For some reason this game and Phineas and Ferb was my childhood combination. Each environment just looks so comfy, the artstyles were truly the best of their times. Great video!
Ngl I feel like magnifying grass is hella underrated, I’ve beaten a majority of big wave beach levels with it and without losing lawn mowers. It does so much damage.
26:10 This plant actually saved my life so much on Big Wave Beach. Together with a Prehistoric Sunflower, its the best plant ever. Its Power Food effect is also powerful, able to kill gargantuans easily
Magnifying grass is great, pls don’t slander my boi Nightshade is as good as an insta in some cases and deals massive damage when not boosted by the moon flower. She can easily thin out a group of strong zombies for only 75 sun and a fast recharge. Shadow shroom is one of the most broken plants in the game if she is given a plant food, poisoning all zombies on the screen, therefore in some cases wiping a whole wave of zombies like it’s nothing. Celery stalker is an amazing damage dealer when combined with a walnut or stunion, especially with infi-nut. It allows celery stalker to deal constant damage without any interference, and can clear gargs or pretty much anything in seconds.
26:10 the fact that you can spam this plant to deal uncomparible damage within seconds is insane. As long as you got sun, zombies stand no chance... and when they crawl out again, you can get enough sun for the next punch as long as you got enough sun producers. You don't need anything else when you got one of these boys on the ground. Easy A, if not S tier.
It's def one of the best plants. Ever since i got it i used it for almost every level except for ones that doesnt give sun. Along with snapdragon you can just easily skim through the earlier levels. A lot of plants he didnt utilize correctly (including cerely stalker) and im surprised he got his first defeat so early. Back when you could play worlds at any order i just did moonflower + snap + magnifying and clear lots of levels with no difficulty
Okay at 26:51 the way Seanie said starfruit was actually so precious- sucks he went from borderline cooing at the starfruits to calling them fugly lmfao
When i was kid i managed to play PvZ2 first and i loved it, mainly because there was (somehow) less ads and micro transactions, and even back then i was aware not to pay for mobile game stuff
Yeah honestly it’s absolutely awesome so long as you avoid P2W and, depending on your beliefs, maybe leveling. I use leveling personally(haven’t beat the game yet, maybe I’ll do one without leveling). It’s much better graphics, sound effects, animations, and what I believe is better music makes it a blast. Plus the gameplay is fun yet also challenging.
strat for modern day 30 is actually to use spikeweeds cuz when a zombie walks over a spikeweed that's on flowers they aren't counted as stepping on them
Funfact, you can cheese the hell out of modern day 30 at 51:21 . If you plant a spike weed on the flowers, the zombies can step on them and they won’t trigger the flowers.
Note: Actually Magnifying Glass Plant is actually good... Just put a Magnifying Glass Plant in the back and sunflowers in the front for 3 columns and protection and use power plant on a Sunflower and just tap on magnifying glass and destroy everything
Based on the amount of physics around the plants like how snow pea turns normal when next to a torchwood, I was really expecting the magnet shroom not to work in Jurassic Marsh
2:30 The reason that the gargantuar comes so early, is because, there didn’t used to be a zomboss, there were eleven levels, and the last one was this one, and there were, like, 12 bonus levels you unlocked with pyramid shaped keys that dropped from zombies, this was how you used to get grave buster, and twin sunflower!
tip if you plant spikeweed on the flowers the zombies can walk over them without you loosing 51:41 also forgot to mention spikerock is a suitable alternative
Your takes in this video were hilarious, by far contradicting most opinions held by pro players (and mine) on certain plants and worlds. But, it was still quite entertaining to watch all the way through. Good job 100%ing this game!
It seems to be the current global version of the game where a lot of levels were removed or nerfed entirely, I did wish he played the final version with all levels without nerfs and no leveling
Man half of these comments are so valueless to the content of the video or just mean. Im sorry you have to deal with all these kids Seanie, i love your video ideas, execution, and commentary. I hope these comments wash off your back
-I'd say Octo Zombies are worse than Wizard Zombies. The sheep turn back into plants the moment the wizard that polymorphed them is killed, but the Octopi stay on the plants until they have been damaged enough. -On an important note, Thyme Warp doesn't just send all zombies to the far end of the lane. It also resets their health. It's used purely to stall the enemy as you build up more DPS and get instant plants off of cooldown. -Nightshade actually gets weaker when "powered" by Moonflower. It goes from an attacker that pierces and hits 3 zombies to an attacker that does a somewhat stronger hit on a single zombie in the front. -Shadow Shroom has one of the most powerful plant food effects, applying a fast acting heavy damage poison to every zombie on the screen. As a thing without plant food though... yeah, kinda hard to justify using. -puff shrooms are unfortunately on a timer. But using plant food on one puff shroom triggers plant food on all of them simultaneously, and refreshes all of their timers. Still not particularly good, but that seems to be how they changed its mechanics for one reason or another. -With so many airborne zombies in this game, whether they be swinging in, falling from the sky, or just hovering, I really love Blover as a crowd clearer. Plus, before they nerfed it, it could blow away zombies that were in the middle of being knocked back. -Intensive Carrot only revives plants at half HP, and is pretty bad as a plant in general due to the fact that plants one that have enough value to be worth reviving don't die particularly often for competent players. -The 80s level had the gimmick where the special zombies behave differently depending on the background music. The Punks only kicked plants when their special music played, the Roller Skaters only gave invincibility to everything behind them when their special music played, etc. The plants are not affected by the 80s music. -Didn't realize the game updated so that players can no longer freely choose the order in which they play the worlds. -I've been away from the PvZ2 game for a long while, but it seems that the community surrounding it has come to the consensus that the vanilla game has terrible balancing issues and most agree to just play the mods for properly scaled challenges with a focus on skill and stategy. -the earliest versions of PvZ2 had proper fleshed out world maps, and some of the plants were locked behind side doors that required you to accumulate a certain number of stars to open. And world selection order was non linear.
