Eerie when I was 12/13 I had these meltdowns and worse. I don’t have Tourette’s but constantly my mom would throw me in the hospital and claim I had autism - when who knows what the hell happened that caused these. I had severe depression aswell so I was put on multiple anti depressions - which I believe caused the violence. I was 10 times worse than these kids if you can even IMAGINE that, not pretty. I called my mom every name in the book, completely trashed her self esteem for good, would literally grab food out of her and my little sisters hands and say they were too fat, she fell asleep crying every night. Every time I think of those times I start sobbing - just imagining the looks on their faces when I did those things. All because doctors put me on the wrong medications for my age. But the thing is when I’d get mad usually I’d go off then go and slam my door and throw things etc and eventually I’d calm down. But then my mom started this thing where when I’d go off she’d start filming or come into my room and point a camera in my face , instead of calming down I’d do anything to grab the camera , break her phone , hit her anything. Filming a kid makes a situation A MILLION times worse - no one should do it , I have proof hah. Anyways now I speak out , I am a successful teen ; pretty, social , have a job, but do to my past I am 100 times smarter than any teen. Just because my life experiences ; some say I’ve had worse experiences and more life experiences than most 80 year olds. Minus the family etc etc. it sucks and I will never get over my extreme guilt and I can still barely sleep at night as I get flashbacks and HAVE to play Netflix in order to sleep - and I constantly feel pain for the things I did and the looks on their faces and way they cried will always be burned into my brain and I’ll always have regret even if they forgave me for all as it’s been yeaaars and I’m pretty much perfect ( well in emotions aspect noones perfect. ) I hate that part about my past and myself ; it sucks because no matter how many times they say they forgive me, if one were to die tomorrow I’d go off the edge with regret. But the past cannot be undone ; and that’s why I speak out for kids like this now and help them , and I’m looking to maybe become a counselor with my career. Sadly for these kids though it’s a physical thing and cannot be treated or stopped, barely curved. This is what they will always live with and it sucks.
the mom disciplining the first kid after he keeps saying “i didn’t mean it” really broke my heart. what don’t they understand? he can’t control it, it’s no reason to discipline him
It get can very bad. Some people's brains are just set to hurt themselves or their families, friends or even strangers. And since they can't control it, the tourettes can be very dangerous. But if they get a surgery they will be perfectly fine, not immediately, but after a while
@@NyxInAshes I think what she means is that his tics are uncontrollable and it’s not really him. She got upset because he kicked her in the face but she should be smart enough and know that it was not on purpose so SHAME on the mother
I think the moms in the right here. She can’t be her sons punching bag either especially when in a state like that he most likely doesn’t know his own strength. Especially when he says he feels guilty and depressed afterwards. I’m sure he’d feel absolutely terrible if he came to and realized he’d just beat the crap outve his mother. You gotta do what’s best to protect yourself and your child.
That’s me ! Maddy rayward ! I’m so thankful for all of you that have been supporting me and Cameron through all of this I am now 13 and my tics are still quite bad I still don’t like watching this but you all have helped me from your wonderful comments I thank you all ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ruby Rosales I work with special needs kids and I can tell you with certainty almost all of them(those with tics) prefer to laugh at them instead of make something serious out of it. Making it serious just alienates them more.
Cameron has been in a few documentaries and news reports now. I applaud this kid truly. He's really educating a lot of people. It's got to be hard putting himself out there for the world and yet he does so and handles it so well. Thanks, Cameron. You're going to go far and thanks for educating people about Tourette's.
Yeah, I saw him in the one with the other 2 boys where they were laughing and joking around with each other. They didn't show this part of his syndrome. He looked like a happy fun kid and I'd never have guessed the other side of his pain. He's gonna be a good man when he grows up though, that's for sure.
The kids are literally asking not to be filmed but their parents are knowingly ignoring their wishes. That's literally just gonna make the ticing WORSE, plus the physical restraining. In many cases, physically restraining someone stimming or ticing can actually make it more violent and sever
Even the doctors ask to film them for documentation reasons and for therapy. Most likely they was recording in secret but the tic found out about it and came after them.
