I'm sitting here by the bedside of my beloved 86 year old mum during her last hours on earth. It's been an incredibly tough time for her, but she's asleep most of the time now. I read that a person's hearing is one of the last senses to go so I'm playing this video in the hope that she can hear the beautiful sound of the piano and birdsong and feel that she's drifting away to heaven...

As a Native American this Buddhist music sounds and more importantly feels similar to our music. It's amazing to me how this expression of inner peace, culture and talent can be so eerily similar to another when separated by great distance and time.
