Even if Netanyahu sucked up to Biden, its only because he won the Presidency, not because he actually liked Biden. Netanyahu would much rather prefer Trump Also, Trump just recently appointed people such as Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, Elise Stefanik as Ambassador to the UN, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense and these people are vehemently and extremely pro Israel because of religion and more.
But they don't make the decisions and he is appointing gabbard who is pro Assad. The destruction of Gaza and Palestine is unfolding right before our eyes and Trump is ready to sign the deal where Israel does to palestine what Hamas said they would do to Israel!
I don’t know about claiming that trump no longer has a great personal relationship. Didn’t Trump host Netanyahu at his Florida home after his speech at congress a few months ago in July?
Theres a really hilarious years long joke with this channel that whatever they predict as likely, the opposite ends up happening. Its been a long trend.
1:48 It's insane to me that a president that still sent a tone of weapons and constantly said "israel has the right to defend itself" while israel bombed gaza to the point of setting it back 50+ years is apparently "too critical of israel".
That's understandable considering the way things are framed. Some context you (and about 99% of people with an opinion) might need: This is not the first but the third Gaza War in 15 years (08 and 14). All started under similar circumstances with a kidnapping or attack by Hamas. In each of the previous two, the international community pressured Israel to stop after a few hundred casualties. Hamas used the time to entrench and tunnel under civilians. Parallel situation happened in Lebanon in 2006 when Israel was pressured to let up on Hezbollah under a UN ceasefire resolution. (In both cases it must be said, the UN was responsible for keeping the peace, and they let Hamas and Hezbollah do whatever they wanted including completely militarized the territory they were supposed to be watchdogging - significant because those are the same people who are now demanding Israel to stop ). Israel believes that as long as these armies (That is the right word) are amassed at the border and firing rockets at a more or less regular rate (as they did before the war), they're not secure. And looking at history, they're not wrong. However, you can also argue that other sovereign states live with militaries at their border -- China and India for example I'm sure have some artillery pointed at each other but nobody would condone an invasion. The difference is, as I see it, lies in the fact that Hamas and Hezbollah are NON-STATE actors. They can't effectively be sanctioned, or threatened, or voted out. It makes them a little bit like a termite infestation, or cancer: the longer they are permitted to live and attack, the more damage they will do to the host (whether the host is Israel, or their host country, or the Middle East, or global trade... True in every case). So somebody has to go in and exterminate them. Pretty much every global leader shares this view. Many will say something different, in order to placate their base, especially if it is very liberal or has a significant Muslim component, but nobody is acting to stop Israel, and I don't think it's because of power dynamics (many countries threatened and enacted embargos and boycotts in '08 and 14), It's because their perception of the conflict of changed. The common thread is, Iran is funding not only Hamas and Hezbollah, but the Houthis in Yemen, pro Assad forces in Syria, and Shiite militias in Iraq in every case, they fund armed groups who oppose the elected government and deliberately put civilians in harm's way -- almost a million Arab Muslims have died in the last 15 years as a result of Iran's actions. It's hard to observe because silence is hard to observe, but the Sunni Arab countries, who used to be Israel's most committed enemies, far from doing anything to stop Israel, don't even speak out, and some countries like Saudi Arabia and Tunisia have banned Palestinian symbols like the keffiyah -- That's how far the pendulum has swung in the other direction. For better or for worse, for right or for wrong, the only people who really support Hamas at this point are Iran, Qatar (who are sunni but resentful of Saudi Arabia's power and invested heavily in a media empire including Al Jazeera which spreads disinformation in Arabic while posing as a humanitarian in English), and Western liberals. That's the geopolitical context. That doesn't change the fact that Palestinian civilians are suffering, but by the numbers, not as much as you think. I'm sure it's far from comfortable, but Israel is feeding and sheltering about a million Palestinians in the humanitarian zone on massai Beach; The reported death rate (which can safely assume to be overcounted considering it's Hamas doing the counting) is only about a thousand / month, which is the same as the natural death rate in Gaza. The "impending famine" has not arrived for a year, because Israel has trucked in nearly a million tons of food. The death toll itself seem high, but you have to remember to account for about 20K Hamas deaths, 10K reported to be unconfirmed on May 16th, and the natural death rate in Gaza accounting for a further 12K. The dovetails with Israel's known practice of warning before strikes. In general I would either commit to a broad fact-based research project, or a strategic ambiguity where matters of Israel are concerned. Almost everybody who reports on it is biased in some way, unfortunately it is a lightning rod for emotional people and extremists of all stripes, able to get attention in a way unconnected to its importance. For example the premise of this video is that Netanyahu is not popular, but if the OP had simply looked at September polling, he would know that Netanyahu and his party are the most popular in Israel right now. It's unthinkable that people would publish such an obviously backwards analysis about Liberia or Korea. I don't know why this is normalized with Israel.