Beth Meyers it’s a fucking joke. I understand their frustrated and I’m not on a HiGh HoRsE. Thankfully I don’t have to deal with anything like this but that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to point out the fact that yelling probably isn’t going to fix the problem. Either way it’s a joke.
When the school year started I was in class with 9th graders, when everyone was settling down one of my students screamed loudly and I told him to not do it again. He then asked me to come outside because he wanted to speak to me. I observed that his face was scratched and full of scars, and his right ear was seriously damaged. Then he started explaining that he had Tourette's syndrome and he told me he had short episodes where he uncountrolably screamed and hit himself (in the middle of his explanation he had an episode and I jumped because he really took me by surprise), he also showed me his chest, he had a small but deep wound that he had done to himself with his fist. We went back inside to start the class, he was quite participative but his episodes were about every minute or two minutes. He kept scaring his classmates and myself but everyone was understanding of him. Days later his mom came to speak to me about his condition and told me that he had gotten so much worse over the years because he wasnt being treated for his desease. Then she said he smoked weed to calm the pain, I didn't see him again. He became "homeschooled", we sent the exercises and homeworks but they never came back. Then we found out the kid was taken from his parents by social services because they gave him weed. The poor kid couldnt stay two minutes without having an episode. It's one of the saddest and most shocking experience I have ever lived as a Teacher. And its even worse that us teachers are not prepared to work with these Kids.
Like literally I have never seen anything as close to my experiences as this video but I barely have visible tics and I know people with severe tourettes who as far as I know have never experienced this, I'm not sure what that means but it's interesting
“It isn’t bad parenting” Those people are still bad parents. They clearly didn’t do research and are telling their kids to stop ticcing. They are disgusting.
I get tics and I find it annoying when people tell me to stop or get annoyed at me the only thing for me that does stop it is my dog but I cant take her everywhere.
@@NOTgayaliann I dont find it helpful when some one says to stop or gets annoyed people should make an effort not to tell them to stop or not to get frustrated its of of there control
Cameron is such a sweet boy, if you want to see more of him there’s a documentary about him and two other lovely people with Tourette’s. No one realises the other side of this awful thing, such sweet people it’s such a shame that they have to go through this❤️
It's Will! He seems like such a lovely lad, it’s a shame this video in particular portrays him as aggressive and violent. It’s not all that, you can tell that he is sweet and just tries his best to get through each day🙌🏼😕
It’s sad but evidence can help spread awareness and understanding. I mean look at all the people in the comments saying “I didn’t know it could get like this”
Any stressor sets off tics and can start an “attack” of them which, for my daughter, looks like seizures while standing. I can’t understand why these parents would push it so far... it’s one thing to set up a camera in the living room if the kids agree to be a part of it, but following them around and setting them off intentionally is just painful to watch.
It irritates me hearing Cameron’s parents say stop when he gets those attacks or when he’s ticcing and picking things up to throw things, like he can’t help it and you know that telling him to stop does. Not. Work. It’s a response to being overstimulated, I’ve worked at a Tourette’s camp for 4 years and this is so common, along with tics resembling seizures, I’ve been hit so many times it’s unreal the strength these kids have when they tic hit people.. trying to keep a kid whose having a cataplectic (seizure/paralysis) tic, their muscles are so tense it’s like trying to push a brick wall. It’s heartbreaking
@@clark5023 Yeah, I have tics a bunch but I'm not diagnosed with any thing but I know from experience that when I'm told not to do a tic I worry that I'm gonna do it and I get really anxious and those emotions make me do it more and I get more worried and it starts this cycle
@@lavenderm9062 my friend has tics. We’re in a group with one other person. The other person told him to stop and he swore for almost four minutes after he was told to stop. But he kept apologizing and the person that’d told him to stop felt really bad.
