This guy knew as much as all of us,why interview someone who cant give us more detail on what the situ is in syria is?,i know more than him and ive just been following other news for the past few days..
Dictators will never learn anything. When the Syrian people rose up to oppression in 2011, they were clearly not against the Assad regime but simply asking for reforms, reforms which they wanted Bachar to be responsible for. Let us not forget that Bachar started off with his presidency fairly on a good footing, he wanted reforms especially his being a UK educated doctor. Even his generals discounted him that he wouldn't last 6 months after his taking over his deceased old man. But Bachar committed a fatal mistake in 2011, he listened to his oligarchs and aging generals, he started shooting live bullets at peaceful protesters, then that's when the armed uprising started against him and his regime. Very sadly, the Free Syrian Army lost ground and momentum to some of the dirtiest coward Jihadists and that was when world sympathy returned back to Bachar. Now Bachar seems to be doing the same mistake again, instead of using diplomacy, he has called on his crumbling Russian friends and Iran. The Russians know only one thing, carpet bombings and waves of human canon fodder as seen them doing miserably in Ukraine. Iran is a true coward, it never fights anyone directly, it uses its Arab puppet proxies like id did in Gaza and Lebanon where its proxies got their butts seriously whipped hard. Now to come to Syria, both the Syrian regime and its Russian and Iranian allies need to know this well beyond doubt, that when a people rise, don't stand on their way, especially when they are backed by Turkey, the USA and Israel. The world is watching up and close, the world hopes that this time, the Free Syrian Army will do the job properly and prevent these ruthless Islamic radicals from taking over their sacrifices to bring Syria to democracy and the respect and protection of all minorities, if the Syrian Free Army can do that, then victory will be assured as the world will recognize it pronto. The best thing now is for Putin to give Bachar asylum in Russia, quite possibly he will also have to do the same for Iran's Mullah liars while awaiting Trump to help Putin have an honorable exit strategy from Ukraine.
The roiling unrest in the entire region is a testimony to the loss of influence that ‘major powers’ can flex. Everyone claims to have hypersonic missiles, but just about every missile is hypersonic at some point. Iran doesn't have them, and Russia doesn't have air launched hypersonic missiles. We all saw the Kinzal missile fly over Ukraine, but it didn't have the tell tail signs of being hypersonic. It didn't create a plasma field like actual hypersonic missiles would create. You've probably seen space craft entering the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds and noticed the red plasma field that surrounds them. That plasma field only gets larger the closer you are to earth because the air is thicker.
