Well, this platform definitely works. For a guy who does not keep up with any media anymore but likes hotsauce, this is kind of how I learn about new movies and celebrities' lol. I had not heard of Paul, nor did I know a new Gladiator movie was coming out, but he seemed genuinely nice and now I want to see that movie ha.
He was fantastic in Aftersun and All of us Strangers. I have only twice been in a cinema where the audience was totally silent and stayed in their seats while the credits rolled and that happened in the cinema at the end of AOUS

I was in The Lir for a year at the same time as Paul, and he was supposed to be in a short film of mine a couple years later, but he pulled out because he said he got an ad, and I’m pretty sure it was that Denny’s ad. If he’d chosen my short and you got the Denny’s what state the world may be in now, who knows

i think a healthy view is as a fan supporting the actor for whatever project they want to do & root for them even if a decision is unexpected. we see what the industry and the actors themselves reveal, so i feel like we can recognize we like and know the public persona but not truly know the real inner and personal life of the person
