      it’s amazing your gonna love it
      transition from a normal electric will take some getting used to as of course its more of a classical neck slimmed down but it’s an easy learning curve to get used to
      like the guy said you can literally be gentle with it and get so much sound and substain not to much bells and whistles

    Please to see Cordoba get into this type of nylon string guitar similar to Godin.I hope other manufacturers will follow suit and we will get a very high end set of guitars in finish feel tone even before the electronics.It would be nice to have memory slots to dial in tone choices.
    I would like Cordoba to send one to Helen Ibe in Nigeria lets see what she would do with a nylon string and some African rhythms .

    My current guitar (which I absolutely love) is a Cordoba GK Pro Negra. The 50mm wide nut is perfect for me. I'm a little concerned that the "narrow" 48mm nut on this "stage" model would make my fingers feel cramped. Of the three of you testing the guitar, do any (or all) of you come from a classical or flamenco background (with a wider nut being the norm)? Does that 48mm nut "feel funny" to you? Just wondering. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thank you! 😋

    • @raybossa
      @raybossa 9 месяцев назад

      if I may answer, I come from a classical background, but I switched to crossover nylon strings guitars (I'm playing a Takamine TC135SC at the moment, which I love, and the nut width is 46mm, neck has a radius, and has 14 frets to the body). My fingers are not cramped at all. I can also play my acoustic guitars (which have a shorter nut width). I wouldn't go back to classical guitars, neck is flat and very wide (I have short fingers). Cheers :)

    Debería venir más ajustada. Con una acción más baja. Según la compres la tienes que llevar a un luthier y además cambiar los clavijeros (son muy malos). Creo que han invertido más en marketing que en la construcción. Aún así debo decir que suena sorprendentemente bien

    I'm desperate to get myself one of these but can't seem to find any in stock in the UK. I already have a Yamaha SLG200N silent guitar and was looking at getting a Cordoba Stage and recording some videos of it. I'm actually in the process right now of recording a version of "Mediterranean Sundance" / "Rio Ancho" by Al Di Meola / Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin and would have loved to have tried out the Cordoba Stage for the recording. Is there any more stock planned for the UK guys? Many thanks. Carlo 👍🏼🎸

    I have owned one for one week and will be sending it back. The pickup system sounds really good but it plays like a cheap toy. No amount of neck adjustment will change the string height at the twelfth fret. This guitar cannot be set up for technical playing. (I assume this is why there are no technical players in any of the videos). The Bridge saddle radius does not match the fret board radius. The string holes in the saddle are set too high, thus causing too much pressure on the low strings at the loop. This makes it very difficult to lower the saddle without removing some wood. Cordoba, if you read this -please add higher frets, fix the neck angle so it's even like a flamenco guitar, adjust the saddle to match the fretboard and I will buy another one. It's a great concept but it's either not ready or your production has poor quality control. Has anyone tried the Harley Benton hybrid?

    • @chuckbluz
      @chuckbluz 2 года назад

      Interesting. This would explain why I'm hearing slight intonation problems in all these videos, especially higher up on the fretboard.

The sound was not nearly as good as these videos, either acoustically or amplified, and the fretboard and action were not comfortable. I was very underwhelmed! "It sounds like a REAL nylon string guitar"... Is she implying that this is not a real guitar? What a strange thing to say.

    • @Henry124
      @Henry124 2 года назад +2

      She means it sounds like Acoustic nylon guitar. Because this one is plugged, so the sound is not "real" wooden made, its eletric. Its a well know problem with every single plugged guitar (including this one, in my opinion), that the lower strings cant reproduce the real acoustic sound. It's a question of taste. Sure its great for stage and shows... but some people, specially those who play classic music, cant get used to eletric tone.

    • @mikal
      @mikal 2 года назад +1

      @@Henry124 Everybody knows your tone is different through a pickup as opposed to standing in front of the instrument. This is not the problem, and it isn't what she said. She said it "sounds like a *real* guitar", implying that is in fact not a "real" guitar.

Questa Cordoba Stage per me invece è veramente inutile se non addirittura brutta esteticamente e con suono orribile, freddo da pick up sparato al massimo, forse hanno voluto fare concorrenza alla Godin senza riuscirci. I bought the red one. Yeah, well, ok : from the outside it has a very elegant look (if you change these simili-wooden knobs : their colour doesn't suit any other wood colour of the guitar), the body is nicely slim and the guitar is very light (which is nice if your shoulder or back hurts). The action is a bit to high and I asked a luthier to fix that. In my point of view, this Cordoba Stage is not worth its price at all. "A revolutionary pickup system" ? Are you kiddin' , Cordoba ? The 3rd knob isn't very useful and the mics are OK but not great. And on top of it all, the same remark could be made about the guitar machine heads : the guitar quickly gets out of tune while you play flamenco, gypsy or blues, or whatever isn't soft and sweet. I'm not satisfied at all !

      It’s the neo soul style, drag and pull a few beats around and it makes a pretty huge pocket. In this case, they just pulling the snare ahead just a little bit, it’s a pretty large identifying aspect of hip hop, soul, etc.
      When it comes to being offbeat, I feel like there are much worse offenders, but as long as the drummer is confident and the band follows you can pull off just about anything. It’s fun to play even if you may not enjoy listening to it.
