That was grueling! I'm sure their leg muscles were like jello in that 7th game. Adriana wanted to quit but still found some strength left in her legs and core to deliver some absolutely beautiful shots. Manika held her game though, showing us she's a power house pips player able to top spin and go through power players. Beautiful, wonderful, awesome game. This is the tt game of the year. On a different note, is it me or if Manika played Ma Long, Xu Xin or another top, male, Chinese player, would they top spin through her pips even with their backhands a lot more? I mean, think of Xu Xin who eats long pips choppers for breakfast like it's nothing...wouldn't he top spin almost every ball that Manika threw at him? I know, it's a different style and totally different level of play, and male muscle against female ingenuity, but still, I wondered.
He can pretty easily, but after one point it is really difficult to keep hitting, and Manika might twiddle in between causing a sudden change of speed and spin.
