all in all this will not decrease the actual cost to the buyers. the m.s.r.p. will remain the same if not it will increase. the only real winners will be the stockholders of course. how about what it will cost to buy out the value of the dealers franchises. what about service? new car prep. dealer installed options. parts. collision. f & I. anti trust?

The last 12 cars (30+ years) have been dealer purchases and I've never been happy with ANY of them. I pay for services up front and simple questions "How do I unlock electronically locked doors?" or "How do I adjust rear cameras?" has had THEM trying to sign me into repair 'adventures'. "I'm asking HOW and they want money to answer." To heck with 'em...

It's a good concept, but many buyers won't qualify for financing through online purchases. Also, who's going to repair the vehicle? No, having a dealership is a better option.

I buy a new car every three years and I like talking to someone at a dealership having a coffee going for a test drive making sure the seats are comfortable and that there are no marks or scratches on the car you can't do that online

But I can’t take the car for a test drive. I ain’t gonna buy the damn thing.
