On Dex: - many of you mentioned that I completely forgot to mention Dex. I did not forget. Me and my team decided to intentionally leave it out, to make the Software comparison more straight forward and easier to understand, as there are simply a ton of differences and we wanted to avoid this turning into a 30minute video that a lot of you might have gotten bored with. That was a mistake. We should’ve mentioned Dex. However, it doesn't actually make a big difference when it comes to using the Tab S9 Ultra. There are 2 DeX modes now. New & Classic - New DeX looks the same as the regular UI, just with a redesigned task bar. The only advantage to this is that any app opens up in a window, rather than full-screen. Without activating New DeX, you can still achieve the exact same thing, by dragging an app to the middle of the screen, for it to open in windowed mode. - Classic DeX is the one that most people are familiar with. This requires a restart and it lays the icons on the home-screen like on a laptop. It also redesigns the task bar to have a clock and look very similar to a Windows taskbar. However, you don't actually get any extra functionality other than this. Most of the DeX functionality is already built into the Tab S9 Ultra's default UI. And Samsung themselves are also very much aware of that, as there is almost 0 mention of DeX at all, on their Tab S9 Ultra product page (it's also mentioned briefly at the very bottom). Therefore, while DeX lets you open up apps in windowed mode by default, Stage Manager does the same and it is more powerful as it gives you the side bar preview on the left and easily lets you switch between groups of apps. DeX is better and allowing you to resize windows however you want though. Still, neither are actually laptop replacements and you can get a far more capable laptop, for a similar (or even lower) price.
I agree but there are literally like two or three very specific apps that Apple has for specific use case. Which is damn good. But to mention stage manager when talking about multitasking and leave out Dex was just plain ignorant. But thank you for addressing it here. Not to mention on iOS file management is absolutely terrible and needs a complete overhaul. I hope and pray that WWDC can fix this.
@@melvinjradornogalay hmmmm that’s a good question. But in all honesty probably not. You have a mini led 120hz display with a powerful M1 chip so that new price is a hard pill to swallow. I haven’t had an iPad myself for a long time so it was time. Been about 10 years for me. My wife has an m1 and I have the m4. I wasn’t getting an iPad until they made the current changes but there is room for improvement on the os.
Daniel, I'm an Apple fan and I got to say you really pushed the iPad too much. It's beyond obvious that you cherry-picked a webpage that scaled to make the Samsung look worse. It made me feel uncomfortable that you'd purposely leave out Dex in this review. You are also not telling people how extremely useful it is when it's connected to an external monitor. As a subscriber I'm really disappointed you didn't give this an honest and fair review. 😕
16:10 is a terrible screen aspect ratio for a tablet unless you only want to watch videos. It makes the screen way too narrow in either landscape or portrait mode. A 3:2 aspect ratio would be better for Samsung tablet for typing document or web browsing.
Not to mention that the samsung ecosystem instantly connects to each other and you can copy and paste files from your phone to your laptop to your tablet by just using the laptop track pad you can also automatically use your phone back cameras to act as a webcam.
Smh, this video is biased and skewed towards the ipad pro. For such a big channel, I expected plain facts and not fanboyism. How can you say the S9 ultra can't be a laptop replacement without even mentioning dex? Not all of us are power video editors. There are a handful of apps and games that are available only on the ipad and I and most of my friends don't have any use for them. If I want a console game, I'd play my ps5. I'm quite disappointed in this video TBH

