At the right time it's not a problem to find the Autobahn so empty. Especially on a Sunday, when no trucks are allowed to drive, that's no problem, for example.
Cologne to Bonn is pretty empty on the weekends but the straight is shorter than this one and there is a slight curve that is doable at 300 but maybe not at 400.
Best part of the Autobahn A2. The 40km between Ziesar and Magdeburg. There are only 2 or 3 light bends, the rest is straight ahead! You can watch the Autobahn on Google Maps. He starts at "Tank & Rast Raststätte Buckautal Nord" and goes West to Exit "Theeßen" which is 17km in Distance. Time needed: 2:45 min. If you Calculate the average Speed between the Start and the End (1km away from Exit "Theeßen"): 351km/h or 218 mph
That's a great observation. Initially due to the blurred video, I thought it was from a game. But I just took the time to match up Google map and the location of the trip, even the bridges and trees match all up exactly. The trip must have been made in early wee hours or even on weekend. Traffic was super light.
I absolutely love how stable the Bugatti looks at these speeds. Low, piercing, and unwavering - like a 4400 pound bullet. It is the purest, most beautiful conception of automobile speed I have ever seen.
How is that insane? When you’re going 250 it takes 3 minutes to do 12 KM. Won’t lie but this is rather normal and commonly achievable and done by people driving on freeways. It’s 10 km in 3 minutes when going 200, a much more popular speed. Nothing exciting really.
@@Brian-jv8iy it's insane when you live in a country whose speed limit goes up 110kph, so even on the highway it would still take about 6-7 minutes to do that

Either move to Germany, or do your part and vote officials in who would improve our infrastructure. Better yet, run for office. Until then, stop complaining that this is "oppression" lol. Here's another thing that would have to change to put us on par with Germany. Road safety and awareness, on the part of drivers. Look around you at the attentiveness of other drivers. Ah yes, the infamous A2. I wonder what the hell happened that it was so empty, even at 3-4 in the bloody night it is full. Anyways i am a firefighter and therefore know plenty of firefighters from a city directly at the A2. At a young age basically everyone of them already had sessions with an emergency therapist because of the crap they see at the A2 because of people driving themselves to death that efficiently that even their organs can't be harvested anymore. Does it look impressive? Yes (especially how empty that thing is). Should you attempt it? Depends, would you only kill yourself? Go ahead. Would you probably kill others? If yes then don't do it. I've just seen the outcome of a crash with approximately 210-230 km/h and it's not a beautiful sight. Unless you have a fetish for brain matter splattered around.
Sunday, when trucks are forbidden to drive, and than pre 8, so that mayority of germans still sleep. My best ever experience on this highway was at 5 o'clock morning into the sunrise, 3 lanes, all empty for 40 km total distance in the summer.
I don't mind at all people killing themselves: it's when they also wipe out others as well and/or leave others to clean up the mess: hats off to the guys that have to hose the bits of brain off the tarmac.
I'm 100% with you. I think, my grandfather still suffers from these gruesome accidents (he had been a voluntary firefighter for many years in a village directly at the A2) because they were often the first to come to the site... He never talks about it, he prefers to drink... Sadly, this is the exact place where he lives, i can tell by the last signs. Hopefully it won't happen too often again... The Truck crashes are bad enough round here (just another dead driver a week ago because of the bridge repair just some kilometers down the A2)

It’s almost impossible to find the Autobahn as empty as this, it’s more impressive than the speed 😅
It's rare, but at the right daytime's certainly possible
At the right time it's not a problem to find the Autobahn so empty. Especially on a Sunday, when no trucks are allowed to drive, that's no problem, for example.
Cologne to Bonn is pretty empty on the weekends but the straight is shorter than this one and there is a slight curve that is doable at 300 but maybe not at 400.
when you go drive on januari 1 before midday you have all the roads for youre own.
It's empty at night.

