iPad Air is more worth the money than Pro because of the lower price point. But do compare prices with M2 iPad Air and refurbished M2 iPad Pro (if available). Between iPad and Samsung, drawing performance to me is on par. iPad advantage is there are more graphic design apps that handle vector, layout and typography. I don't think you'll go wrong with either. If you want to use Procreate, then it's gonna be iPad. Decide based on the software you want to use. Both tablets can last for years until they physically break down.
Most tablets have too much power for the average user now... Pro/ultra is really down to a few apps at best. Having had an iPad for 10 years, I went with the Ultra, and I have to say it's great!
It's all come to what's your priorities and use.For example getting ipad for specific apps to work with and Note taking intensively or just for media consumption and and some other normal uses. May I know what did you used your iPad for ? And what's your prefer on the Samsung tab.
I don't like the boxy look of the ipad. The Ultra has much more space to work with being 16:9. I draw in landscape, so the Ultra is so much better than the boxy ipad. The bezels on the Ultra are much smaller than the thick ipad bezels. I don't like anti reflective coating on electronics, it down grades color quality. Apple needs to redesign the ice pick pencil, S Pen is a pleasure to draw with. Both tablets are nice but I would buy the Ultra over the ipad.
Ultra is physically bigger which is why 16:9 is still usable. S9+ is not as usable even though it is 16:9 especially in vertical orientation. Because some apps have fixed size UI that will take up more space on a smaller display
Agreed in the context of using it as a dedicated landscape mode device. That said, 4:3 plays better if you want a device that's more orientation agnostic. (iPad lineup, Surface Pro, etc) It's a "pick your poison" sort of thing for sure. (For example I'm happy with my 12.9" iPad as it is in ProCreate, but not in CSP. I'd definitely prefer the additional 2ish inches of horizontal screen real estate with the Ultras just to accommodate CSP's infamous UI clutter if I was using it purely as a desktop CSP drawing tablet.)
Tab s9 sounds more natural and ipad pro m4 sounds more fun. Also since tab s9 is longer in landscape so the speakers are more far apart to give a better sense of direction.

Hey there! I have a question, for uni. and watching movie-shows yt etc. Which one should i buy; ipad air m2 11" or ipad pro m2 11" (all of them with pencil tho) ? In my country the ipad pro m2 11" is 5k more than new ipad air so which one is better for long term? New ipad is 2 years younger and it will be get more updated that's the two reason im stuck with it: m2 pro price and update stuff... 🤷🏻♀️ and also is it big enough 11"? I want to buy the 13" but the price diff is literally 10k its so much tho. I would like to state that the iPad I bought can be updated for at least 6-7 years and that I want to use it for a very long time without lag or other problems.
If price difference is not big, M2 iPad Pro is good. It will still last for very long time. i still use my 2018 iPad Pro too, just sent it to change battery yesterday.
The only reason i am still using ipad pro despite having s23 u phone is becoz of procreate …. If in future procreate is available for samsungs tabs … thats when i might shift

@@rinyyp7742 It depends. If you are a pro digital artist, musician or creator making your living from your devices then buying the best is a no-brainer. I think there is no doubt the iPad is far superior to the Tab S9 Ultra in nearly every metric.
@@teohontech7141people always talking about out pricing. Sure you can get deals on the Samsung. But I’m going to be fair, if you are comparing at launch the price for the tabs9ultra and the 13inch m4 iPad Pro both at 256 storage were the same price at 1200 dollars. Yes the Samsung comes with an spen though. But support and longevity is another question. I feel that for art and multitasking, media consumption the aspect ratio is better on all three sizes of the tab s9 series. I hate when people compare the size of the tab s9 ultra to the 11inch iPad. Like what sense does that make. Compare the closer size to each other possible. Great in depth video. I just sold my tab s9 ultra and picked up the 13inch m4 iPad. On Android, there are more options for backup because you can just get a back up software from the google store and use it to back up precisely the things you want to back up rather than backing up the entire tablet. I use DriveSync which can back up to my cloud storage of choice. I back up to Google Drive specific folders on my tablet, not the whole tablet which is pointless. It backs up my phone and tablet to Google Drive, which is also synced to my PC. It's like a perfect solution. When I had an iPad Pro, it was terrible. Either you back up the entire tablet to iCloud, which I don't even have an account, or you buy a 3rd party back which has almost no access to the iOS system. This is still the worst thing about the iPad. iOS itself. File management is awful.
The thing about selective backup is you must know in advance where your files are saved. Some apps let you save to the cloud (great so no backup required), some save to the file folders, some save into the Android data folder (Infinite Painter).
@@teohontech7141 Yes, you have to know where the files are, and that brings up another point about mobile OS. You don't get to choose where you save your files, generally, although it's better on Android OS.