Okay fine but it still wouldn't change the outcome. Honestly Samsung has been slacking a ton since 2020, the quality of their OLED displays are nowhere as good as it used to be, and I blame Samsung display for taking a piece of sales bigger than they could chew, ever since they became responsible for manufacturing Appels OLED display they went making 100 million panels to around 200 million. The display that LG and Samsung manufacture for Apple is brilliant, brighter and literally top notch, the ones being sold to Samsung electronics have a higher resolution but they aren't as good and not to mention that S10, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra all had burn in and they can't hold their pick brightness much longer, and as a Samsung fan and customer since the very first S1 aka Galaxy Epic for Sprint, the display was eyes catching and unique to point I dropped my iPhone wishes and went with Samsung and never looked back until now. I'm also sick of the bloatware that they pre-install on behalf of other companies, so they make money out of storage I pay for and on top of that they wont let uninstall these goddam trash apps.
@@vinny7114 well the reason why Samsung will never stop selling OLEDs to Apple is because it is a huge part of their revenue and if Apple found another vendor that could keep up or start using micro LED, which is supposedly the plan, Samsung would lose a ton of money. Just like Google pays Apple billions annually to keep Google as the default on the iPhone, which is a huge part of their revenue because they make a lot more in the end
I am with him. No notch should be on a tablet. This stupid notch trend on a tablet must stop. And as someone who has used both Galaxy Tabs and iPads, in a heartbeat I will pick iPads over Galaxy Tabs as my experience with all the Samsung Galaxy Tablets is frustrating. The only good thing was my Galaxy tablets did not have a stupid notch, but I sold them and got myself an iPad.
I'm an Apple fan and user, but even I gotta say that the review did feel a little biased. I do think that the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra is a lot better than how you described it to be compared to the M4 iPad Pro haha.
Mentioning Dex and the cases where it could be useful, would be part of a complete review. Huh? Have you felt both in each hand? The reason we have a reviewer is for them to do it for you. When holding a Samsung you feel the imbalance, extra thickness, weight, and material, all come together to just seem like a lower quality that's bigger, heavier, thicker, clunkier. Not by too much and not a deal-breaker, but it's also very noticeable. It seems you simply have no credibility for a reviewer telling it like it is, when you want to imagine it being a certain way for yourself.

And believe that is more likely than just, he is reporting on what he experienced. I have also held both and it's noticeable. Feels like one is half as thick even though on paper it's much less. This is what industrial design is all about. Humans do not experience specs directly like maths cyborgs. We experience a mishmash of multiple qualities as a single quality, inside the brain. Sure it's an accomplishment to reduce the thickness, but the way he made it out was as it were an astonishing difference. Now if you say you felt the difference then sure maybe. But the gap is so small to make a point out of it.
@zoneoftech, as an owner of both of these devices you left out quite a bit and were a lot more biased in this review. The tab s 9 ultra does have facial recognition just not Face ID. When utilizing the tab s9 ultra you can use Dex mode which allows for much more freedom when multitasking and resizing windows. Both of these devices are great and I wish that Samsung had control over there OS and get away from android as one ui is damn near complete. Apples file management on iPad is is complete garbage. Samsungs native file system is leagues ahead so when doing certain work it is much better. Both are great machines depending on what the consumer is looking for.
I'm more concerned he's comparing the BRAND NEW iPad vs a year old samsung. That's not exactly fair. I switched from iPad at the S4 generation and have not looked back. The apple tax is just too much even though I use iPhone.

I mean he is biased but that part was actually correct.. The size of the S9 ultra and it's 16:10 makes feel kinda long and awkward to hold. It's basically like holding a rectangle vs holding a more square shape.
@@carlosk8103 the size, whatever it may be, was not the issue he pointed out, he said the weight distribution was off, while holding it awkwardly, even though it was not easily perceivable since there was a video overlay on top of the samsung device, my OCD just kicked in when I saw that he was holding it not in the center (where the USB-C charging port is) then complaining about how it was tipping to one side.
Dex which wasn't mentioned changes the game being a far better offering that anything Apple has on the ipad. I am heavily in the Apple ecosystem and truly wish Apple would "upgrade" the ipad OS.
Stage manager is something similar to Dex. So Dex is by no means a game-changing advantage or anything. Apple still has all that functionality. Additionally, Apple has access to professional apps which is a game-changer
i used dex .. its meh like normal .. i feel the stage manager on the ipad is similar to that .. and i love that the apps in apple have to be designed to resize.. Some sizes for RUclips in one ui for example cant be usable
Yes. I felt like he is Apple biased for sure the whole video. He was definitely convincing himself many times that prefers the iPad over the Tab S9 Ultra for odd things in my opinion. Typing this on my Tab S9 Ultra, and this not some glorified Netflix machine for "movie watching in a dark room" as he mentioned multiple times. The Tab S9 Ultra definitely has way more potential than the iPad and its weak operating system. 🙄 I feel as though mentioning Samsung Dex was purposefully dodged as to not "accidentally" give the edge to the Tab S9 Ultra. 😂
You sure about those brightness numbers on that S9 Ultra? I have one and it doesn’t get that bright under HDR. Samsung quotes it at 930 nits maximum while Tom’s Guide measured the maximum at 834 nits on a 10% window. On SDR, the S9 Ultra only gets to 430 nits.
Biased review as the other comments state. You left dex “intentionally” and put the tiny difference in which of them is thinner?? Like that .4 mm.. you notice them? And if the Apple were more thicker, I’m sure you would say “the Samsung is thinner but it does not make a difference whatsoever”. And what about other great details that you left underestimating?? I personally went with the 13 inch iPad Pro M4 it replaced my Macbookpro back in 2015 and I’ve never looked back. Yes I have a Mac mini M1 that I barely turn on, but everybody has their workflows and the quality of the screen over the M1 iPad Pro is definitely noticeable, especially for content consumption, but also gives me great features beyond that. Biggest laptop replacement feature of any samsung mobile device especially of Tabs is Samsung Dex which is not mentioned at all. Dex for all intent and purposes behaves like a proper Laptop OS UI.
If you consider a Chromebook-mongrel that can't run any mainstream software from Windows, Mac, or Linux, as a "proper Laptop OS", then yeah. But HE DID MENTION that neither is a replacement for a proper laptop. You just weren't paying attention when he did.