A dream comes true to see a Chiron flying more than 400 kph in real life. Thank you very much and god bless you
Bruh is almost passed 500 kph in a bugatti official video
@@ercapitanoderoma7411 Not in a public road bruh. This is just a countryside road in Germany, did you knew that?
@@ercapitanoderoma7411 can you link the video please?
@@ercapitanoderoma7411 Not normal road..Bruh.
@@StarSizzle Countryside road? Wtf are you talking?
I went 316kph once with an S65 AMG and it felt way too fast for a public road. I can totally understand that most manufacturers limit their cars to 250kph voluntarily. Not every driver is able to drive safely at such speeds.
My fastest is 210 km/hr(130 mph) in the US and I want to see if I can do 240 to 250 km/h(149 to 155 mph). The vehicle I was driving when I went 210 km/h(130 mph) was a 2013 Toyota Avalon. I tired to make it go faster but a governor limits the vehicle to 210 km/h(130 mph). I am not exactly sure what speed I would get really scared at. I am 43 and have hit 1611+ km/h(100+ mph) at least 2 or 3 dozen times I have hit over the past 4 or 5 years.
@@cubby091398 My fastest was ~285 km/h in a tuned BMW Z4, but not as the driver. Somehow going from 250 to 260 km/h feels like going from 100 to 150 kmh, and that applies to each 10 kmh step onwards. I also got increasingly anxious past that point haha, I mean even a small twitch at the steering wheel results in guaranteed death at that kind of speed.
The first time i did 250 i was surprised at how stressful it actually is. You have to be highly concentrated at those speeds. I am fine with 220 or something.
@@raembesright ? That is what i meant. Even over 200 every 20 or so really matter.
@@cubby091398 Dont worry, I am from Asia where the speed limit is low and fastest i have gone is 160 kph, first day i drove in germany I went 240 kph (max I can go in my Audi A3 35), and it is easy speed, the road surface is so good, combined with solid German cars, it does not feel fast
I remember that in the 1980ies when the speed limit in the US was 55 MPH, I once drove my BMW along the 4+4=8 lane A5 south of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main Air Base at a speed of 205 km/h. This made my American passengers almost suffer from a heart attack!
😂
I'd have a heart attack in a 1980es tin box doing 200 too
Wtf really? 200 is the normal driving speed here in my VW Golf 4 Variant
My (American) girlfriend already starts to hyperventilate when I go 160km... 😆
im 18 and drive faster than that
Skvělé - úžasné - perfektní ! Némá to chybu !!! Díky za video , pánové !! 👌👌👍👍
What blows my mind is just how stable this car is even at 400kph it's insane. Most cars at 300kph+ feels like the world is coming to an end, bouncing around and shaking like hell and feels like body parts are ripping off but not in the chiron. That's y it cost 3mill$. And when u know this car breaks from 400kph to 0 in 9 seconds.
Ye
No way
My 2008 Chevy Spark makes world come an end at 130 kmph. 🤣😅
All you smart asses always forget the most important point: the Autobahn surface must be perfect for such crazy speed attempts. If this car looks so stable, it has mostly to do with a perfectly flat tarmac of this Autobahn section. If you would try this on a French, Italian, or even British "motorway", you would certainly kill yourself, because these roads aren't made for really high speeds.
Thats what body weight does that's why is weigh it around 2000kg which is almost double the weight of any other hypercar

That must have looked incredible from the other slow moving cars! So cool

@@ebhole Why would everyone be doing 200+ on the right lane, and 2:09 is literally a panel van.
@@JuhQuzZzz no haha the average speed on the right lane of the highway is about 120km/h. And a Punto can´t even go that much over 200km/h.. I live in germany so I know the average speed on "Autobahn" ;)
2:34 I am 911 turbo. I am the king of autobahn.
The Chiron: hold my beer.
hold my wheels, brother
So many cars will kill a 911 Turbo S on the autobahn. 911 only has good 1/4mile. It lacks cylinders and power on the top end.
So other supercars will comfortably kill it on the long run, maybe even V8 supersaloons with power figures around that mark too

@@ertugrulbae46 thats why its good, cuz most people wont drive at high speed for long
I swear the Germans are the only people on this earth that know how to properly populate a roadway.
However, there may be changes soon
Sometimes, yeah
No, they don't.
They did a lot of hard work back in the day to properly populate Germany too.
sometimes yes. mostly you encounter Renault twingo drivers on every lane going 70 kph
That was a fascinating speed, nice to see their loved ones meeting them when they arrived at London Gatwick 😉

I cant belive i still see some posts on instagram of people comparing this demon with a 1meter long tesla roadster which literally could give you instant death if carsh at 120+ kph

In Germany, there is a right-hand-driving rule. Even at 400 km/h, someone may still be going faster! ☝🏼

There are still the notorious Mittelspurschleicher and people overtaking them at more normal speeds. He's just incredibly lucky there wasn't one that day.