The way he describes the feeling of going at the back of the head and seeing what's happening like it's an other person taking over makes it sounds like DID (dissossiative identity disorder)
Yeah my daughter has a fairly severe case of Tourette’s but it’s nothing like this. Some of these behaviors don’t seem to fit the criteria of “tics” at all. Tics are fairly quick and involuntary... these are violent mood swings. They definitely appear to have Tourette’s... you can see classic tics, but it seems like other things are going on too. The PANDAS diagnosis mentioned above does fit perfectly and is usually Tourette’s with a lot so psychological and psychiatric symptoms. Your heart just breaks for everyone involved. It’s a hard thing to watch your kiddo go through.
I thought of that, too. At first I wondered if it was a form of psychosis, but then it sounded like DID. But I don't know what's actually going on. It's sad, though. I truly feel for him.
When i was in nursery i had a friend with tourettes and i remember one time he started having a tic where he would clap his hands and count and the teacher started laughing at him, turns out his sister was one of the classroom assistants and she wasnt too happy about it. Dw the teacher lost her job x
My tics aren’t aggressive they’re just vulgar. My boyfriend calls my verbal tics savage mode because I’ll say the most random things in a situation that fit very well and it’s frustrating because when I’m in public people say I’m not a good person and often confront me about my behavior. It sucks really because some people just don’t understand that I can’t control it which makes me feel disappointed in myself because I’ve got Tourette’s which keeps me from leaving the house. Luckily I’ve got my boyfriend who makes the best of it because some of my tics absolutely crack him up which ends up making me laughing with him because of how stupid and weird some of my tic are.
The clip at 6:02 : It looks like she is trying to calm down taking breaths but I don’t think it’s gonna help if you keep rushing in there with a camera in her face
Easier said than done unfortunately, I once threw a chair at my art teacher because she was lecturing me about something and not letting me move at all until eventually it just blew up
my only problem is that half of these are where parents don't understand that they need to work with the syndrome EXAMPLE one girl said "stop filming me " if she doesn't like being filmed then don't blame her for an outburst,,,, Yes tourretes is very serious but some of this is mainly because the kids are upset about something (the things at the beginning)
hello freinds if they’re having a rage don’t try to hold them back??? don’t tell them to stop?? as a person who has issues with anger i have a small insight as to what they feel
I'm sorry but my son has tourettes and it is a living hell. Unfortunately no one believes the violence and rage that I have experienced and filming the episodes of rage is sometimes necessary to provide proof to the so called professionals so that they can see what myself is going thru. Its really terrible how my life and especially my sons life has turned out. There is no cure.
hello freinds It doesn’t start with the parents filming. When the outbursts start, the parents have to film to provide proof and film for the specialists. My sister has something similar to Tourette’s. I can get into detail if you want me to, but it’s complicated. The therapists need to know what’s going on, and I know that one of the specialists asked if we had recordings of my sister’s behavior when it all first started.
That part made me laugh because it was like how i talk to my dog sometimes tbh. Like ill be calm then im like "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE TRASH YOU STUPID SHIT WHAT THE FUCK? thank you baby, come lay down" just like how he went from calm to hardcore to calm again. Thats me talking to my dog i swear. XD
I have severe Tourette’s and I’ve been through all of this stuff. But I’ve never taken a weapon and threaten someone i love. This is beyond anything I’ve ever seen for Tourette’s.
I feel like it’s mainly from anger which again, makes it worse and they can’t control it (I developed tics recently and I have a neurologist appointment soon so I can get a diagnosis but something similar happens to me just like them) Whenever my mom tries to stop me or won’t leave me alone while I tic, I get anxious/frustrated and start yelling at her while hitting myself to avoid hurting her. Personally it makes me uncomfortable when people touch me, talk to me, or won’t leave me to be which causes the tics and violence to get worse
This is sign that he doesn’t trust his parents. We can clearly see they don’t have patience for him. They don’t respect his boundaries (when he says, don’t touch me” they continue to touch him.) The father laughed at one of his tics (I understand sometimes we do things that can be interpreted as funny but it was just cruel of him to laugh the boy instead of trying to show compassion.) they grabbed him by the arm while the poor boy was screaming that he didn’t mean to, and they should know damn well he didn’t mean to. Filming him in a vulnerable moment where he didn’t want to be filmed (in his underwear no less!) these people are petty excuses for parents. It is disgusting. This is why the kids get violent. They express their feelings and the people who are supposed to guide them and protect them are doing the exact opposite and they are FRUSTRATED. How else would you feel when you have a condition you can’t control and the very people who brought you into this world are the ones who are causing you greater frustration even though they KNOW you can’t control it?