Trust me guys the tab s9 is superior and more fun to use. One of the best I've owned . It comes w s pen in box , is water proof, can do higher level emulation , no limitations, better multi tasking , has micro SD card, has open operating system etc. Also apple got that apple pencil idea from Samsung
Just a few mins this guy is trying so hard to push things towards the ipad. Fan boy opinion is ok but its as if you are justifying your purchase and you dont have an objective opinion at all.
The one small issue that I have with the Tab S9 Ultra is the notch. Why Samsung? But otherwise, these are both great options. I wish Apple offered more options for the Magic Keyboard, ideally a black back covering, silver trackpad and base, and either white or black keys.

No tablets should be designed with a silly notch! This trend of having a notch on a tablet must be stopped. It’s unnecessary, unsightly and it takes away the joy of enjoying your tablet screen to the fullest. iPad FTW!❤
I love when an Apple fanboy tries to review something he doesn't understand. The tab is over a year old and functions better as a tablet. The i pad air doesn't function as well as a tablet and isn't good enough to be a laptop. It's a over priced joke. Try using a non apple mouse or keyboard on it. The reason you didn't show Dex is because you don't know how to use it. Imagine designing a keyboard with no place to put the pen lazy. Or can't use, on your lap.

I just bought a M4 Pro and I am really happy with it. It’s probably a bit too much for my, bc I just take notes with it in school but the feeling is very nice
I'm enjoying my 2tb m4 ipad 13 inch and I'm glad I didn't get nano textured glass it scratches way to easily. I also owned the galaxy tab s9 ultra and it's been my go to over my 12.9 m1 ipad until this latest revision of the ipad.
I prefer the “Black 2tb nano texture iPad Pro with the M4 chip” I’m saving for it! No question! Though I would like to see a 3000 nit display of brightness on the iPad Pro (and iPhone 17pro or hopefully the iPhone 16Pro) “both with Nano Texture” just like the Apple WatchUltra. for the future and maybe with (3000) HDR content on the iPad Pro 😮 that would be ultimate.. but nothing more than that (with 4k - 240hz) or (8k - 240hz ready) …I think for display and content that should be as far as they push it…..big fan of your content btw…thanks for the updates!

