Just bough an XF Sportbrake. My first jag after owning only german cars - and I have to say I am very impressed. The comfort is better than any car ive had
Looks great. Enjoyed the review thanks. I do think that Jaguar have missed a trick by not adding a PHEV to the range though. Surely they will miss out on company car sales.
Isn't the PHEV very horrible? where i'm from the EV market have taken off, nobody wanted the PHEV Range rover sport,i even saw one for sale that's 60K usd cheaper than the petrol inline 6 version

Why is it thought that German cars are apparently the benchmark to either match or beat ! In my 40 years of being in the motor trade and having owned and driven most makes and models, I can honestly say some of the most unreliable cars and disengaging cars I've either owned or driven have been German and in particular Audi.
Agree it's a great car and excellent value to buy but unfortunately Jag cannot match the lease deals of the German rivals so it will never sell anywhere near as much as the competition.
Definitely think this jaguar xf sportbrake looks better than any other estate cars, it's even better looking than the Audi A6 Avant which I like the look of, but this jaguar looks even better, beautiful car inside and out, I'd have it in silver colour with cream interior an black alloys in r dynamic s trim 👌👍🏴
Jaguar really do upset me, they have gone from XK 120, XK140/50, E-type and F-type to this, No XJ series, No manual gearboxes, slightly quick shopping trolley's
Strange I have had two Range rovers sports and done 200.000 miles no issues, and a year into Ftype 15000 miles again no issues, my company runs 6 Discovery’s over last two years with only one warranty claim, but keep pushing those stereotypes
Great shame the V6 diesel is no longer available, we ran that engine in three previous XFs it was powerful and economical, with decent reliability, failing that I would love a petrol hybrid, my wife runs a BMW 330e and we get 75mpg, the new interior Is a step forward, and so nice to have alternative to Germans
No chrome exhaust tips, no piping or quilting on the seats, center screen looks like it's from Best Buy and glued on....sorry Jag but this one is a dud.
The XF sportbrake is a prime example of why you dont need an suv. Conpared to say the land rover discovery or the porsche cayenne the jag is cheaper, more economical and wont be vandalised or stolen its a no brainer unless you live in the countryside. Sadly people brought obese rinos like the range rover sport and the bmw x5. Which is like choosing Diane abbot over scarlett johansson.

Love it. Just wish the gave the '21 XF the rear lights they gave the '21 F-Pace.

what a stunning car
No exhaust tips? That's brutal.
Gotta love a Jag!
Great review! Can only agree, very comfortable and the interior looks amazing. But the lane keep assist is a joke really...

Yep, I agree. It's like the emperors new clothes.
I will also add bmw 😂
I was wondering if you have owned or driven a Volvo V90? If so what’s the difference between these two? Which one would you buy? Thanks.
Really good review, subbed.
Thanks Mark! Plenty more on the way... - Cam
Shame they're not offering the petrol I6 or petrol V8.
If only they had a plugin hybrid, I'd buy one immediately.
Likewise if they had the V8
Got the 2018 XF Sportbrake 300 hp Diesel. Wonderful driving experience. Big mistake to get rid of that driveline.

Someone call the cops theres been a break-in at the Audi factory 😳
Let's see if this model is retained by the upcoming model cull and all new electric models starting. Thierry has been pretty tight-lipped about it.
A bit too tight lipped. I’m wondering at this stage whether it’s just being left to wither and die.

No 3L - No interest.
Semi basking shark grill.
ITS NOT A FACELIFT
Not got to watch this yet but I'm willing to bet Jaguar Land Rover's horrific reliability was not mentioned.

@@alanwayte432 I'm not sure if the global head of Jag Land Rover saying he admits they have a problem with quality is me pushing stereotypes.
@@slugger7440 Product build quality is not the same as on the road product reliability.
@@rtfazeberdee3519 correct but Jag Land Rover are terrible at both.

German car neater? 😂😂 Yea nice try. Not even close, maybe a Toyota beater.
