTER. Trade D Lo for Sexton. Attack the rim. Trade the picks Rob. 🙀🙀🙀