If you are an Apple fan obviously M4, but if you're an Android fan and a Samsung Fan obviously you're gonna go with the S9 Ultra. I know M4 is a more capable hardware but i've been a samsung fan for awhile and i love their eco system and you can do so much more with Android OS. it's a great OS for developers
A really poor comparison. Not expected from someone who usually give amazing product reviews and comparison. Whatever the reason buddy, please give this review another shot. The galaxy tab has way more useful features and things that you didn't mention. The video seems a lot rushed instead of being insightful.
This is a good review, but it's missing the forest for the tree. For notetaking + watching lectures, the S9 ultra feels much better. It's also better for video content because of... yes the screen size and ratio! For me, my iPad was only good for reading and checking social media. Samsung has issues with app support, and the software doesn't feel as cohesive as iPadOS, but it definitely feels better as a tablet imo. Everyone's use case is different though.
for what the ipad pro can do.. i will always get the tab s ultra as the near laptop-replacement and get the ipad mini or ipad pro 11 if i really need an iOS tablet for portability since iPad OS is so constrained...
I have both, the Samsung s9 Ultra is better for watching content and the iPad Pro 13 inch M4 is better for reading content. Both are fantastic for work!!!
I am unsubscribing I sold my tab S9 ultra and bought new pencil pro keyboard and 256gb M4 LTE. The screen is better the chip is not important at all as an overkill for I don’t use any fancy editing programs like davinci etc. But a lot of things I am missing which I was using from my tab s9 😢😢😢 Also the money spent because of these sided reviews. Now another one is pushing the M4 chips on new macs. Most probably get back to windows and try not to see any of these bloggers until my devices says Its my time to retire.
I have both, in my opinion I love the tab s9 ultra more and after spending a week with the M4 ipad pro, I turn it into a family tablet. The tab s9 ultra is much closer to a PC when you use the Dex function, even without Dex opening multiple windows in tabs9 ultra is much easier. The only things that the M4 ipad pro come on top is during online meetings. As a psychologist when I'm having an online session with a client, the ipad's front facing camera is just better than the tab s9 ultra by a little, maybe this have something to do with ipadOS, I'm not 100% sure. The M4 chip is very powerful, but the ipadOS is what holding it back from greatness. The M4 ipad pro is like someone bought a RTX 4090 and using a old low end CPU, which will result in the high end GPU to bottleneck and not operating at peak performance.
Btw resident evil village isn’t worth it on the iPad. The base game is 39 dollars and if you want to play it in 3rd person you need to buy the winter expansion pack for 20 dollars. Totaling 59 dollars for the mobile version compared to 29 dollars ps5 physical copy of the gold edition which contains the expansion packs and the 49 dollar gold edition which you can get on the steam, ps5 digital store and xbox store.
I have a Tab S9 Ultra 1TB and will never go back to anything apple. Actually sold my whole ecosystem and went to Samsungs. The difference is night and day. I will never buy a apple product again. Just wish the customer service was better for Samsung as it is horrible.
With the 13 the keyboard does not lay flush on the table once you have it pivoted. That sucks and is extremely annoying especially while lifting up from typing. The 11 doesn’t do that. So the keyboard for the 13 is 🗑️
The review made it sound like the tab s9 is only good for note taking when its more than fine for digital arts. Wacom stylus has been around for years and artists has been using it ever since so to say that a wacom powered stylus is only good for note taking is not right. Additionaly, while the apple stylus is good for drawing, the tip is not ideal for it which requires you to buy a screen protector that will give you some resistance. The review glazed too much on procreate when pro art apps are also available on android. Clip Studio paint is more pro than procreate imo and its available on both platforms. The reviewer needs to do some research before publishing a product review video.
honestly even though i love appel products i think that in a keyboard combo the tab s9 is just better and feels like make ur money worth while the ipad is jsut oo expensive so an mac would be just better.
I despite 16:9 and 16: 10 tablets and monitors in general. Ipads aspect ratio is the best in the market. I think Hawei copy this and their tablets are also 4:3
Broooo. I like iPad and I use one too. But this comparison is not well thought out. iPads have very powerful CPU but it is way too limited by software. I feel that S9 Ultra can do way more than what iPad offers

Do you know anyone like that? I wanted to see if the new Apple iPad Pro M4 is worth it compared to the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra. Both are expensive, but the Apple is way overpriced and doesn't have an SD card slot. I’m considering pulling out credit and getting into debt to buy it. I can pay it off over time since the interest rate isn't too bad, but I want to feel like I actually got my money’s worth and not feel ripped off. P.S. if I did get an ipad pro it would be my very first apple tablet to own. I've never own one before.

- Classic DeX is the one that most people are familiar with. This requires a restart and it lays the icons on the home-screen like on a laptop. It also redesigns the task bar to have a clock and look very similar to a Windows taskbar. However, you don't actually get any extra functionality other than this.
Most of the DeX functionality is already built into the Tab S9 Ultra's default UI. And Samsung themselves are also very much aware of that, as there is almost 0 mention of DeX at all, on their Tab S9 Ultra product page (it's also mentioned briefly at the very bottom).
Therefore, while DeX lets you open up apps in windowed mode by default, Stage Manager does the same and it is more powerful as it gives you the side bar preview on the left and easily lets you switch between groups of apps. DeX is better and allowing you to resize windows however you want though.
Still, neither are actually laptop replacements and you can get a far more capable laptop, for a similar (or even lower) price.
I agree but there are literally like two or three very specific apps that Apple has for specific use case. Which is damn good. But to mention stage manager when talking about multitasking and leave out Dex was just plain ignorant. But thank you for addressing it here. Not to mention on iOS file management is absolutely terrible and needs a complete overhaul. I hope and pray that WWDC can fix this.