You should also consider that most of Gaza was shitty construction to begin with. The economic harm Will be easily outweighed by the economic gain from reconstruction. That sounds cruel that you are talking in state development terms, so that's your state development answer.
@@asaadddfa Why did you print out an IDF press release? No serious person believes any of the bs you just spewed. You probably also don't even believe half of it.
These aren't mutually exclusive. Take for example the Biden administrations criticism of the Jews going into Rafah. It turned out the Jews were right all along, that's where Sinwar was operating out of. They were able to go in and dismantle a massive part of Hamas's network take out the boss and gain intel on more of Hamas's structure in the process. Their intel was legitimate, it's likely that the US itself was aware of this Intel, it's possible they even supplied some of it. So what was the point of criticizing the operation? The answer is score political points. The Administration wanted to win over some anti-Israeli voters in the US so they flung shit at the wall made completely pointless criticisms and ended up looking like fools in the process. This sort of blind criticism was then exposed for the nonsense it was as the administration then tried latch on to the Jews success and claim they supported it all along (destroying whatever minuscule amount of support they gained from Terror simps). If they had simply taken a step back and thought things through to begin with instead of trying to show they were "standing up" Israel they could have saved themselves a lot of embarrassment.
TLDR team need to understand israel better (there is no Israeli left now, not after 7th October - islamists do not want two states). And, Trump is popular as the Liberal World has become myopic on woke relativism
I offered a direct quote from Mike Huckabee, Trumps newly appointed ambassador to Israel which contradicts the title of this program but the authors can't bear the truth.
Trump pulled out of Syria and enacted the Doha Agreement with the Taliban, despite putting 2 Hawks, John Bolton as United Nations Security Advisor and Mike Pompeo as the Head of the CIA. His strategy is to adopt a mix of both sides.
Well that depends on what the 'sort out' does. If trump gets a palestinian state recognised the democrats might not win another election for 30 years. If he 'solves' it by letting israel annex the west bank and essentially making a palestinian state impossible, they will not be happy. The problem is the democrats cant offer them anything better because the Democratic party is a shambles
Yea it's funny that you actually believe this when Marco Rubio explicitly said he will not call for a ceasefire and Mike Huckabee, his ambassador to Israel has said that there is “no such thing as a Palestinian.” The delusion is off the charts, pay attention to what is happening.
It is weird that you did not mention that Miriam Adelson donated $100M to Trump’s campaign. I think this is going to be a BIG factor in his lsraeI policy.
But she is one person and plenty of rich donors from others some who are antisemitic. Jews internalize and fall for the antisemitic propaganda that they have money and power they don't have.
Trump is like a magic mirror in which people see whatever they want. All Trump cares about is his own power and ego; if he thinks your cause will increase either he will support it, and if he doesn't he won't. There's no point debating whether he really believes x or y, all that matters is he decided those were the path to (staying in) power.
Regarding the segregation of the west bank. To reference that human rights organisations merely said it was "unfair" to Palestinians, must be a joke from yourselves. I think many would have and still do, classified it as, illegal and immoral. It's like you are just trying to PG the content to down play it. The fact that you have to say yourself that the international community "perceived it as" implies you didn't even find an example of someone just calling it unfair and you have made that conclusion yourself. Imagine saying, some people think it's unfair that Russia is at war with Ukraine. It's a nothing sentence and you know it. Edit You title the video "why trump might not be as pro Israel as you think" Then state half a dozen things he has done pro Israel and practically the only thing that goes against the pro belief is that Bibi congratulated Biden. How on earth have you come to any conclusion that doubts the US's established bi-partisan support for Israel?
Strange to say Israel would keep fighting due to Netanyahu trying to stay in power and not mention their stated reason of breaking Hamas' hold on the strip.

