Davis treated this fight like his job. Vadim seemed like he came to win. This was the difference I saw between the two fighters. Davis seemed slow and gassed quickly.
taking clear, & close but clear decisions fights from Phil Davis, really is something... not just because of Phil's ability, but the fact that he's inclined to go the distance, rather than take risks for the win
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 He's like the Bellator version of Jared Cannonier. Athletic and skilled, has a good win to loss ratio and Is competitive in all his fights. Yet always seems to come up short in the really big fights.
Why, so Romero can gas in the 3rd and get knocked out? It's not like Romero is gonna mix in wrestling to open up the striking. Nemkov isn't gonna lose in a striking battle 99% of the time. It's gonna take someone that he doesn't want to be on the ground with or someone will manage to catch him.
I'd prefer to have no information, and enjoy it as if it's live. I think they should add extra highlight footage at the end of short fights, to disguise the fact that the fight ended early (when you see the video is 5 minutes long). Just put a bunch of extra video at the end, so they're all about the same length. That way, we can enjoy the surprise feeling when someone gets KO'd in the first round.
Вадим красавчик, хотя и спринтер. С кислородом беда прямо. Как будто мышц много таскает на себе. В ранних боях сильно было заметно, сейчас получше выглядит, но всё же... И фирменного самбо Фёдора не хватает
Phil Davis always a bridesmaid never a bride he's like the ultimate training partner for champions but he doesn't want to push hard enough to be the champion
@@Sewerax Nemkov avoided wrestling against Anderson because it exhausts him, but it didn't help him, he didn't have the strength for the last two rounds.Romero will be a big challenge for him.
My goodness. Phil just doesn't even bother blocking the left side of his face. His left hand just lives down at his side. Especially when he is rushing backwards.
Always frustrating watching Phil Davis. He has height, reach, power, and even a granite chin. All the ingredients to be a danger on the feet but he rarely is. He needs to be introduced to a new striking coach.
Yeah, its crazy to see him get worked by Nemkov's jab for five rounds. Every time Nemkov threw it, Phil would back up in a straight line and Nemkov would chase. There were a few times where Phil would bring his head off the center line and land a nice counter, like he did in the 4th when he landed the left hook that got Nemkov's attention, but his biggest issue was that he was always letting Nemkov fire first, but just retreated instead of looking to punish. Just really doesn't seem like Phil had much drive to win.

and then having a long post fight interview like that?
These guys are beasts!👊
Vadim is a Hall of Famer in the making
I just saw Davis in a differnt prefight talk. He is the most normal funny , lighthearted guy. Really decent and good natured. It was impressive.

Vadim Nemkov is one of the best light heavyweight on the planet
Good fight, thanks Bellator!👍
Vadim 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Good fight tackle defense takedown
Nemkov won every round, with the possible exception of a draw in round four.
Davis barely fought. He let Nemkov dominate.
Nemkov dominated all rounds!

Bellator should resume the RUclips Live for the event.

Time stamps in the description is good for decision fights.

yes!! A+ to bellator for doing that
Gran combate
Nemkov should knock him out
He should, but he did not.
super fight👍
I never really noticed how big those bellator gloves are whoa
High-level, competitive fight. Either guy could have won. But the decision for Nemkov was correct.

He showed no will to win.
He was light heavyweight champion in Bellator. Then lost a razor close decision to Ryan Bader in a title defense.
Молодец.

Phil Davis A.K.A oily man has never been exiting fighter.
The taller guy just started a little bit late. Should have put that pressure since the beginning of round 3.
His pressure was countered in round 5 anyway. That round's scoring could easily be just some generosity (for the loser) from the judges