@@melvinjradornogalay hmmmm that’s a good question. But in all honesty probably not. You have a mini led 120hz display with a powerful M1 chip so that new price is a hard pill to swallow. I haven’t had an iPad myself for a long time so it was time. Been about 10 years for me. My wife has an m1 and I have the m4. I wasn’t getting an iPad until they made the current changes but there is room for improvement on the os.

It made me feel uncomfortable that you'd purposely leave out Dex in this review. You are also not telling people how extremely useful it is when it's connected to an external monitor. 16:10 is a terrible screen aspect ratio for a tablet unless you only want to watch videos. It makes the screen way too narrow in either landscape or portrait mode. A 3:2 aspect ratio would be better for Samsung tablet for typing document or web browsing.

Smh, this video is biased and skewed towards the ipad pro. For such a big channel, I expected plain facts and not fanboyism. How can you say the S9 ultra can't be a laptop replacement without even mentioning dex? Not all of us are power video editors. There are a handful of apps and games that are available only on the ipad and I and most of my friends don't have any use for them. If I want a console game, I'd play my ps5. Honestly Samsung has been slacking a ton since 2020, the quality of their OLED displays are nowhere as good as it used to be, and I blame Samsung display for taking a piece of sales bigger than they could chew, ever since they became responsible for manufacturing Appels OLED display they went making 100 million panels to around 200 million. The display that LG and Samsung manufacture for Apple is brilliant, brighter and literally top notch, the ones being sold to Samsung electronics have a higher resolution but they aren't as good and not to mention that S10, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra all had burn in and they can't hold their pick brightness much longer, and as a Samsung fan and customer since the very first S1 aka Galaxy Epic for Sprint, the display was eyes catching and unique to point I dropped my iPhone wishes and went with Samsung and never looked back until now. I'm also sick of the bloatware that they pre-install on behalf of other companies, so they make money out of storage I pay for and on top of that they wont let uninstall these goddam trash apps.

@@vinny7114 well the reason why Samsung will never stop selling OLEDs to Apple is because it is a huge part of their revenue and if Apple found another vendor that could keep up or start using micro LED, which is supposedly the plan, Samsung would lose a ton of money. Just like Google pays Apple billions annually to keep Google as the default on the iPhone, which is a huge part of their revenue because they make a lot more in the end
I am with him. No notch should be on a tablet. This stupid notch trend on a tablet must stop. And as someone who has used both Galaxy Tabs and iPads, in a heartbeat I will pick iPads over Galaxy Tabs as my experience with all the Samsung Galaxy Tablets is frustrating. The only good thing was my Galaxy tablets did not have a stupid notch, but I sold them and got myself an iPad.

Huh? Have you felt both in each hand? The reason we have a reviewer is for them to do it for you. When holding a Samsung you feel the imbalance, extra thickness, weight, and material, all come together to just seem like a lower quality that's bigger, heavier, thicker, clunkier. Not by too much and not a deal-breaker, but it's also very noticeable. It seems you simply have no credibility for a reviewer telling it like it is, when you want to imagine it being a certain way for yourself.

I have also held both and it's noticeable. Feels like one is half as thick even though on paper it's much less. This is what industrial design is all about. Humans do not experience specs directly like maths cyborgs. We experience a mishmash of multiple qualities as a single quality, inside the brain. This is known to anyone who took even first year psychology or even talked to someone who did.

@zoneoftech, as an owner of both of these devices you left out quite a bit and were a lot more biased in this review. The tab s 9 ultra does have facial recognition just not Face ID. When utilizing the tab s9 ultra you can use Dex mode which allows for much more freedom when multitasking and resizing windows. Both of these devices are great and I wish that Samsung had control over there OS and get away from android as one ui is damn near complete. Apples file management on iPad is is complete garbage. Samsungs native file system is leagues ahead so when doing certain work it is much better. Both are great machines depending on what the consumer is looking for.

I'm more concerned he's comparing the BRAND NEW iPad vs a year old samsung. That's not exactly fair. I switched from iPad at the S4 generation and have not looked back. The apple tax is just too much even though I use iPhone.

@@carlosk8103 the size, whatever it may be, was not the issue he pointed out, he said the weight distribution was off, while holding it awkwardly, even though it was not easily perceivable since there was a video overlay on top of the samsung device, my OCD just kicked in when I saw that he was holding it not in the center (where the USB-C charging port is) then complaining about how it was tipping to one side.

