I was about to say this too! Rap unit had them props but our vocal unit didn't need any so haters can juat listen and get puryfide. (Im not saying that the rappers needed either) Rap can be done without props but they suited that performance so well. This style suit this performance perfectly as well! Mayfly WORLD DOMINATION!

Eunkwang is just a monster. He's so funny when not performing but on stage, he's so amazing. Jong-ho's high notes are just spectacular. Seungmin just looks so expensive here and that voice is on of the reason why I am a STAY. Something in Seungmin hits so differently.
Big respect to Eunkwang for taking care of Jongho and Seungmin. He really encouraged them, arranged their parts and guided them well from their rehearsals until their stage performance. I'm a violinist and singer- Seungmin's using a technique called vibrato (very quickly changing between two pitches) which is easy to do on a violin but so hard to do with your actual vocal chords 😅
He does feel more violin to me, especially how at the beginning, the way he delivers that harmonization note when he first comes in sounds just like a violin personified@eniloivahttan7
I think it’s because we all know how amazingly well Jongho can sing, as Ateez utilizes his talent in their songs. For me, this is the first time I’ve heard Seungmin sing like this, and was surprised that he was actually this good.
Longtime fan of Jongho here - his voice is so utterly amazing, it blows me away every single time. I also had the urge to hold his face between my hands and kiss his cheeks, I was literally crying. Also, if you can find Seungmin's solo covers on YT, it is well worth your time, he sings like an angel as well. Love being a Staytiny - sooo much talent in both of these groups.

I'm a Stay, and I already came here loving Seungmin and Jongho's vocals. But I'm sorry, how come I never knew of such a legend like Eukwang before? How was I not aware that such a god-tier vocalist like him exists? His tone control, his range, his runs, his VIBRATO! Im never shutting up about his vibrato! I swear, his name deserves to be known by every kpop stan in existence! That kind of talent is unreal. Good job Mayfly, who 100% deserved the win!
It's fine. Actually, Eunkwang BTOB is 3rd gen, so maybe thats the reason you dont really know him. But in Korea he already wellknown for his high note and technical. And also his fun personality. He is also a board director in CUBE Ent now, and we could see his capability from how he manage this sub-unit arrangement based on their vocal characteristic. Tho he is already really famous in korea as well as BTOB, their albums top in Melon and other korean music platforms, as far as I know their "Missing You" topped for 99 consecutive times in Melon.. He is not only talented but very funny and down to earth too, you cant watch his vids without laughing hahhaha
"BTOB dont sell CDs, they sell emotion." Eun-kwang proved it again and again. He knew that he is far from the 'idol' image, thus in one of the interviews he jokingly said that if the fans fall for him then it is "game over". In another words, Melody first biases are usually the visual: Sung Jae or Minhyuk, but if the fans ended up falling for him, they are now soo hooked to BTOB and cant go back. WKWKWKWKW.
This was the biggest flex they could have done. Just standing there, not even really special outfits and just singing. Just showcasing what fantastic voices they have and how good they can sing. Mad respect for Eukwang with the way he rearranged the song to make it fit all of them and to guide Seungmin and Jongho along the way. They all shined in this. There was no doubt in my mind that they would win the sing battle. I felt actually sorry for the other group, they did not only get defeated but rather destroyed 😅😂
Seungmin may not have the biggest range, but his vocal tone and texture is so unique and emotional. I'm glad he got to show off for this performance, since he doesn't get many chances in SKZ.

Does anybody noticed how dynamic mayfly team is? In rap and dance unit, ateez and skz give the spotlight to btob. And when it came to vocal, the spotlight are on ateez and skz but focusing more on seungmin since they know seungmin didnt really get the chance to show his voice in skz's song. As a Stay I honestly think that if it wasn't for Eunkwang this wouldn't have been even nearly the same. He is the image of experience. Even though our boys are obviously full of talent he guided them and enhanced their habilities through the whole process and that's what made this performance iconic. They didn't just harmonized, they did a bunch of stuff here. I don't know what would've been this competition if he happened to be on the other team, since they were more numerous. We are lucky for Mayfly.
Oh yeah, Ateez absolutely knew what they were doing making sure BTOB was on their team. Eunkwang would have made Its One have a 33:0 score as well. I’m a Stay as well, and Seungmin biased, but being coached by Eunkwang was game changing for Seungmin. I mean, just the way Han and Changbin, who are probably two of the people who know Seungmin’s voice and abilities the best in the world, were freaking out over him and how great he sounded... and he brought out a tone and a side of Jongho that I hadn’t seen before either. I think it wasn’t just a great moment for Kingdom, I think it’s a big moment in their development as artists.