One, way to massively oversimplify a complex series of issues. Two, I wasn't aware that homophobia carried the death penalty. 4:20 In order to have a new election, the current parliament would have to vote no confidence. This would require more than one party to leave. Only two parties arguably stand to gain more seats in a new election and neither of them is opposed to wrapping up the war. Current polls show that in case of elections, neither the current coalition nor the current opposition have enough seats to form a government. He may not last the full two years left, but nothing has come up to force him out yet.
Israelis also have election fatigue after the April 2019, September 2019, March 2020, March 2021 and November 2022 elections, all but one of those leading to an unstable Netanyahu government. The only exception leading to an unstable Bennett and then Lapid led government. The likelihood Israelis would subject themselves to this during a high stakes war is even slimmer.

@sn3akyy1_ Bro, in case you didn't know, there are Muslims who live in Israel as citizens, and we get exactly the same rights as the Jews, why shouldn't I love my country?
Well what does it tell you that Bibi would not accept peace even on all of his own terms? It means he benefits greatly from the conflict. This is why there will never be peace in Israel. Between arms, real estate, bribery, kidnapping, and extortion, the conflict is simply too lucrative for too many people to ever reach a peace consensus.
Mike Huckabee is not wrong. Palestinian nationalism was only invented in 1964. Before that everyone, including the Palestinians themselves, referred to them as “Arabs”. If Israel lost the 1948 war, the land would just have been split between Egypt and Jordan and the people there would have called themselves Egyptians or Jordanians.
According to genetic experts Palestinians have lived continuously in Palestine for at least 3,700 years, a heck of a long time before any Arab people showed up in the area and a heck of a long time before 1948. I'm guessing that people who have lived in a place for 4 millenia know who they are.
@@geofflepper3207 I’m not claiming that the place was uninhabited. But the first time anyone referred to a “Palestinian” as someone from a distinct nationality was 1964. That “3700 years” is also false btw. The Arabs arrived in the 7th century during the muslim conquest. 3700 years ago it was probably a combination of Jews, ancient Egyptians (not the same as modern Egyptians), Babylonians and Assyrians.
Being Pro Israeli is good for any country. Jews are very intelligent and put a lot of passion in helping others. America is today America because of jews. Highlighting negative things always and/or presenting the data in such a way as to give you a negative impression or a wrong idea, that is not neutrally reporting, that is biased reporting.
"anti-Trump"? If anything, this video is GLAZING him for no fucking reason, trying to sanewash his policies to look more moderate than they actually are. "wHy hE mIGhT bE mOrE pRo-UkrAinE tHaN yOu mIgHt tHiNK" or "wHy hE mIgHt bE lEsS prO-iSrAeL tHaN yOu MiGht THInK" are both bullshit videos, trying to present Trump more favourable to Muslims and Ukraine supporters. So you're right, this isn't neutral reporting, this is biased reporting - bias that's IN FAVOUR of Trump.
I feel like this presumes that Donald will hold on to a potential slight, when Netanyahu can just start flattering him again and probably get back in his good graces? Like, do we know if Trump holds on to grudges if there's fresh profit to be made? And even if he does, did he even have a grudge in the first place?
As an Israeli, I recognize that there are varied perspectives on Bibi’s leadership. While I believe he has led us into one of the most severe crises since the Holocaust and could be seen as a war criminal, I’m not stating this to take a definitive stance on whether is actions are good or bad. My point is that different viewpoints exist, and yet your reporting consistently opts for those that depict Israel and Bibi as the primary villains. For example, Trump’s conflict with Bibi arose from Bibi’s refusal to back Trump’s election fraud claims, and the failure of the deal was due to the Palestinians’ unwillingness to negotiate with Kushner. Although the deal was pro-Israel, its purpose was to push the Palestinians toward negotiations to improve their situation under the pressure of a potential unilateral resolution.
Why are you so hesitant to say genocide is bad? I understand that political leaders can't be blamed for others' failures, but Bibi's government is overseeing the murder of children by drone. Maccabi Tel Aviv fans ran roughshod through Amsterdam targeting Arab citizens and jeering during a vigil for Spanish flood victims. Your government and those they enable are villains of this story. So is Trump. So is Hamas. It's not rocket science.
Bibi is objectively bad. Bad for Israel and bad for the world. I don’t believe that Israel as a nation is evil or that Israelis are evil, but Netenyahu is a nightmare, and his allies are worse. They certainly are villains, even if Israel and Israelis are not. And that also doesn’t mean that Palestinian leadership are heroes.
It's pretty simple Trump cares more about himself than anyone else. Trump has a massive ego. Even Ann Coulter said it "He" would not allow himself to be pushed around like Biden.
Trump has pledged to lift all restrictions and delays on the supply of military equipment and ammunition to Israel immediately after his inauguration. Currently, U.S. restrictions include an embargo on certain weapons shipments and limitations on various combat-related equipment, impacting Israel’s defense capabilities. The pledge to lift all military supply restrictions from Trump’s first day in office would allow Israel to replenish its stockpiles and alleviate current constraints.
To be fair, Israel's claim for the Judea reason is much more established than the Golan heights: it was an important part of all historical "kingdoms of Israel" (that the modern land of Israel see itself as a continuation of), it was part of the British mandate of Israel - that was originally established "to facilitate a home for the Jewish people", it was conquered from the mandate area in 1948 by Jordan - who had no legitimate claim to the area. The only reason Israel annexed the Golan and not Judea is because the Israeli government is racist and didn't want to give 2M Muslim Arabs citizenship. As a left leaning Israeli - I'm all for annexing Judea and giving full voting rights to it's citizens - or give them the right of self determination: either works 🤷 the evil is the status quo under which all the horrors of the Israeli occupation occur, and the status quo must be abolished.

