I miss old school moding. As in, actually MAKING the mods, instead of buying 3d printed stuff from online stores and calling it "modding". Nothing bad in buying aftermarket 3d parts, mind you, just that is actually a different hobby.
You know that old school mods never left that is just evolution of a hobby I see plenty of them at big HvZ events. To what you were saying buying a hardware kit and 3D Printing the shell building the blaster by hand is modding and is a gateway for a lot of people to join the hobby I thought we wanted to make this hobby bigger and popular not pointless gatekeeping of what people should do.
I would really like to do old school moding as you describe, but don’t have the resources to or the required skills to make metal parts, I do want to learn them though. edit I do you realize that I don’t have to go with metal parts and am thinking of making a few couplers and a few other things as well that don’t involve 3-D printing. But I do not believe that the two things are different hobbies.
Then you would love my minimized harrier video. Aka “rier” 😂 not a single 3D printed part in that build. Just me, a handsaw, and some vigorous sanding lol (Maybe a dremel too)
Another point I really like the 3-D printing and sharing designs is as common as it is because now people can take design that they like and then give it to a lot of other people in the exact dimensions that the original person has it.
as a counterpoint, I did like how the hit convention of putting your blaster in the air when hit made it look like you were actually collapsing dramatically each time
@@beretnarf I mean yes, I could tell who you were aiming at but the barrel was offset from the person you were shooting at, so it looked a bit awkward. A lot of other youtubers mount a barrel camera on the top rail and have a red dot on a riser above it so the point of aim looks natural.
Are you able to mount the GoPro on the right side of the blaster? The GoPro's line of sight was hidden behind cover most of the time-as you are right hand dominant. Thanks for another game play content and appreciate the different POV from the side of the blaster this time. Stay safe and God Bless. Yosh...
This is the type of hard hitting, pulse pounding, gravity-defying, lower lip biting, slap you in your face, knock out, drag out, genre elevating RUclips video that I subscribe for!
I like that I can see your hands more in the blaster cam. There is a lot more time where we can see parts of you and what you are doing. ...but I also appreciate the headcam following your gaze. So I'm torn.
Love the video, new gameplay makes me happy. Blaster cam with gimbal or whatever isn't as bad as I would have expected. Still think I prefer the headcam though. Will the wheel replace I'd run that in a war?

I geuss you could say he was out of darts
Thanks for the shout out! Glad you like the holster!

I completely agree

I think it's pretty obvious in both but preference is fair.

i like the audio on the guncam
edit: seagull was baller!
"Spin the wheel" -Mr. Rattle me Bones.
Love the wheel. I wonder if the blaster cam being on the right side would be better? It was much more stable than I thought it would be.
I thought you would have used a Stryker 2.0 for the green.
But scavenging darts for the Venom added to the intensity 😂

Clearly he needs TWO go pros!
when Brett starts out a video with "Uh oh" you know it's going to be a banger lol
Love these battle videos! Thank you.

Blaster cam footage might have been better if the camera was on the outer side of the blaster.
Maybe? Right side of the blaster for a right handed user looks a little awkward.
nice
Best cam angle is giant cam
Hey beret would you say you lost a life because you were OUT OF DART???? 😂 good video though
I preder the headcam. For what nightingale was that holster for?
It was for the original nightingale- the 2.0 wasn't out yet.
@@beretnarf thank you, I think i'm going to buy it.
I think if you do keep it on the blaster, put it on the top rail or something so we can see what you’re aiming at
No
I do hope wheel see more of the wheel
i said a bat why not a bat