Dex which wasn't mentioned changes the game being a far better offering that anything Apple has on the ipad. I am heavily in the Apple ecosystem and truly wish Apple would "upgrade" the ipad OS.
Stage manager is something similar to Dex. So Dex is by no means a game-changing advantage or anything. Apple still has all that functionality. Additionally, Apple has access to professional apps which is a game-changer

Yes. I felt like he is Apple biased for sure the whole video. He was definitely convincing himself many times that prefers the iPad over the Tab S9 Ultra for odd things in my opinion. Typing this on my Tab S9 Ultra, and this not some glorified Netflix machine for "movie watching in a dark room" as he mentioned multiple times. The Tab S9 Ultra definitely has way more potential than the iPad and its weak operating system. 🙄 I feel as though mentioning Samsung Dex was purposefully dodged as to not "accidentally" give the edge to the Tab S9 Ultra. 😂

You sure about those brightness numbers on that S9 Ultra? I have one and it doesn’t get that bright under HDR. Samsung quotes it at 930 nits maximum while Tom’s Guide measured the maximum at 834 nits on a 10% window. On SDR, the S9 Ultra only gets to 430 nits.
That brightness figure is the brightness figure of S23 Ultra.
The Samsung has a great aspect ratio for movies ,the iPad has big black bars top and bottom and a small viewable video screen

Considering this, it's amazing how much he pulled back at not throwing these punches at the Samsung. He's bending over backwards to make it seem like a pretty fair comparison between almost equal competitors. The sad truth is that a Samsung tablet is really kind of a toy that has become so almost-good that it can really start doing some serious stuff. But the truth remains that unless wide-screen viewing is your primary or only purpose, the iPad is king and it's NOT EVEN CLOSE. This video was so biased and making it seem close.

I personally went with the 13 inch iPad Pro M4 it replaced my Macbookpro back in 2015 and I’ve never looked back. Yes I have a Mac mini M1 that I barely turn on, but everybody has their workflows and the quality of the screen over the M1 iPad Pro is definitely noticeable, especially for content consumption, but also gives me great features beyond that. Thanks for the video.
Biggest laptop replacement feature of any samsung mobile device especially of Tabs is Samsung Dex which is not mentioned at all. Dex for all intent and purposes behaves like a proper Laptop OS UI.

The one small issue that I have with the Tab S9 Ultra is the notch. Why Samsung? But otherwise, these are both great options. I wish Apple offered more options for the Magic Keyboard, ideally a black back covering, silver trackpad and base, and either white or black keys.

I love when an Apple fanboy tries to review something he doesn't understand. The tab is over a year old and functions better as a tablet. The i pad air doesn't function as well as a tablet and isn't good enough to be a laptop. It's a over priced joke. Try using a non apple mouse or keyboard on it. The reason you didn't show Dex is because you don't know how to use it. Imagine designing a keyboard with no place to put the pen lazy. Or can't use, on your lap.

I'm enjoying my 2tb m4 ipad 13 inch and I'm glad I didn't get nano textured glass it scratches way to easily. I also owned the galaxy tab s9 ultra and it's been my go to over my 12.9 m1 ipad until this latest revision of the ipad.

Small trick with the Navigation/Apps Bar on Samsung Tab S8/S9, you can stay pressed on it (empty space) to hide it. Not on Dex mode though, I believe.
I prefer the “Black 2tb nano texture iPad Pro with the M4 chip” I’m saving for it! No question!
Though I would like to see a 3000 nit display of brightness on the iPad Pro (and iPhone 17pro or hopefully the iPhone 16Pro) “both with Nano Texture” just like the Apple WatchUltra. for the future and maybe with (3000) HDR content on the iPad Pro 😮 that would be ultimate.. but nothing more than that (with 4k - 240hz) or (8k - 240hz ready) …I think for display and content that should be as far as they push it…..big fan of your content btw…thanks for the updates!

