Enikku ivarudey bustakam ondu...'The Ivory Throne'. This book is riveting!!! I don't know what power he has, one of my own strengths is in the area of language, yet I cannot understand how he has me captured! I actually don't care about the relationships of royals but the way he writes is so compelling and engaging. That is called talent!

Really a great women....it's the biggest mistake of the history to corner her or to keep her achievements in Shadow..

A very good conversation with Manu S. Pillai, great interview Jai. The book unveils lots of interesting facts of Travancore history as a whole. Its a must read in this era especially when rumors and false stories are making way into our lives through social media. Anxiously waiting for the next release about the Deccan.

PPL like him is a reminder of what our society is all about, diversity,pluralism but recent days issues in Sabarimala really made me think as a society were we are heading, but we have a hope !!

What a delightful insight into the past ! It made me change several perceptions. Not read the book 'The Ivory Throne' yet as I was intimidated by the size of it. But today I bought one and have begun reading it. The first few pages have been facinating. It is good that the author focussed on the human element which is why it is bound to kindle interest.
