Наверное я бы отрезал порядка 30 см от верхней части трубы. Думаю это можно было бы сделать ножом или топором при крайней необходимости и усилил место где гнулась труба. Но заниматься этим ночью в темноте пожалуй совсем не интересно. Рад что у вас все ОК. Спасибо за интересное видео!
Thank you for watching! It’s been too long since I posted. That was the most nervous I’ve been in a wind storm while camping. Every time a big gust hit I was expecting the tent to rip or a tree to blow over. Didn’t get much sleep that night 😅

Yeah, it happens sometimes unfortunately. I prefer the sections too. It’s just hard to backpack with them. Sled season is coming soon! Just need a little more snow

Hello! Thank you for watching. I like the dinner idea too! That stove is a little small for a tent that size. If the wind isn’t blowing it does ok but I would suggest a slightly larger stove if it’s windy or really cold.
Looks like quite rhe adventure with thise strong winds. Too bad the pipe collapsed. In case you dont know this already. But i have found if i tightly roll it up and put it in my oven at home and run the self cleaning cycle, that can reset the pipe memory and you might be able to salvage that pipe.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to give that a shot next time. Unfortunately this pipe bent back and forth so much that it made several holes in it.

That is a good idea! I didn’t think of that. But yeah, I probably wouldn’t have attempted that in the dark with all the wind. It was soo cold 🥶

also, they have chicken fajita and steak fajita mix with peppers and onions in the frozen section of grocery store. Would be great on the stove.