Like even if rhetoric = policy was a real concept, that still ignores the fact that "politicians lie". We have no clue whether or not he's a "deal maker" lol, he might abandon that line entirely once we get into office, like all American politicians do.
He isn't even good at making deals, that's my jobb, I mean I am the devil. Look at the trade wars with china, it made everything worse for everyone, now both the US and the chinese economy is crumbling. You know what good! Let's get rid of all the money! If there is no economy, they can't make more weapons to fight with. There will be no ww3, if there is no electrity to push the button with. The AI is doing us a favor, buy using all this useless power anyways. Maybe it's trying to stop ww3, or maybe it's trying to force them to push the buttons before it's to late for them to do it. Sorry for being so brutally honest. Love you all.❤
Even if Netanyahu sucked up to Biden, its only because he won the Presidency, not because he actually liked Biden. Netanyahu would much rather prefer Trump
Also, Trump just recently appointed people such as Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, Elise Stefanik as Ambassador to the UN, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense and these people are vehemently and extremely pro Israel because of religion and more.
But they don't make the decisions and he is appointing gabbard who is pro Assad. Some are isolationist so their religious beliefs are in their own sphere but not have a sense of reality on the ground. The aa accords stopped any possibility of annexation of any area beyond the green line as why should that be ignored
Huckabee is the perfect person to anoint someone to hide your own intentions that are not good for israel. He has no real say in the end.
Netanyahu sucked up to biden? i think you've got it mixed lol, it was the other way around. and i don't see trump being any different, he's bsaically the same in that part of foreign policy
There is not much hope for the Palestinian people going forward if we dont stand up and protect them. Trump does not like wars, but he wont stop Israel even if a genocide is ongoing. The destruction of Gaza and Palestine is unfolding right before our eyes and Trump is ready to sign the deal where Israel does to palestine what Hamas said they would do to Israel!

Theres a really hilarious years long joke with this channel that whatever they predict as likely, the opposite ends up happening. Its been a long trend.
This is pure copium.
dont do that, dont give me false hope
I think there's something to this video. 🙏🏻❤️
It's hard to believe, but I'm sure trump knows {who} is the real enemy.
Being pro-Israel doesnt mean going along with their plans. Half of Israel want a different approach to the war.
1:48 It's insane to me that a president that still sent a tone of weapons and constantly said "israel has the right to defend itself" while israel bombed gaza to the point of setting it back 50+ years is apparently "too critical of israel".
That's understandable considering the way things are framed. Some context you (and about 99% of people with an opinion) might need:
This is not the first but the third Gaza War in 15 years (08 and 14).

If he manages to sort out the gaza situation in the next 6 months, arab Americans will never vote Democrats ever again.
Yeah and he’s very likely to do it
fr.
LMFAO utterly delusional
Well that depends on what the 'sort out' does. If trump gets a palestinian state recognised the democrats might not win another election for 30 years. If he 'solves' it by letting israel annex the west bank and essentially making a palestinian state impossible, they will not be happy. The problem is the democrats cant offer them anything better because the Democratic party is a shambles
He will. Because there will be no Gaza in 6 months.
He will make a ceasefire deal and then leave the situation be. Too complex for a permanent solution.
Keep dreaming
Permanent solution is the single state of Israel retaking their land and the illegal Arabs occupying it returning back to Egypt & Jordan.
Yea it's funny that you actually believe this when Marco Rubio explicitly said he will not call for a ceasefire and Mike Huckabee, his ambassador to Israel has said that there is “no such thing as a Palestinian.”
The delusion is off the charts, pay attention to what is happening.
Not complex one side is a fascist apartheid state which wants more land .
"No one knows what Trump's Isarel policy will be."
I am certain even Trump doesn't know.
Take a look at Trumps appointment of Mike Huckabee as Ambassador to Israel then make another assessment.
Yeah stick to UK politics, this is untrue
They had an entire channel for US politics they had to end because it was so routinely bad lol

You title the video "why trump might not be as pro Israel as you think"

Mike Huckabee is not wrong. Palestinian nationalism was only invented in 1964. Before that everyone, including the Palestinians themselves, referred to them as “Arabs”. If Israel lost the 1948 war, the land would just have been split between Egypt and Jordan and the people there would have called themselves Egyptians or Jordanians.

Israel has no legitimate claim to any part of historic Palestine.
@guss77 Good day.
I've not had the opportunity to speak to many Israelis on these matters. Is there a chance we could chat? I'm a South African, so there are some situational parallels that could be drawn between our countries, but I'd love to speak with someone local & critical. Is there some way that would suit you?

It was called the British mandate of Palestine rtard. The status quo is the existence of your country and the toleration of it.

Having seen Italian politics, I'm pretty sure Italians would vote for him if he ran in Italy against Harris.