@@board-qu9iu leveling was implemented a decent while after they got rid of overworld maps. I specify because I'm not an active member of the PvZ community and don't want to make a mistake on which version I'm referring to.
So some explaining about Modern Day’s final boss, the Zombosses in all 3 levels are actually randomized to spawn a different Zomboss each attempt you do and yeah depending on which one your fighting and plants you get it’s definitely hell Also as for the Modern Day achievement I guess that not only you have to beat all of the Modern Day levels but you also have to beat all of the Randomized Zombosses so yeah that’s probably why you didn’t get that Achievement Kudos for managing to 100% this game despite not really playing this game at all and while you definitely had some opinions that I disagreed with I enjoyed this video and you’ve earned yourself a sub! Also Fun Fact: Dark Days only has 20 levels because most of the old pvz 2 team left by the time Far Future had been finished, unfortunately making the dev team’s resources spread thin and cutting a lot of cool unused concepts from that world.
Seanie you should play PVZ2 Reflourished! Its a really great mod that removes all microtransactions, adds new worlds, balances the plants better, and just in general improves on this game massively!
I didn't even know that a sequel to PvZ existed before this video and I definitely didn't expect that I'd sit through over an hour of someone 100%-ing it...but dang it, SeanieDew got me hooked. 👍Can't believe this absolute madlad played more than SEVEN HOURS of Vase Breaker for a single achievement, that's an unhinged (complimentary) level of dedication. 🤯
I may or may have not spent 30+ hours and 41,500+ attempts on a geometry dash level called Acu since I thought it was funny to jump from a medium demon, the “funny” aspect quickly faded after I beat the level in practice mode.
@@Mygodzir yep, surprisingly, the experience was not terrible, it was somewhat fun. My recommendation though is NOT to follow me because I still suck at the game
It was actually PopCap that created all those microtransactions, but EA forced them to, as they needed to add them to meet a quota of money made to keep their jobs.
You can spam the magnify plant and use your plant fruit on sunflower. Its defense is so powerful, you can literally plant sunflowers on every lane and it would just mass produce enough for you to use freely
What the actual heck, why did you call magnifing glass the worst plant,it's literaly One of the best plants, you can just put a bunch of sun producer and only use ONE attacker plant per Lane that can easily defeat zombies and Kill gargantuars in 10 hits,it doesn't matter that you use sun for it's attacks because if you are only planting One 50 sun attacker per Lane sun is essencialy going to be meaningless
All the people commenting on his voice have just never ever talked to anybody outside their 3 friend circle, like who give af that his voice is a little higher pitched
about the Primal Peashooter, it's not that the pushing back is registered for Zomboss, it also has a stun effect that even works on Gargantuars, so no shot it's OP for bosses
I have no clue if any said this, but those zombies that are carried by the seagull have a way to be killed easily. Kernal-pult has a chance to shoot butter (shoots butter on all zombies if using plant food) that can halt whatever it is for a few seconds. When the seagull gets hit by butter, it instantly dies. But I think it’s a 10-20% chance to be butter
25:57 actually the magnifying grass is actually THE best attacking plant in the whole game. Because of and abundance of sun you can get very easily if you know what your doing meaning that you can shoot with infinite shots. And its dps is busted as well dealing 500 damage and has and has no cooldown per shot meaning that you can spam projectiles at the zombies. Magnifying grass’s plant food effect is also very powerful, shooting a powerful beam that lasts longer depending on how much sun you have and if you combine it with power tiles, it becomes an absolute monster of a plant that wipes all the zombies off the lawn. Not to mention the magnifying grass allows the entirety of adventure mode possible with only 2 seed slots. You should use the magnifying grass more often because your missing out a lot
30:15 One advice I learned from Arthur's Challenge (Endless) is that Wizard Zombie prioritizes in this order. 1.Plants in front 2.Front-most plant in the current lane 3.Plants at other lane So it is recommended to plant Puff-shrooms to distract them. This priority also applies to Octopus Zombies, but do it with Lily Pads. (Fun fact:Phat Beet is immune to Boombox Zombies' music because... headphones)
Additionally, for octo, if you're good at micromanagement you can do what modded players call octo-dodging. Place cheap plants like puff a bit in front of octo, wait for the throw, and shovel the plant while the octopus is in the air. When the octopus lands on an empty tile it just dissapears.
@@SPZ-gv2on Really? I did not know that. Although it's a bit familiar with dealing with the dinosaur that pushes the zombies forward (I don't know the name). I found that during La Brainsa Tarpits but did not use that technique.
I'm pretty sure wizard actually attacks by column. He attacks the first plant in front, then the other plants above and below it, then moves on to the next column