@@vanessacalixto4340 yes it's does my cousin has that they never screemed and then it got somhard they had to send her away because they had a baby she came back from special camp and kinda calm down
the downside would be the decline in development at such a young age, again idk exactky if weed slows brain development so don’t take my word but def agree with you
people only see the tics but if you go a bit deeper you find that its emotionally crippling and physically debilitating. I fly into sudden rages quite alot. Mostly at home and sometimes at school. It's horrible, people sometimes just think that you fake it or that you just swear or that you can control it but its hard for us people with TS.
I act like this I get mad at something like if my grandma asks me how was your day at school I start to yell at her because I just want silence or I’m reading some thing then I apologize then it happens again but again for another small question or thing
Dome YT it’s a human reaction not an idiot move, yes not the best but no reason to call them an idiot. They’re parents suffer enough knowing that their kids has a neurological problem and there’s no cure.
Anais Claudio I know, but they’re causing them to panic and have a meltdown they’re literally filming it all and the children are asking for them to stop but the parents won’t stop
Thank God I or my kids/grandkids didn't have this to this extent! I could not cope at all! My grandson had a very mild case at about a year old. He eventually outgrew it, thank God. I can't imagine the stress of parenting these kids. God bless them for persevering.
@Werner Ernst i also have tourettes but symptoms have improved but i also feel the same as u, i have head ticks and eyebrow ticks but no verbal and stiff so im pretty lucky but i feel the exact same as u
I have mild tics(which is caused by either my ocd or anxiety) and you make me feel like im a freak. you feel bad for the families but you dont feel bad for the people who actually suffer from this? your sympathy should be thrown out the window❤ Edit: i meant mild not severe
No. Being a kid with a condition people want to exploit for views turns you into the hulk. Tourettes turns your nervous system into a box of firecrackers.
It's almost a DID disorder mixed with torrettes, like the wires are crossed. That feeling of not being that person and going to the back of the head, watching everything happen. Truly hope they can find the healthy balance for the future
@@AmberWoodMusicx it seemed that way to me too, but it sounds like you have a very definite opinion. I'm curious if you have experience with it (first or second hand)? No worries if you dont want to share, just curious.
@@chrismccaffrey8256 I have Tourette’s yes and although my words and movements don’t feel like me I’d never compare it with a dissociative disorder. I’m very much aware of what’s going on and feel the urges, and I know how to separate it, others won’t see what’s me because they don’t really know me such as strangers passing me by but it’s nothing like DID and Tourette’s with wires crossed
That’s probably just how he describes it. I have rage attacks with my Tourette’s and I feel the same way and I have DID but I can tell its not because of my DID and I feel like and anger and tics I do are just out of my control like usual.
The surgery is risky and the meds turn you into a drooling zombie. It's better for most of us to look for ways to cope instead. I play Pokemon Go alot, it gives me something to do with my hands and focus on. It's relaxing and helps me calm my tics. I know someone else with tourettes who sings and that helps keep the tics down. Sports is a pretty common way of dealing with it, but for people who tic a lot it can leave us too sore and tired for sports. Sewing help me too. When I'm focused on figuring out how to make a cosplay work, I barely tic at all. (I have stabbed myself with a seem splitter and ripped my fabric before, but that's just life with tourettes)
*After watching one video this disability I'm watching more and more in an attempt to understand it, most videos made me cry because they're kids and they feel bad about the disability. Most wish they didn't have it at all.*
Watch the video about Bianca from Australia. She got DBS surgery and it worked amazingly to nearly diminish her tics completely. Very sad yet amazing story.
