Believe me...they last..my 2008 has 250,000 original Miles..we have been thru alot but worth every mile. That Ford engine did it well..and maintenance was a fraction of BMW, Mercedes, etc
I think there's a couple reasons why this car isn't WOWing you...the first being the rather dull color combo. Black on black is great in some cars, but this is an executive sedan. I don't think large cars look good murdered out like this. (Just an opinion). There were some stunning colors offered on this car: Italian Racing Red Metallic, Black Berry Premium, Ingot Premium, and my favorite, British Racing Green. If I was able to order this car, my choice would be the Green exterior, and London Tan interior. The other reason you might be feeling underwhelmed, is that the back seat is missing the picnic trays. The burled walnut picnic trays were a Jaguar staple, going back years. You'd be surprised how much extra opulence just that one option lends to this vehicle. I'd have to double check, but I think they may have discontinued the trays as an option after the 2013 model year? Lastly, I know they stopped making these, but I would have encouraged everyone to get one of the V8 models. It really does transform the character of the car. The lesser engine choices do nothing but disappoint the buyers who were expecting a more premium experience. This V6 option is like buying the V6 Camaro or Mustang. You'll always wish you had the V8. The downside is, I believe in this car, you can only get AWD with the 6. So, you're kinda effed if you live in a winter climate being stuck with RWD if you want the 8.
I love the taillights on these and the long and low design. It's a shame these didn't sell well and had that famous Jaguar reliability because they're cool cars.
Well, so all Infinitis are special then with that analog clock!! Have you reviewed all of the EX, FX, G, & M / follow-on QX50, QX70, Q50 & Q70 respectively? You didn't like the HR roadster you reviewed, but that HR 'heart' was also installed in many other interesting cars... you'd probably like the QX70S for yourself, is my guess. Nowhere near Mazda3 fuel economy, but hey.
I think it looks great! I think black wheels don't suit black cars that have lots of chrome like this Jag, contrasting silver or chrome wheels would work better IMO. Perhaps the V8 would be the more compelling "wow" car?
Some thoughts for future video structure: list written fuel economy as well as what you personally got while driving it if you can. Also, you should list written hp and torque and demonstrate power of every car in each video. Aside from that great content, your definitely my favourite automotive reviewer
The tailend of this car is a masterpiece. I SO wish Mercedes would simply blatantly rip it off for the S-Class. SO much more regal and fitting for the S-Class
First, I love your channel because you review many normal cars as opposed to what other channels review. Second, totally random, but I think that you have an AWD Mazda 3 as your personal car? I saw your video on maintenance where you had the transmission fluid changed and the rear differential fluid changed. There is also a center transfer case that drives the prop shaft to the rear wheels that sits immediately behind the transmission which requires gear oil as well, not sure if the same as the rear differential oil or not. You need to have that changed too, not sure if Mazda calls for it, but no fluid is lifetime fluid or you can burn up those gears like happens to people with AWD Ford Edges, for example. It would be interesting if you made a quick video on this, as I may buy an NA AWD Mazda 3 in the near future. You can do it yourself but need a pump to fill the fluid like the rear differential probably requires.
The few I've driven of these have been...nice. They're luxurious. I do not like the design *at all*. The car it replaced was far more attractive and stood out among its class. This is just blobby.
love the style, just don't think the leaping jag hood ornament suits it very well. and JLR fitting an executive sedan with hill descent control just to be able to use the same shifter control/assembly is just great 😆
I love the back of this car, it's unique to me
Agree I rather like it’s looks
That's one of the reasons I've always enjoyed the Pontiac G6 Coupe😂😅
I hate this comment
I like the styling. Reliability is a big concern.

The screen for the air-conditioning controls is aftermarket

Just bought me one!! The best car I've driven 🔥🔥🔥
DVD player is in the trunk Zack, driver side just under where the trunk hinge is, according to research.

I've never heard jaguar and reliability in the same sentence
@@herniagaming right lol i dont think jags were ever reliable
@chickenpasta7359 They are...believe me..I owned 4...last 1 had almost 260,000 miles

Ps did you know in Europe you can get the XJ with a 2.0l 4 cylinder

damn shame Jaguar dumped this car for some shitty EV
Whenever I see a new Jaguar, I have to remember that Jaguar is still in business and there are still people who buy them.

Are you planning on reviewing a classic 1980s XJ6 (or XJ12), Zack?

Such a beautiful car ❤ from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
This is still one best looking luxury sedans 🔥🔥🔥

Have you ever reviewed a Volkswagen Phaeton W12?

this is my favorite executive sedan from Jag. I like bigger cars. Caddy Lincoln and Mercury Marquis.
Cool video I enjoyed watching your video 😊
When I see one in black I think of the Royal Wedding.
Is the disc player in the glove box like an old Audi?
I like the looks of it, but I don't really care for the front of it.
Those seats do look pretty sweet.
Great video! My dad has the diesel version
These are much better looking in silver, dark red, dark green, and navy blue. This looks like a black wrap that is dirty. 🙄
The wood trim and the cross stitching on the seats hasn’t aged well at all.
Great video. 👍
That BFB test tho
Fully optioned xjlor base f pace?
That car is the best looking in its class the rest looks boring and basic
Very nice
Dial shifter, why
The interior doesn’t age very well over the years, feels very cheap.