Magnifying Grass + Primal Sunflower is such a goated combo
Garlic + perfume shroom helped me so much on the prehistoric levels
Magnifying grass is great, pls don’t slander my boi
Nightshade is as good as an insta in some cases and deals massive damage when not boosted by the moon flower.
It allows celery stalker to deal constant damage without any interference, and can clear gargs or pretty much anything in seconds.
with twin sunflower or primal sunflower spam it is one the best plants in the game hands down
I gotta a fire combo any wall plant spike rock and celery stalk and any decent ranged plant sweeps through waves
Easy A, if not S tier.
yes its so op and this guys dosen't even try to learn how to use the plant

Funfact, you can cheese the hell out of modern day 30 at 51:21 . If you plant a spike weed on the flowers, the zombies can step on them and they won’t trigger the flowers.
Bruh rly?
Try to beat it without knowing that.
Note: Actually Magnifying Glass Plant is actually good... Just put a Magnifying Glass Plant in the back and sunflowers in the front for 3 columns and protection and use power plant on a Sunflower and just tap on magnifying glass and destroy everything
i use that as well but with tile turnip and infin-nut to defence the sunflowers and tile turnip to use the plant plant food ability
Based on the amount of physics around the plants like how snow pea turns normal when next to a torchwood, I was really expecting the magnet shroom not to work in Jurassic Marsh
It does since the rock is magnetic lol
2:30 The reason that the gargantuar comes so early, is because, there didn’t used to be a zomboss, there were eleven levels, and the last one was this one, and there were, like, 12 bonus levels you unlocked with pyramid shaped keys that dropped from zombies, this was how you used to get grave buster, and twin sunflower!
nah celery stalker is crazy good, one of the highest DPS on a non premium plant. just plop one behind a gargantuar, stall a little and theyre dead

Him trashing magnifying grass is genuinely hilarious. It is genuinely one of the best plants in the game as long as you keep spamming sun producers.
Your takes in this video were hilarious, by far contradicting most opinions held by pro players (and mine) on certain plants and worlds. But, it was still quite entertaining to watch all the way through. Good job 100%ing this game!
^
Can you recommend some mods?
@@groudon3524reflourished or altverz

@andistansbury4366 they have double health he probably thought that was there only gimmick
26:02
Bro hasn’t seen Magni at its peak
Trust me, its good when you spam sun producers and grab the Tile Turnip
So some explaining about Modern Day’s final boss, the Zombosses in all 3 levels are actually randomized to spawn a different Zomboss each attempt you do and yeah depending on which one your fighting and plants you get it’s definitely hell
Also as for the Modern Day achievement I guess that not only you have to beat all of the Modern Day levels but you also have to beat all of the Randomized Zombosses so yeah that’s probably why you didn’t get that Achievement
Kudos for managing to 100% this game despite not really playing this game at all and while you definitely had some opinions that I disagreed with I enjoyed this video and you’ve earned yourself a sub!

1:09:18 get an older version of the game, let the yeti spawn then update it, then beat the yeti to get the achievement
I'd also recommend using moonflower (with imitater if you have it) because clumped up moonflowers produce insane amounts of sun.
30:15 One advice I learned from Arthur's Challenge (Endless) is that Wizard Zombie prioritizes in this order.
1.Plants in front
2.Front-most plant in the current lane
3.Plants at other lane
So it is recommended to plant Puff-shrooms to distract them.
