That was alright man..! I had no idea where you were going, and I was entertained. I like watching folks work out solutions to problems. I'll give it a 10. Good content...💪
GREAT idea! You have found a solution for me that I had been trying to solve for some time that helps me organize and use my equipment in my small shop. Thank you GREATLY!
Very nice idea !!! I love it !! Heavy yet... portable...versatile...very cost effective...and its a use for a old tire !! What's not to love!! Very good work !! 👍👍
I recommend heavier duty wheels - those skateboard/luggage wheels will only last for a few roll-arounds before they split. On the bright side, with this design, they will be easy to change as often as you want, and to whatever better alternative you decide on after the first set fails.
@@doughaven-rf8id and how are you going to lift it onto the dolly without breaking your back? The solution in the video seems way better than using a dolly.
Well, here in England, a dolly is commonly a board with a castor on each corner. What I think you're describing is known as a hand truck or sack truck. But whatever you call it, how can needing to use something else possibly be better than having the ability to move it around built in?
@@chillstar Not just in England, Chillstar. But I believe we're on the precipice of the terms being synonyms here in the US as so many people casually use them interchangeably (like sunroof/moonroof). Whenever my neighbor asks to borrow my dolly, I always bring over a dolly, even though I know he means my hand truck; yeah, I'm being pedantic, but he can end that pretty easily :-D
Mines similar to that, I mounted it on a 24" semi wheel. I love the idea of having wheel on it to roll around, will be adding it to mine. Defiantly a 10+
The enjoyment was trying to figure out what it was you were making. I had no idea until the demonstration at the end. It was a very entertaining video.
That wont work,i have changed many motorcycle tyres and the amount of force req is a lot, myn is mounted to my concrete floor,it doesnt move. prob ok for bycicle tyre changing.
What a great idea…my dad would have loved it, made it and used it a lot! (still miss him RIP) I’m wondering if larger wheels could be used by mounting them more towards the center of the tire?
My Dad had one of these 60+ years ago ,minus the mini wheels and concrete. Welded 3" pipe to steel wheel .added vise to top.Just lean over and wheel it around to where you want to be . Still using it minus the tire. It burned away from all the welding slag!
I had 4 35 inch tires had to get rid of. I cut the side walls off and use them for around base of ornamental grass to keep them from spreading and to keep weeds from growing. Bury them under mulch.
Very Nice, If I was build one, my situation would require bigger wheels for taking the stand out into the rough yard. Oh, if only I had some concrete floors,...lol
I just got back whatching the channel RUclips made it where I could not see your stuff for a while I have made stuff for my shop from what I find on this channel
Excellent idea with great execution. Needed to put flat washers on either side of the plastic wheels. Otherwise the steel next to them will chew them up. 9/10.
Soy el único que piensa que esa llanta todavía aguanta sus buenos kilómetros; todavía está buena antes de ser considerada vieja y darle una nueva vida?... 😅
Hi, this tire was on my car. Outwardly, it does not seem to be bad yet, but while driving it hummed a lot and there was vibration on the body) You saw her further fate in this video!
Question? Do you really need the weight for working? It seems to be a lot of overkill. Perhaps adding some pearl lite to counter act all that weight. I get the height think just not all the struggling weight. Good reuse of the tire though. Thank you.

More than 10 👍
10/10 I watched the entire thing, no skipping forward because I had no idea what the heck it could possible be, it's brilliant!
absolutly STUNNING!!!
BRAVO
Imaginative solution to a problem. Well executed and it looks useful, I'll give it a solid 8/10.

You went from an idea to putting that idea into use. It’s the effort that counts and the result was pretty good. Rating: 9

nice idea, what a great base, little heavy but nice
Great idea...I can definitely see one of these in my shop. Thanks!
Yes, excellent idea! Great work, inventiveness!
10/10 lots of quality work went into this. I can tell by the way you work that your work ethic is superb! ❤
great thinking ahead ! wow! now if I just could afford the equipment to mount? ha!
Definitely a 10, excellent job.
GRACIAS. MUY INGENIOSO.
Very good idea and you repurposed old tires which helps to cushion the vibration and also your toes
Nothing like dropping a heavy tool on your foot! Good idea.

Skip the wheels and use a dolly cart should you need to move it. It would be be more streamlined and seems like a lot of extra time for nothing.

Ive got about 10 old tires i need more ideas for, keep them coming
Hi, thank you for doing a great job! I liked this tire idea. I will take note of some points)
Thank you, it's nice to be useful)
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Great idea.
You can't argue with success for a brilliant idea, very inspiring, hope that it will do the same for you, to come up with other brilliant ideas!
Not that light to walk away with your tools in a hurry😅 great idea!
This video provided exactly what I needed!
Great idea for mounting a harbor freight tire changer!
That wont work,i have changed many motorcycle tyres and the amount of force req is a lot, myn is mounted to my concrete floor,it doesnt move. prob ok for bycicle tyre changing.
440lb base might be enough, I'll try it. might need to brace against something bigger for leverage when using

Outstanding Achievement!!!! 100% affected!!! I want one how much?
Does it come in flat pack?
..So smart!....really enjoyed watching!
Geez, that's alot of work just for that !!!!
Good workshop 😊
Brilliant. I am going to build one for my vice. My current stand is not sturdy enough .
10 for creativity, 10 for complexity, 10 for functionality. A few more iterations needed for practicality.
First thing that comes in mind, when I see an old tire😅
That's hilarious!

If it's too heavy, and I saw you working hard to get it moving, use a motorbike tyre. But yes. 10/10.
Super ideka
The tire impeded his standing close to the tool, a nice watch but it's a lot of work for a poor result.
The videoing was great.
Excellent

Interesting
Good idea for some things. Other things it is really to wide like for the saw. One would have to stand farther away than ideal to operate it.
could offset it in the concrete.

That is quite clever. I would be inclined to use a 2" receiver tube to make switching tools quick.
I could have used that tire on my Cayenne, CTTS lol! Hard to find out here where I live! 🤣

I just put a very heavy piece of metal underneath my vice and put locking wheels on it must be a way to get rid of old tires

Would make a good boat anchor.