Jaxon Stevenson “hah gay fuck you” dude I would’ve actually laughed at that point Bc I wouldn’t know if he had a tic he could even be racist this is why u don’t teach these words to kids and let them memorize that “gay” has become a part of his tic
"This is not bad parenting" *shows footage of bad parenting*. Hmmm.... I mean not the tics but them dragging cameron away for tic ing, filming maddie and just laughing with a camera shoved at her face
I don’t think you are in a position to judge, you don’t leave with them, you don’t have to deal with their kids, they are not abusing them, and I don’t think you can blame them if they get frustrated sometimes
This video made me realize so much. I did everything these kids did when I was young. Everyone told me I was just a bad kid luckily I don’t have the verbal Tourette’s but I would get random urges to say grab a hammer and smash a wall. I made the same chirping sound as Cameron did. I did the same blinking thing as Maddie causing massive headaches. I would get such terrible urges that I would break anything and everything in my path and then when my destruction was over I’d cry for hours after realizing what I did. And I remember in elementary school during tests or any kind of quiet time I would make sounds that I could not control no matter what I did. I would scream to such a high pitch at times I once broke a small shot glass. This video made me realize so much I wish I saw this sooner so I could tell my tinier self that I’m not a monster.
I’m wondering if their manic episodes are related to Dissociative Identity Disorder, because the way Cameron describes it sounds similar to how switches happen and how the alter/host relationship works...
It's the exact thought I was thinking. Maybe they could be confused and the kid actually has both tourettes and disociative disorder? It's probably shitty to have both but it's a possibility.
Anna Naw I don’t think it’s limited to just the two because it’s also similar to Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I experience the same thing and I cannot control it or calm down from it until it’s ran it’s corse. There are times where I am angry for hours because I can’t calm down, it’s a sickening feeling. I can get more angry from just hearing myself breathing...but have not control over it.
Grace Reynolds If she’s in your school then why is she a “little girl”? I say that because I’m in a wheelchair and people in my own grade have said the same about me and it made me feel awful at times. It made me feel like they didn’t look at me the same, or that they thought I was not on the same level as them. Just curious! :)
Grace Reynolds I wasn’t offended? I was just saying if you WERE in the same grade as her, to maybe not say that seeing as people with disabilities already feel different. I understand if you aren’t in the same grade, but seeing as you said your school, which given her age, would imply you’re probably in middle school, not 11th grade lol. That’s why I said, “just curious! :)” because I was genuinely wondering, and was trying to give you a heads up, but alright.
I spent year 5 with maddy. We didn’t talk but she seemed like a lovely girl. I know she had some rough times, I saw it but she never really took it out on the kids. I’m so proud of he coming his far and never giving up. I’m sure I would. Keep strong maddie. (She won’t know who I am but I still remember her 💙)
It’s sad to see how some people in the comment area think this is funny? You guys are truly disgusting. This is a serious syndrome and we should all respect this.
As someone with a tic disorder, something that helps a lot of us greatly is using humor and laughing. As long as they are laughing with us and not being hurtful it’s fine

These aren't tics btw, this is a part of tourettes thats like a "side effect" if you will, we experience "rage attacks" where the rage is uncontrollably bad like a pressure building up through your body. in case you cbf watching lol
I remember having violent episodes when my Tourrettes started. It wasn't completely uncontrollable like them but when I was ticking bad and my siblings came and annoyed me, even very slightly like opening my door and making a stupid face. It would send me into a rage for the next 3 hours. I'd flip the bed, pull down the dresser and break things. I felt myself doing it and could control it to some degree but the ticking would make it very hard to calm down. It would happen almost every day for a good couple months and I was always nervous and anxious and depressed. I was also experiencing some OCD symptoms since they are both in the same neurological circle. Thank god it went away for the most part. Still got a couple tics when I'm nervous but the worst is behind me.
Omg same here! Like even before I was diagnosed I was very irritable for some weird reason all the time around my family, and for no reason at all. I frickin hate having it. It sucks
Wonderful school for accommodating Maddy. Not sure if it would be an option, but it would be wonderful to have a calming room she could go to when she's overwhelmed.
