It's not a simple child solving issue! These US missiles requires US targeting data and US firing codes! Which means US missile forces technicians arm and fire these missiles.
Now under International Law that's a major escalation that could lead to retaliation and a pathway to WW3.
What that means is that London could become targeted with much death and destruction! That's the point that I'm sure you don't want!!? Right? Lol .

The present situation in Ukraine has come about because the West failed to address Russia's security concerns. An underlying aim of the West was to allow Ukraine to become a member of NATO; a step that would help to diminish Russia militarily, politically and economically. That strategy has proved to be unsuccessful.
The war in Ukraine could have been avoided if the West had agreed to a European-wide security architecture which was to the benefit of all. America would never let another country do to it the equivalent of what the West has hoped for against Russia, to have a large NATO member on Russia's border.
In real politics the primacy of national sovereignty and independence does not hold sway when another nation's security is seriously threatened. In the case of Russia these insecurities have lead to a military response. Therefore, to avoid war in Ukraine it was imperative to address the ongoing security issues but sadly that did not happen. A Russian war aim still remains a European-wide security architecture but there are others concerns besides - the fair treatment of minorities, which is why two oblasts have now been declared Russian.
Events in Ukraine have not been covered in a transparent manner leaving the public caught out as the military situation evolves. But opinions and culpability depend on accurate reporting.

@user-iu5vc5ki8p, that’s actually not a half bad argument from realist international relations. The assumption that Russia was actually threatened, though, is wrong. Russia is the threatening party. You can know this because NATO expanded into Eastern Europe. NATO does not compel other countries to join. Now why, oh why, would Eastern European countries want to join NATO? You know why. Because dictatorships, and make no mistake, Russia is a dictatorship, ARE territorially ambitious. Remember when Putin sent troops to Minsk to put down protests and keep Lukashenko in power? Chechnya? South Ossetia? Crimea? Russia has been the primary instigator for the last two decades, putting down Democratic and independence movements on their borders. You’re delusional if don’t realize this. I guess you could just be a particularly fluent bot. So what are you, useful idiot or troll?

To anyone wondering why yesterday's decision to allow for long range missiles to be used by Ukraine, the simplest way to explain it is this: This switched the economic ratio of the war in favor of Ukraine. How?
    1) By "targeting the archer instead of the arrow": For ex. targeting a +/-$40M ru aircraft parked at a base instead of chasing down a $500k ru missile, or targetting a training center instead of troops at the front, or also hitting a logistic hub instead of a truck 10km from the front, etc). Ukraine is now multiplying the cost FOR ru.
    2) Longer lead time = better protection for civilians: By forcing ru to park their planes further away inside ru, it gives the Ukrainian Defense more TIME.
    3) ru Push logistics vs NATO Pull: by forcing ru to further push away their logistic centers, it makes it more difficult to plan.
