Fantastic second game. Tomokas rally at the end was so fun to see. Unfortunately Mia ran out of gas so the end was just ok. Congrats Tomoka! My favorite!
Mia was obviously afflicted by a great deal of knee pain in the third game. The confilct between the instinct of the body to preserve the injured knee and that of an athelete to hunt the shuttle was painfully evident. Epitomised in the last point of the second game was true mettle from both ladies. Absolute top players. Can't wait to see more winning smiles from both of them in the future.
Great match, lots of mental work put in by Miyazaki, especially at the end of the second game to force the third. Blichfeldt ran out of steam, unfortunately. Steen needs to remove the word "scalp" from his vocabulary. I appreciate most commentary, but the use of that word is vile and unnecessary.