If you are an Apple fan obviously M4, but if you're an Android fan and a Samsung Fan obviously you're gonna go with the S9 Ultra. I know M4 is a more capable hardware but i've been a samsung fan for awhile and i love their eco system and you can do so much more with Android OS. it's a great OS for developers
A really poor comparison. Not expected from someone who usually give amazing product reviews and comparison. Whatever the reason buddy, please give this review another shot. The galaxy tab has way more useful features and things that you didn't mention. The video seems a lot rushed instead of being insightful.
He really compared the weight of two devices with drastically different screen sizes, with one having being extremely thin as a primaru feature

Both of them are good and exceptional. I am an Apple user, but I won’t dismiss the newest Samsung tablet.
This is a good review, but it's missing the forest for the tree. For notetaking + watching lectures, the S9 ultra feels much better. It's also better for video content because of... yes the screen size and ratio! For me, my iPad was only good for reading and checking social media.
Samsung has issues with app support, and the software doesn't feel as cohesive as iPadOS, but it definitely feels better as a tablet imo. Everyone's use case is different though.

for what the ipad pro can do.. i will always get the tab s ultra as the near laptop-replacement and get the ipad mini or ipad pro 11 if i really need an iOS tablet for portability since iPad OS is so constrained...
I have both, the Samsung s9 Ultra is better for watching content and the iPad Pro 13 inch M4 is better for reading content. Both are fantastic for work!!!

I am unsubscribing I sold my tab S9 ultra and bought new pencil pro keyboard and 256gb M4 LTE. The screen is better the chip is not important at all as an overkill for I don’t use any fancy editing programs like davinci etc. But a lot of things I am missing which I was using from my tab s9 😢😢😢 Also the money spent because of these sided reviews. Now another one is pushing the M4 chips on new macs. Most probably get back to windows and try not to see any of these bloggers until my devices says Its my time to retire.
Would’ve been nice to have chapters so I could skip the keyboard section with me not caring about it.

I have both, in my opinion I love the tab s9 ultra more and after spending a week with the M4 ipad pro, I turn it into a family tablet. The tab s9 ultra is much closer to a PC when you use the Dex function, even without Dex opening multiple windows in tabs9 ultra is much easier. The only things that the M4 ipad pro come on top is during online meetings. As a psychologist when I'm having an online session with a client, the ipad's front facing camera is just better than the tab s9 ultra by a little, maybe this have something to do with ipadOS, I'm not 100% sure. The M4 chip is very powerful, but the ipadOS is what holding it back from greatness. The M4 ipad pro is like someone bought a RTX 4090 and using a old low end CPU, which will result in the high end GPU to bottleneck and not operating at peak performance.
Btw resident evil village isn’t worth it on the iPad. The base game is 39 dollars and if you want to play it in 3rd person you need to buy the winter expansion pack for 20 dollars. Totaling 59 dollars for the mobile version compared to 29 dollars ps5 physical copy of the gold edition which contains the expansion packs and the 49 dollar gold edition which you can get on the steam, ps5 digital store and xbox store.

I have a Tab S9 Ultra 1TB and will never go back to anything apple. Actually sold my whole ecosystem and went to Samsungs. The difference is night and day. I will never buy a apple product again. Just wish the customer service was better for Samsung as it is horrible.

With the 13 the keyboard does not lay flush on the table once you have it pivoted. That sucks and is extremely annoying especially while lifting up from typing. The 11 doesn’t do that. So the keyboard for the 13 is 🗑️
why r you comapring the ipad to the 14inch samsung? you should compare it to the s9plus since it is nearer in size.

The review made it sound like the tab s9 is only good for note taking when its more than fine for digital arts. Wacom stylus has been around for years and artists has been using it ever since so to say that a wacom powered stylus is only good for note taking is not right. Additionaly, while the apple stylus is good for drawing, the tip is not ideal for it which requires you to buy a screen protector that will give you some resistance. The review glazed too much on procreate when pro art apps are also available on android. Clip Studio paint is more pro than procreate imo and its available on both platforms. The reviewer needs to do some research before publishing a product review video.

honestly even though i love appel products i think that in a keyboard combo the tab s9 is just better and feels like make ur money worth while the ipad is jsut oo expensive so an mac would be just better.

Broooo. I like iPad and I use one too. But this comparison is not well thought out. iPads have very powerful CPU but it is way too limited by software. I feel that S9 Ultra can do way more than what iPad offers

Do you know anyone like that? I wanted to see if the new Apple iPad Pro M4 is worth it compared to the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra. Both are expensive, but the Apple is way overpriced and doesn't have an SD card slot. I’m considering pulling out credit and getting into debt to buy it. I can pay it off over time since the interest rate isn't too bad, but I want to feel like I actually got my money’s worth and not feel ripped off. P.S. if I did get an ipad pro it would be my very first apple tablet to own. I've never own one before.