He does NOT get hyped up enough! Because he is an INCREDBILE singer both in terms of his natural vocal tone and also his technique. You can tell he's put hours and hours of practice in to develop that stability. I'm an atiny but I feel really proud of him, he did such a good job. When Seungmin was nervous in the backstage he went and hide himself on cupboard. But every Straykids members and Stay knew that he would sing perfectly. The way changbin and han approached him and appreciated him and gave him courage. My heart was healed

He has such an unique voice, he never fails to deliver high notes, his lower voice is amazing too. it doesn’t seem like he’s trying too hard but still manages to deliver such notes, he’s effortless perfect. There's a reason why everyone talks about Seungmin and not Eunkwang & Jongho. It's because Eunkwang & Jongho has already established themselves as really amazing vocals! Seungmin's voice really shined here, he literally sounds like golden honey. Ballads suit Jongho the most because of his range and it shows here. Eunkwang knew what he was doing while arranging this whole masterpiece, this performance showcased all f their charms as the main vocalists of their respective groups.
jongho needs more recognition. to me, he’s one of the best vocalists kpop has right now, and I think with the right promotion, he’ll land himself a spot alongside people like eunkwang in history as a great kpop vocalist

Idk if anyone noticed but no one outshined the other two in this performance. In my perspective, this is a perfect ballad, a perfect performance and perfect execution. They balanced it out till the end and all of them had the same impact. This is perfection. I've never felt this kind of impact before.
as an atiny, I must say that EK is so humble and selfless. im not a melody but btob has the best vocals of kpop industry no caps. the fact that he could've outshined seungmin and jongho very easily is something not impossible for him yet he distributed the lines in a way that jongmin get to shine and kept himself merely as a backup vocalist. thank you so much EK for letting the boys show their game. melodys really do have the best leader!
I'm not a melody,atiny or a stay but might become one soon though because of this show ,I'm an Army who also likes/stans a few other groups..... But from what I saw like the 3btotb members in did little and made sure their Jr's shined more in like all 3 performances like they didn't have so many parts but did their parts really well .. but I felt like they let the jrs shine a bit more and have like more parts. Which is awesome so cool of them to do..... Maybe it's just me idk. And I feel like the reason they won all three categories is because of the bond/chemistry they formed like of u check with the other group they were kinda awkward with each other which was cute and all but like these guys had 0 awkwardness b/w them like they went for the others stage practice rehersal and cheered and stuff like they acted like an actual team so it like showed in their performances . Sorry abt the rant 😛😂

seungmin has amazing vocals which often don't get shown in most of skz songs due to the style their albums are but im so happy to hear his voice. jongho is a 4th gen vocal top idol as well. just singing with a vocal master from btob must've been a great exprience for both of them!

He did lead the song, and they all did so good. Eunkwang's experience and talent is clearly seen here, his expressions and the passion he sings with gave me goosebumps. I'm so happy Seungmin had the chance to sing and learn from him too.
Seungmin has such an amazing ability to exude and elicit so much emotion in the way he sings. He worked so hard on getting all the exact right placements of breaths, crescendos, voice flips, quiet parts and belting parts to all create a beautiful full course meal of a vocal performance.
this combination is perfect. Seungmin's voice is like reminding you how painful it is and let you absorb all the pain for you to heal. while Jongho will comfort you with his angelic and clear voice. then there's Eunkwang mending all those wounds,like a bandage that wraps everything.
We don’t hear Seungmin sing like THIS. Jongho be singing like this the second he steps out of bed. Eunkwang is known for his vocals…So, just hearing Seungmin like this 😭😭 They made a perfect arrangement that worked so well between the three of them. So good.

Idk about others but everytime Seungmin and Jongho looks at Eunkwang it feels like they are seeking for strength from him and when Eunkwang looks at them with a smile, or a brief moment when he raised his two hands, it feels like he's so proud of his sons while cheering for them. Again this scenery remind me of Eunkwang and his mom on immortal song😭. MayFly vocal unit gives a breathtaking performance last night. My heart felt like it's being squeezed with so much longing.

Sometimes, what really sticks to our mind are the performances that touches our hearts. The emotions that they always give when they're singing makes them the ultimate group for me. Longtime fan of Jongho here - his voice is so utterly amazing, it blows me away every single time. I also had the urge to hold his face between my hands and kiss his cheeks, I was literally crying. Also, if you can find Seungmin's solo covers on YT, it is well worth your time, he sings like an angel as well. Love being a Staytiny - sooo much talent in both of these groups.

I'm a Stay, and I already came here loving Seungmin and Jongho's vocals. But I'm sorry, how come I never knew of such a legend like Eukwang before? How was I not aware that such a god-tier vocalist like him exists? His tone control, his range, his runs, his VIBRATO! Im never shutting up about his vibrato! I swear, his name deserves to be known by every kpop stan in existence! That kind of talent is unreal. Good job Mayfly, who 100% deserved the win!
Eunkwang is pretty known in Korea. His skill maybe equal to Chen of EXO in terms of technique.
It's fine. Actually, Eunkwang BTOB is 3rd gen, so maybe thats the reason you dont really know him. But in Korea he already wellknown for his high note and technical. And also his fun personality. He is also a board director in CUBE Ent now, and we could see his capability from how he manage this sub-unit arrangement based on their vocal characteristic. This was the biggest flex they could have done. Just standing there, not even really special outfits and just singing. Just showcasing what fantastic voices they have and how good they can sing.
Mad respect for Eukwang with the way he rearranged the song to make it fit all of them and to guide Seungmin and Jongho along the way. They all shined in this.

