If don't want to risk to put too many consoles in storage, you have to push it in some way. Too many consoles in storages means storages costs for Nintendo. Ok let's do the math here if they started massive production let say NOV 1st and they want to release it in April 2025 ( and rumors say about 7 million consoles available ) then they have to make 47 000 consoles every day for the next 150 days , now if they want to release it in Nov 1st 2025 they have to make 19 000 consoles every day for the next 365 days now 19k consoles every day is extremely big number unless they have a massive factory or many massive factories it will be really hard to achieve 7 mln consoles at the release date.
no company would waste their money investing on unnecessary expenses like building or maintaining a factory neither a massive depot. they just rent it from service providers lol.

I think there’s a good chance they will release the new console well in advance of the Christmas season next year. For one, this would mitigate the scalping and make it bountiful and available early on before the Christmas shopping commences. Second, it’s been a good while coming and I believe it will satiate the appetite of those with hunger pangs. And I think it will help bring in the greater sales to exhibit in the next fiscal earnings report in 2026. I dunno… but let’s see.
