Tech nerd always seems not to be what Id call this channel. He buys a PC specficly for VR, but then goes for 14900k, when loads of games for VR can utilize the cache of 7800x3d. He'll at this point the PC is soon outdated anyway with 50 series coming, and 9800x3d. He basiclly bought the wrong PC, pretty much scammed. Also the case is a fractral north...And stop saying up to 6 ghz like its something amazing, or loads of cores xD Im more into PC specific channels, so these more normy channels annoys me every time they talk about PC's :& They know nothing.

They make screens for control rooms, control systems that are the US military standard, projectors, soundbars, but by far the most impressive is their boardroom solution called clickshare. It basically takes all of your peripherals in the room and takes control over it. You then get a wireless button that you connect to your laptop and with one click you have the screen, speakers, microphones and cameras wirelessly, without any delay or restrictions on quality

The room already has sound absorbing walls everywhere, so just get a projector, screen and speakers, but this video has opened my eyes to all the ridiculously awesome possibilities I didn't know I might want. And you've future proofed it so well, you'll only have to swap out consoles and PCs every decade or so. I was a little scared for your security when you revealed the cost of everything but this level of transparency is what makes us follow RUclipsrs in the first place. The little "Wow!" at 15:04 absolutely got me! So happy for you! Please don't shy away about making videos here when things go awry as well. Would love to see content on maintenance, repairability etc as well. Like how does that server cabinet stay cool and not make a ton of noise? If a connection does not work, do you have to rip out entire wall covering cloths? Things like that would be super cool.
I usually don’t like videos like this but you can really tell he is thankful for being able to do this. Been watching for a long time and I’m glad you finally are getting what you want and deserve. Amazing Video, just one tip - Coming from a PC person, please take your PC off of the carpet and put it onto a solid surface, even if it's just a thin panel of black wood to match the carpet. If you don't, the inside of the PC will get incrdibily dusty, incredibily quickly which will cause it to overheat under load if you dont clean it often.
Doesn't it depend on if there are fans on the bottom of the case? If there aren't, then i dont think it makes a big difference, but i could be wrong. I know it shouldn't be in carpet either way, but still
@gamesforlife2670 I can't be certain, but with a 4090 & An I9 Processor, that pc will probably have a 360mm radiator which in that case (Fractal Design North) will probably be top mounted, so the air will be pulled from the bottom (the carpet) pulling the dust up through the components and then out the top. It could be front mounted in the XL version of the case, but normally radiators are top mounted. Regardless, the pc touching the carpet won't be good because of the static electricity.
@@JJFplayz2006 there is prob a rad on the top front and bottom of this case given the hardware. he likely made it so it exhausts hot air out the bottom instead of sucks in dust. Also static electricity is not a real thing to be concerned about with your pc. LTT did a good video where they showed that even when using a tool that emits static electricity directly in contact with the motherboard and graphics card it doesnt do anything.

Honestly, a lot of these videos where tech youtubers show off their setups just feel like a flex. This feels different though, you can tell how overwhelmed with joy you are to have this space in your house and I'm happy for you both! Would absolutely love to experience this myself.

Then Arun shows this controller and is like "all these controllers are in this _one_ controller". You know what's frustrating is that all these expenses are easily forgotten within a few months and don't matter at all. What remains are those happy moments and that joy that are often lost in this extravagance and obsession, and we constantly look for it with subsequent purchases, but we can't find it because half of the pleasure of these things is that they are not available and hard to obtain. Unfortunately, too much money has destroyed all this pleasure, and the other half was in that period of life when such entertainment was twice as enjoyable, namely childhood and adolescence, and that period is now gone and no longer attainable.
Would love to see a separate video on the economics and financial breakdowns of building the dream home/these specific dream rooms, maybe after you're done just revelling in what you've achieved.. Enjoy it and take it all in for now bro!

You may find you regret the i9 14900 CPU in that VR PC. Not for fan boy intel vs AMD reasons, but depending on the power settings the builder applied to the chip ... it could quite easily burn out. Theres a lot of news on it, intel has taken a lot of flack over the issue as they didnt limit what motherboard makers can do regarding these hardware destroying settings, in their quest to one up each other. Just be aware, and again, it depends on the settings the system builder used initially.

Arun just a heads up, usually power supply do take air from the bottom of modern cases like those at 15:11 so with a soft carpet you might be choking it out, i would advise to put it higher up on some stands instead of having the carpet this against it else it might result in a fire hazard
@@aryankumar2148you do know water cooled pcs still need somewhere to dump out the heat right? It doesn’t magically disappear, this is usually done with a radiator and blown with a fan.
@@aryankumar2148 bro water cooled just means that the heat from the cpu and GPU are taken to a radiator through water. There are still fans attached to the radiator and power supplies having Step down coils which need cooling so they have a separate fan as well. With no airflow in that, it becomes a fire hazard.

You may find you regret the i9 14900 CPU in that VR PC.
Not for fan boy intel vs AMD reasons, but depending on the power settings the builder applied to the chip ... it could quite easily burn out.
Theres a lot of news on it, intel has taken a lot of flack over the issue as they didnt limit what motherboard makers can do regarding these hardware destroying settings, in their quest to one up each other. Just be aware, and again, it depends on the settings the system builder used initially.

Arun just a heads up, usually power supply do take air from the bottom of modern cases like those at 15:11 so with a soft carpet you might be choking it out, i would advise to put it higher up on some stands instead of having the carpet this against it else it might result in a fire hazard

@@aryankumar2148 bro water cooled just means that the heat from the cpu and GPU are taken to a radiator through water. There are still fans attached to the radiator and power supplies having Step down coils which need cooling so they have a separate fan as well.
With no airflow in that, it becomes a fire hazard.
