I don't know about that, the ending fights together got a lot of attention, but Appa and Momo def got more dialogue in this scene than any other character in the whole run.
Things I loved most about this: 1. The random jumps in animation style and/or quality 2. Zach's lines 3. The final battle still looked really well animated for how goofy it was

I adore Zuko and Uncle Iroh in this. I love how Uncle Iroh just mumbles and shuffles up to people to calm them down and somehow it is just as soothing as the actual Uncle Iroh. And the scene were Uncle Iroh and Zuko hug was somehow still an emotional gut punch just like the show. I love it.

There needs to be a prequel series that shows the lives of the 6 named Avatars who came before Korra and Aang; Roku, Kyoshi, Kuruk, Yangchen, Szeto, and Salai! I like how the novels and comics have given them more backstory and we got a few episodes featuring some of them, but I want to see them all in an actual show.
sad fact: when Uncle Hiro's voice actor sang the song for his deceased son, he really cried because he knew he was going to die soon. The scene was his last shot. He died before the episode aired. So the episode was dedicated to him
This is true except for that being the last recording episode of his voice. He pre-recorded his lines before he died to finish up book 2. Which is why, at the start of his time in jail (start of book 3) after being betrayed by Zuko, he never said a word. Because they were looking for a new voice actor for him. Even when Zuko went to see him for advice, he never responded for that reason. But it really blended into the plot. "The Tales of Ba Sing Se" with Uncle Iroh singing and mourning the death of his son was a way to announce Mako's death. But his voice continued past his death until the end of book 2 since he had pre-recorded.