Wacom has better sensitivity for pressure across the whole range. Pen point is sharper and easier to see the line. But Apple Pencil Pro is pretty good too, as shown by the many professional who use only iPad to create art

When using the tablet, will you be holding the tablet often in hand, or set it on the table? Keywords are "when using the tablet". Both are portable, as in you can bring them around easily, but 13-inch is more of a table-top tablet.
You’re using a tablet for what purpose? If you’re using normal content consumption then any tablet can but if you want to use it for a laptop replacement then just get a laptop instead. Don’t be fooled by the size or processors or the internal storage.

iPad Air is more worth the money than Pro because of the lower price point. But do compare prices with M2 iPad Air and refurbished M2 iPad Pro (if available).
Between iPad and Samsung, drawing performance to me is on par. iPad advantage is there are more graphic design apps that handle vector, layout and typography.
Otherwise between iPad and Samsung, you can choose based on features you like and pricing.
@@teohontech7141 thank you for getting back Teoh, I do appreciate your thoughts, I've followed you on youtube for years. Most youtube videos seem to only focus on the tech side, while you use them for art in real world settings. thanks again.

Sir, this means that once you purchase Concept app on Android, it can be used on any Android device, every time you have to purchase separate Concept app for that Android device. Like buying it on Android mobile, it can also be used on Android tablet or it will have to be purchased separately.
If you purchase on Android, you can use on all Android devices
Your purchases are in your google play account, so you can use them on all android devices
Really hope they put that Snapdragon X Plus/Elite in the next Samsung tablet.
for which apps?
Sir, my question was if I buy it once on Android can I play it on any Android platform or do I have to buy it every time? Just like it was purchased on Android mobile, it will be purchased again on Android tablet.
If you purchase on Android, you can use on all Android devices
What about if I buy the full version for the Procreate for example on current iPad if I want to upgrade to another iPad in future will it again requre purchase or just by login I can access?
hello, thank you for the video! but i'm sorry i'm still cannot decide which ipad do you think i ishould buy. i never buy apple's product before so it will be new for me. i'm an artist, mostly draw anime/manga style and probably will learn animation too. i want to buy ipad because i'm interested using procreate. i mostly draw/work at home, even if i buy an ipad i will only use it at home. i just like its mobility to allow me drawing anywhere instead of sitting for hours in front of my laptop and wacom. i dont have any budget for now, but i want to buy an ipad that will be able to use for a very very long time. do you have any recommendation? thank you! >
The Galaxy S9 Ultra screen's brightness is not limited to 400 nits. In fact, this screen can reach a peak brightness of up to 930 nits!
930 nits is only limited to watching HDR content
@@teohontech7141 Thank you for pointing this!
What app do you use to draw?

I love my tab s9 ultra. I download torrents i playing old games with emulators and i love app STREMIO.. where are you apple?
My s8 ultra battery is bad when i use it with drawing apps. It doesnt last like my ipad pro 2021
which one has better speakers?
Tab s9 sounds more natural and ipad pro m4 sounds more fun. Also since tab s9 is longer in landscape so the speakers are more far apart to give a better sense of direction.
Should I buy the Tablet S9 or wait for the S10? Please help
I don’t think S10 is gonna be fundamentally different than S9. So it’s okay to get S9. Price should be good now after so many months since release

In my country the ipad pro m2 11" is 5k more than new ipad air so which one is better for long term? TBH Wacom and Apple are getting too expensive while a more affortable competition is catching up in features for a noticably lower price. I got a M1 iPad Pro and I think my next tablet for art will be an Android.
Buying the iPad Pro feels more like buying a computer nowadays with that sort of pricing.
Exactly, sure the M4 is powerful, but at twice the cost for the 13", its not worth it.
There’s just a few apps that I’ll be using that only Apple has and it will be for my art, music and video.
Which at the very least, is indicated by most of the Applications on the Galaxy Tablet were on the iPad Pro at launch or arrived quickly after launch

Im getting s9 for half the price of ipad pro... Im more attracted towards ipad due to its procreate and more powerful chipset... But can anyone suggest is it really worth to pay double for ipad ???
It comes down to whether you really need Procreate. There are many drawing apps on Android too. As for powerful chipset, that's not a deciding factor at all because just imagine iPad has 1000 times more powerful processor... so what?

In your opinion, is the performance of the wacom one pen comparable to the apple pro pen? Im looking at both tablets and id mostly use them for drawing. I have a cintiq 22 so i want a pen that can get in the same realm of line quality as wacom's pro pen.
Wacom has better sensitivity for pressure across the whole range. Pen point is sharper and easier to see the line. But Apple Pencil Pro is pretty good too, as shown by the many professional who use only iPad to create art

That continues to be my issue with Samsung 😒 Their aspect ratio is clearly geared for consumption, not creation. While I'll never go Apple, it has caused me to look at the XP Pen Magic Drawing Pad because it is in the 4:3 aspect ratio. I don't understand why Samsung won't make one of their Spen enabled tablet in the 4:3 aspect ratio. They have to know creatives are using and want to use Samsung products, it's not all about consumption.

I disagree. For pure consumption, 16 by 9 is 10 times better than 4 by 3. For normal work, it's 4 times better.
@@runeass the only reason to make a screen widescreen format is if you are watching movies. Nobody should be watching movies on a tablet. Pretty much nothing else is formatted like that. TikTok videos are formatted for framing people and people are vertical. Vertical format is far more practical than some antiquated movie screen format from over 100 years ago.