Does anybody noticed how dynamic mayfly team is? In rap and dance unit, ateez and skz give the spotlight to btob. And when it came to vocal, the spotlight are on ateez and skz but focusing more on seungmin since they know seungmin didnt really get the chance to show his voice in skz's song. I love how they helped each other shine.

As a Stay I honestly think that if it wasn't for Eunkwang this wouldn't have been even nearly the same. He is the image of experience. Even though our boys are obviously full of talent he guided them and enhanced their habilities through the whole process and that's what made this performance iconic. They didn't just harmonized, they did a bunch of stuff here. I don't know what would've been this competition if he happened to be on the other team, since they were more numerous. We are lucky for Mayfly.
Thank you for recognizing Eunkwang's talent and humility, he let his juniors shine more, they were already very talented.
Oh yeah, Ateez absolutely knew what they were doing making sure BTOB was on their team. Eunkwang would have made Its One have a 33:0 score as well. I’m a Stay as well, and Seungmin biased, but being coached by Eunkwang was game changing for Seungmin. I mean, just the way Han and Changbin, who are probably two of the people who know Seungmin’s voice and abilities the best in the world, were freaking out over him and how great he sounded... and he brought out a tone and a side of Jongho that I hadn’t seen before either. I think it wasn’t just a great moment for Kingdom, I think it’s a big moment in their development as artists.

For people who dont know Seungmin was super nervous before singing but pulled it off PERFECTLY. such an angel we stan :)
He does NOT get hyped up enough! Because he is an INCREDBILE singer both in terms of his natural vocal tone and also his technique. You can tell he's put hours and hours of practice in to develop that stability. I'm an atiny but I feel really proud of him, he did such a good job. I hope he gets a lot of confidence from this performance

I'm not a melody,atiny or a stay but might become one soon though because of this show ,I'm an Army who also likes/stans a few other groups..... But from what I saw like the 3btotb members in did little and made sure their Jr's shined more in like all 3 performances like they didn't have so many parts but did their parts really well .. but I felt like they let the jrs shine a bit more and have like more parts. Which is awesome so cool of them to do..... Maybe it's just me idk. And I feel like the reason they won all three categories is because of the bond/chemistry they formed like of u check with the other group they were kinda awkward with each other which was cute and all but like these guys had 0 awkwardness b/w them like they went for the others stage practice rehersal and cheered and stuff like they acted like an actual team so it like showed in their performances .

seungmin has amazing vocals which often don't get shown in most of skz songs due to the style their albums are but im so happy to hear his voice. jongho is a 4th gen vocal top idol as well. just singing with a vocal master from btob must've been a great exprience for both of them!

It actually bothers me sometimes when singers hit high notes just to show they can if there isn’t a nice tone too... literally no note here sounded out of place they were all perfectly within their ideal ranges, incredible job arranging! As a stay im definitely falling for eunkwang don’t worry
The way Eunkwang, even in the middle of performing smiled encouragingly everytime Jongho or Seungmin hit the notes made my heart melt. He is so precious TwT

I think Eunkwang's leadership made this stage perfect. He led the song in all aspects. Especially when he looked at other members, his eyes and smile encouraged them and this made me relieved too.

Seungmin has such an amazing ability to exude and elicit so much emotion in the way he sings. He worked so hard on getting all the exact right placements of breaths, crescendos, voice flips, quiet parts and belting parts to all create a beautiful full course meal of a vocal performance.

this combination is perfect.
Seungmin's voice is like reminding you how painful it is and let you absorb all the pain for you to heal. while Jongho will comfort you with his angelic and clear voice. then there's Eunkwang mending all those wounds,like a bandage that wraps everything.

We don’t hear Seungmin sing like THIS. Jongho be singing like this the second he steps out of bed. Eunkwang is known for his vocals…So, just hearing Seungmin like this 😭😭 They made a perfect arrangement that worked so well between the three of them. So good.
You do hear it in his skz records though, especially in his Sandeul cover. You also hear it in his singing vlives. Idk why everyone is THIS shocked. A little surprised sure, but it’s sad that ppl overlook his skills.

Idk about others but everytime Seungmin and Jongho looks at Eunkwang it feels like they are seeking for strength from him and when Eunkwang looks at them with a smile, or a brief moment when he raised his two hands, it feels like he's so proud of his sons while cheering for them. Again this scenery remind me of Eunkwang and his mom on immortal song😭. MayFly vocal unit gives a breathtaking performance last night. My heart felt like it's being squeezed with so much longing.

They always serenade us with their beautiful voices but people always say that they're boring because they only know them because of their ballad songs. Sometimes, what really sticks to our mind are the performances that touches our hearts. The emotions that they always give when they're singing makes them the ultimate group for me. I'm glad that stays and atinys are appreciating this kind of performance. Eunkwang, Jongho, and Seungmin, you made your fans proud.

Seungmin's voice is one of my most favorites in kpop.. But I would like to really commend Eunkwang here. With his skills and experience, Eunkwang can definitely outshine these two.
