@@kalel0192 Exactly my thoughts, this guy has balls of steel.
He almost lost control though, 5:43 he was lucky. I bet he shit himself.
He skidded because he let off the gas while turning.
It’s not about how fast you can drive on a straight line,it’s about how fast you can past corners and maintaining control after you losing it during high speed.
LOL. ture. Tell the American.
@@MrHowardc43 Haha I know what you mean. That’s all they know, not everyone but most of them,it’s straight line.

@@TheGeorgeBULL I can tell you've never been here, or seen a real drag race. Nor could you imagine the power of a 14,000hp engine. Tell me when you have gone from 0 to 60mph in .8 seconds and from 0 to 330mph in under 5 seconds...
It depends on the race taking place... If it's a drag race, then there is no cornering. If it's a rally race, it heavily relies on suspension capabilities, so on so forth. There are more than one type of race my friend. Just because you don't participate in that kind of race doesn't mean it's non existent...

Hi, Nordschleife local here: I was born and raised on this track, and I have seen so many videos now on RUclips that made me roll my eyes. This guy can drive, and it´s a hard car to drive as weel. Much respect, he knows what he´s doing. Forget all the big Nordschleife channels with grandmothers on the wheel.
You mean you was in middle of the track when you born

Whats the reason behind mashing x and break at the same time while down shifting?
@@TheManiHimself you break to slow down the car, and give gas while downshifting to make the shift smoother. thats why he's heel toeing
@@TheManiHimself since the rpm goes up when you down shift

@@maurish8043 pointless with a synchro gearbox. Unless you're doing clutchless downshifting. Which I mastered in a 87 CRX.
@@jeff5101 You're thinking of double clutching not heel toe. Heel toe is good for not upsetting the balance of the car that is its main purpose. double clutching is good with old cars with worn synchros though.

Bro I thought the same lol
yeah, maybe he should try out left foot braking. that could have helped him in that situation a little bit. otherwise nice driving though.
@@pkramer962 why? The traction was out of control. Braking just caused the accident due to slip
@@selcukektas5532 Accelerating and braking gives stability and controllability if you don't overdo it. At that point he had his foot off the throttle pedal and was just coasting through the corner. With left foot braking you can keep your right foot on the throttle pedal the entire time in between shifts and your left foot on the brake. So when you need a quick and short moment of braking you have your foot already in the position and can react almost instantaniously. This also gives you confidence , which could have helped in this situation, and as a bonus also faster laptimes.