Weirdhorsegirl _ it would be cool if they would have the room and like have like a punching bag? I think I would be a good idea so that she would take out some anger and wouldn’t have to risk hurting her self

We are still friends. I wish more people knew about this.. so sufferers can get relief from their torment ❤🦘
I know how they feel with the rage attacks... My little brother has autism and he is the same way when he is overwhelmed or when he's unable to communicate his needs/doesn't have what he wants. The yelling and hitting and screaming is all too familiar :/ and it's not that hes spoiled, he just can't understand that he can't have the thing he wants (ie if a toy he really loves breaks and we can't fix it/replace it, he can't understand why his toy won't work and why he can't get another and so he gets frustrated that he can't understand).
I got diagnosed with Tourette's when I was 9. Right around the time the parents divorced. It was pretty bad In adolescence. The ticks made my hands and joints swell. Noone understood. But now that I'm in my 40th year, it's almost non existent. Thank god it does often subside after adolescence. I feel for anyone struggling with Tourette's. It can be so painful and almost always misunderstood. 💜

The kids are literally asking not to be filmed but their parents are knowingly ignoring their wishes. That's literally just gonna make the ticing WORSE, plus the physical restraining. In many cases, physically restraining someone stimming or ticing can actually make it more violent and sever

True
I’m just gonna say if your kid has Tourette’s and they’re in a moment like this don’t film it!!!
It can be useful for, say, appointments in neurology but aside from that, and if they don’t want to be filmed then absolutely
Doesn’t telling the child to stop cause the child to do it more?
@@clark5023 Yeah, I have tics a bunch but I'm not diagnosed with any thing but I know from experience that when I'm told not to do a tic I worry that I'm gonna do it and I get really anxious and those emotions make me do it more and I get more worried and it starts this cycle

I think Cameron will be going around the country speaking about Tourette's he's a very intelligent and articulate, mature young man!
I thought of that, but DID stems from childhood abuse, not tics.
Agreed
I thought of that, too.
At first I wondered if it was a form of psychosis, but then it sounded like DID.
But I don't know what's actually going on. It's sad, though. I truly feel for him.
Yes that was absolutely my thought too!!!
When i was in nursery i had a friend with tourettes and i remember one time he started having a tic where he would clap his hands and count and the teacher started laughing at him, turns out his sister was one of the classroom assistants and she wasnt too happy about it. Dw the teacher lost her job x
Chelsey Gordon wow that teacher deserved to be fired, like who would laugh at a child if they can’t control themselves smh
Perhaps she didn’t even know about the condition
I wasn’t there so I wouldn’t know, but maybe she didn’t know? Doesn’t hurt to help educate her
That's not worth getting fired over
If the parent didn't inform the teacher about the child's condition, then the teacher shouldn't have gotten fired.
Thats terrible. I hope you find ways to conquer the problem. Youll get through it!
I have some onstances where I cuss, but mainly its just movements
i’m really glad you have a boyfriend that’s not a dick about your tourette’s

Easier said than done unfortunately, I once threw a chair at my art teacher because she was lecturing me about something and not letting me move at all until eventually it just blew up
Day? 😂
my only problem is that half of these are where parents don't understand that they need to work with the syndrome EXAMPLE one girl said "stop filming me " if she doesn't like being filmed then don't blame her for an outburst,,,, Yes tourretes is very serious but some of this is mainly because the kids are upset about something (the things at the beginning)
hello freinds THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING
hello freinds if they’re having a rage don’t try to hold them back??? don’t tell them to stop?? as a person who has issues with anger i have a small insight as to what they feel
No. They are manic. When you’re manic you don’t even know what you’re saying.

4:18 I feel really sorry for the little boy he couldn’t help it and the mum shouldn’t be doing that! He didn’t want to do it she should understand!
