Galactus can alter his size, and at his smallest he can be like 28ft, or grow to reach the size the Baxter building... But he's usually always smaller than a Celestial. Like, he can fit inside Knowhere. Plus, he doesn't physically eat planets, he has a big machine on his ship that destroys the planet, and turns it into energy that his body absorbs, because physically doing that is way harder on him.
He can choose to consume the energies directly, but prefers using the machine because it's more efficient. Celestials can also alter their size to be smaller so they can walk upon the planet's surface. We saw that in GOTG 1.
@@nimzy1938 Yeah! That was naturally much smaller as it had only just fully grown, and would likely continue to grow after destroying earth if it hadn't been stopped
exactly. He is listed as 28 Ft Tall and his size is dependent on I believe how much energy he has. If he is not eating he'll be smaller, but if he is eating a lot he be massive. And the way he looks is based on the Eye of the beholder. Humans see him in a Human form, if Galatcus went to a world where it was filled with sentient beings that looked like Spiders, then Galactus would look like a Spider to them
Also Galactus doesn't actually eat worlds like apples. It consumes the life energies of worlds. So, in most cases, the planets do not blow up and living creatures don't just drop dead. The planet can no longer sustain life after Galactus is done with it.

Movie ends with Galactus devouring earth. In the final act, Doom and Reed battle while chaos ensues. Doom has kidnapped Franklin and Val. In the final moments, to save his dad, Franklin opens a rift and pushes Reed & the Fantastic 4 through. They are teleported to 616. Franklin is then interrupted by Galactus and the portal closes. Doom saves Franklin & Franklin opens another rift, but in his haste, to the TVA Void. They rush through as their world is turned to dust and devoured.
Valeria was not Victor Von Doom's mother. His mother was Cynthia, and Valeria was his childhood girlfriend. Who he later sacrificed to create his skin armor in the (forgettable) Unthinkable series in Fantastic Four by Mark Waid.

the flying car was just a giant drone that was air filled and crontrolled on the ground by someone. They mostly use them in indoor stadiums where there is little wind to no wind to move them around.
Could the title of "First Steps" also be a double entendre of not only Fantastic Fours first steps into the MCU, but also Reed and Sues childrens "first steps"?
Galactus traditionally isn't actually a physical being. In the last few decades of comics, we've been shown that every planet sees him differently (as a giant version of the dominant species usually), we as readers usually see him as a human-like being.
The name of the movie itself is going to be a double entendre with it not only referring to the first steps on the moon, but also Valeria and Franklin's first steps being babies and seeing them grow a bit before Galactus arrives seeking Franklin - who is the only being that can end his eternal hunger since he can continually make worlds.
Yes. If I'm not mistaken, his first appearance he was only 40 feet tall, but sometimes he's big enough to hold galaxies in his hand. So anything goes when it comes to his size
9:35, Galactus is usually portrayed as being able to alter his size (his form is also based on the perceptions of others, hence why his cloud form in Rise Of The Silver Surfer works despite being not being fully accurate to the source material) and the Celestials, at least Avengers Universe Celestials, are depicted as having cores able to manipulate matter and energy to create bodies for themselves, which means their bodies can potentially also fluid in size.

galactus sent his favorite herald years ago and he never came back... so he tracks down silver surfer to earth and brings his replacement, his beloved! with herself turned into a herald as well.
My theory is that Galactus is either defeated early, but they realise that the universe needs a Galactus and so Franklin becomes Galactus (like Earth-9997 Franklin) or we find out that this Galactus is Franklin from another universe, so the team has to decide if they can kill/banish their future kid, who may well already exist.

Galactus literally is able to alter his height in the comics among other things, is easily reasonable that he could do something similar and besides he often uses a machine to feed rather than being big enough to eat the planet like an apple
In the original appearance of Galactus he is smaller than the Baxter Building and uses machinery that covers matter into energy for his planet devouring. Keeping him around that size for the movie fits in better with a film setting imo, if he's too big it makes the hero/villain relationship too impersonal

They have said that Galactus is the same being across the multiverse rather than having variants. I hope they have some reference to his appearance in Rise of the Silver Surfer. I don't think its too hard to retcon that Galactus wasn't the cloud itself but was inside the cloud.