That's what I said because his mom should be pulling him like that I mean he didn't mean to do it he just has a condition
That's what you do you have to unless you can get really hurt
My kid has another condition and it's very hard for me to still understand that he can't fully control himself
I have severe Tourette’s and I’ve been through all of this stuff. But I’ve never taken a weapon and threaten someone i love. This is beyond anything I’ve ever seen for Tourette’s.
sorry about that but yes, even if i don't have tourette's, this is very unexpected and i feel sorry for them too
I feel like it’s mainly from anger which again, makes it worse and they can’t control it (I developed tics recently and I have a neurologist appointment soon so I can get a diagnosis but something similar happens to me just like them) Whenever my mom tries to stop me or won’t leave me alone while I tic, I get anxious/frustrated and start yelling at her while hitting myself to avoid hurting her. Personally it makes me uncomfortable when people touch me, talk to me, or won’t leave me to be which causes the tics and violence to get worse
This is not Tourette’s this is obviously pandas pans
How else would you feel when you have a condition you can’t control and the very people who brought you into this world are the ones who are causing you greater frustration even though they KNOW you can’t control it?

there is
But its fkij expensive and hard.
There is a surgery on the brain, but yes, an easier cure would be so amazing
There is a electronic procedure done directly to the center of the brain, it is highly risky and takes 3 hours generally.
(I have stabbed myself with a seem splitter and ripped my fabric before, but that's just life with tourettes)
there is but it’s brain surgery and it’s expensive AND it’s dangerous too very risky surgery:/

Jaxon Stevenson “hah gay fuck you” dude I would’ve actually laughed at that point Bc I wouldn’t know if he had a tic he could even be racist this is why u don’t teach these words to kids and let them memorize that “gay” has become a part of his tic
"This is not bad parenting"
*shows footage of bad parenting*.
@@temmylade2875 I will judge all I want, the neglect/abuse is apparent
It's okay noodle juice... I acknowledge you ❤️
I can relate to the rage and ranting part myself.
That’s not Tourette’s that is pandas pandas
I’m wondering if their manic episodes are related to Dissociative Identity Disorder, because the way Cameron describes it sounds similar to how switches happen and how the alter/host relationship works...
It's the exact thought I was thinking. Maybe they could be confused and the kid actually has both tourettes and disociative disorder? It's probably shitty to have both but it's a possibility.
Anna same here
My sister has D.I.D she acts the same ways as these kids
•••
Anna Naw I don’t think it’s limited to just the two because it’s also similar to Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I experience the same thing and I cannot control it or calm down from it until it’s ran it’s corse. There are times where I am angry for hours because I can’t calm down, it’s a sickening feeling. I can get more angry from just hearing myself breathing...but have not control over it.
Maddy goes to my school, she’s a beautiful little girl 💕
Grace Reynolds If she’s in your school then why is she a “little girl”? I say that because I’m in a wheelchair and people in my own grade have said the same about me and it made me feel awful at times. It made me feel like they didn’t look at me the same, or that they thought I was not on the same level as them. Just curious! :)
Didn’t say it do offend anyone jesus... I was just saying she goes to my school..
And I’m in year 11 and she’s in year 7 so to me she is little because she’s 12? She’s a very sweet girl
Oh okay I see where your coming from x ahah overall she’s very sweet
The worst part about having tourettes is hurting yourself, other people, and animals.
Well I mean if i had a camera in my face 24/7 if be pretty mad too
The camra has nothing to do with it
@@mokkabeanful I understand that it's just not helping by filming the child maybe they should focus on trying to help them calm down
Nobody cares if u wld get mad about a camera
Shirley Pollock Okay? They were sharing something and you can’t do anything about it.
@@mokkabeanful 0:26 the kid screamed stop recording me
I spent year 5 with maddy.
@Dylan Dodge if you think it's funny you have problems. You make me sick
As someone with a tic disorder, something that helps a lot of us greatly is using humor and laughing. As long as they are laughing with us and not being hurtful it’s fine
13:45 please listen to him yall
Stangers often react one of two ways: humour or violence. I'll take the humour any day of the week. Nonetheless, I get where you're coming from.
It's not funny to me.
I’m sitting here watching this and all I wanna do is help them and just cure them 🥺🥺💞
I got a tic toc ad
Tic tic boom...
Cameron is such a sweetheart! He was so kind to everyone and he's just plain out a amazing kid! Bless your soul and your family and friends!! This reminds of me and my friend danicas Tourettes, she has small and I have full♥️♥️stay strong everyone!!
This is really sad...
But I laughed when he said don't look at the camera
Yeah. Same
That was the only funny part about this😂 vid but the rest is pretty intense😊
These aren't tics btw, this is a part of tourettes thats like a "side effect" if you will, we experience "rage attacks" where the rage is uncontrollably bad like a pressure building up through your body. in case you cbf watching lol
That’s good to know ☺️thx!
Some are tics.

That poor boy Matthew at the end.. so glad everyone kept a straight face and understood what hes going thru. Good community.. well done!
It sucks
just think about them playing fortnite
Go watch tourettes teen

Wonderful school for accommodating Maddy. Not sure if it would be an option, but it would be wonderful to have a calming room she could go to when she's overwhelmed.
Weirdhorsegirl _ it would be cool if they would have the room and like have like a punching bag? I think I would be a good idea so that she would take out some anger and wouldn’t have to risk hurting her self
Hi, thought Id be of assistance as I go to the same school as Maddy. If need be we do have a positive thinking room, as well as solo who is a therapy dog. Just thought Id clarify 💓💓
Lola Diviak thank you for the info! As an OT student I always wonder about that stuff lol, I'm glad they accommodate for her! 😊
“This is the dark side of Tourette’s”
Bestie. I hate to break it to ya, but I don’t think there is a good side to Tourette’s ngl.
Sometimes it’s funny
Considering this is SEVERE, I'll consider my tics the good side
This isn't cause by Tourette's though it's PANDAS/PANS
Brakes my heart but at the same time they are so inspiring. They did not ask to have this illness. They deserve respect and the protection of the community.
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH TOURETTE STUFF IN MY RECCOMENDATIONS??
RUclips YOU TRYNA TELL ME SOMETHIN
RavenHeartz
yep. RUclips thinks you have tourette's
I've just been watching too much sweet Anita
You have developed Tourettes from watching Tourette videos that's why RUclips is recommending them to you
When cameron and the other sweet child hugged 🥺🥺🥺
I dated a girl with Tourettes when I was younger. A beautiful human.. but we just couldn't make it through the melt downs. I didn't have the skills for it when I was 18.. and she refused help. We are still friends. I wish more people knew about this.. so sufferers can get relief from their torment ❤🦘
I don’t think it helps when the parents aren’t even helping they just film it
They need proof for their anger. And they help them everyday so 4 seconds won't make a problem
Nell Ford that’s one video for proof
They can’t help In serious cases
there's nothing they can do. Just wait it out. And recording helps show doctors. So, they are doing their best.
There isn’t much the parents can do but make sure they don’t do anything extreme they just have to let the kid calm down
I know how they feel with the rage attacks...
3:00 That's downright frightening for a parent 💓
She must carry documentation at all times to prove he is their son and that he has a severe medical condition.
It said there are 4.3K comments, but I only see 4
Nvm, youtube fixed it for this channel, it must be the new policy about child predatory comments. For more info about it, just watch the latest SBSK's video

Bruh why is she doing this he can’t control it plus it stopped and he’s saying he didn’t mean it????
.
James That’s just wrong she should not do that he doesn’t even mean too, much less want too
Yeah like he’s almost in tears and she starts dragging him and it made me so sad
I can't imagine how that feels. Your tic stops and you're screaming you're sorry, crying and still being violently dragged around. Not just that, they're being recorded the whole time. That will definitely make it worse.
@@NightmaresAndRabbits I developed tics rapidly and my mom thought I was fakeing it and screamed at me to stop( she physically held me down on a chair and was screaming in my face) I have tics that I hit myself and it really hurts, it makes me want to die
