Contrary to what most people believe the first time aerial recognizance and Battlefield overview was used during the Civil War in America by the north in hot air balloons. Learning from history people forgot. Gettysburg was watch from hot air balloons .
Give it a couple years and we will have HARM style drones. Just a normal FPV that, when jammed, has the autopilot take over and fly directly at the source of the emissions - a jammer is a giant electromagnetic "juicy target here" beacon, after all.
The danger you went through to show the world the situation and future of drone war is astounding. This might be a historical recording for future generation to watch and learn from.
When I saw the drone drop, through the roof of that black SUV, in Mar ''22 , my view of war changed. I got on then with the Ukrainian groups that spearheded the drone program. Fund raising, and incredible support world wide, kept thousands of UA soldiers safe. They also devastated the ruzzian hardware and trenches, houses and landings. Now, advocating for 250K drones / month for UA, is a 2nd job. Great video, I've seen much of it quite a while back, wonderful to see it again. Still very relevant.
Killing another human being even a soldier using a drone to do it is cowardly and should never be used in warfare. When you kill in this way it makes it too easy with less responsibility for the action. Taking the life of another should NEVER be easy.
@@erickottke9673 That's the problem. People like you think it's ok. Seems people have gotten so used to war being so common that the idea of peace without killing to get it has been entrenched in to their souls. Here's some food for thought... Aside from religion being the #1 cause of bloody wars, it's politicians, and rich men of influence "deep state" that continue to wage them in the word of suffering and oppression. This suffering is really caused by those who wage those wars. So basically killing in the name of such influencial people of status is WRONG in any way you look at it so yes killing using drones is cowardly and wrong PERIOD.
You can say exactly the same about the plane, the tank, and the rifle. They all allowed to kill others with more ease and from a larger distance. Following your logic, everything but a fistfight is "cowardly" in war.
Ukraine has the remnants of Russia's design and technical schools, not all, but many so we are lucky that Ukraine was NOT just farmers and Oligarchs. A lot of Russian equipment in part was designed and built in Ukraine. So they know how it works and they know Russian military doctrine too. And they speak Russian.
Guess they will eventually evolve to be silent then we are screwed. Will the winners of war be the ones who can produce the most autonomous drones. China is the leader right now!?… Might start living underground in the future.
I wouldn't be surprised if the US has something that can shut drones power off... Back in 2011 during the UBL raid, there was a reported power outage of the whole area during the exact time of the raid. Rob O'Neil even commented on it saying a device was given to them by DARPA which would shut off a whole area of an electrical grid.
@@BurningDownUrHouseemp is only powerful enough for a couple hundred feet max. It’s not practical and most electronics have enough protection to block out the emp.
Now then. Factor in the multi drone control systems utilized in the US for "drone shows" where 500+ drones are controlled at the SAME TIME.....bring in a crew that operates the swarm, arm the swarm, and you have short range air superiority in an instant. - Remember, technological advancements come from military research and development, and then trickle into the civilian sector.
Except their would be NO civilian sector for drones, they'd ban drones if they could, they barred dji, from the commercial sector, and the US companies are moving towards government contracts and don't want to sell to civilians. All we'll get are underpowered neutered drone, that we have to register like it's an airplane
You'd think a drone swarm like that has a big bottleneck on the control system, it's a single point of control/radio frequency that can be jammed and targeted.
One would think, but apparently most drones are hard to detect outside of shotgun range, and any closer, by then it's too late (though the portable EMP rifles look kinda promising)
One soldier said to the other I will take your land. The other soldier replied one day I will return and take it back. The earth 🌎 quietly whispered. One day I will take you both. I guess trench warfare means the earth was right.

Ukraine looks beautiful. I have no respect for the DailyMail but these two reporters are truly amazing. Is the snippet of song we hear at 26 minutes Ukrainian?
About the song: yes, copy this in the search bar "Енджі Крейда - Враже (Офіційний Виднограй)".
lyrics talk about ukrainian witches, and how the enemy will end up the way the witches want

Exceptional documentary, highly informative and apparently with access to very high-level information sources in Ukraine. Great work.
A drone company called Skyeton. The "o" isn't required, but the rest of the letters are there.
On a more serious note, very interesting, informative and worrying documentary. Well done.
Movies are real life, News is fiction. Once you realize this and read the documents they have up still, You start to get a picture of the life they want us to live.
It's scary to think what it would be like to be a soldier in this war rather than a drone unit .I don't want my son to ever have to fight in this war he is 12 and we live in the UK .
oh he might get caught up in ww3 then, depending when that kicks off and eventually end.

Glad you folks go out of there. It is hard to understand what actually is going on. The news shows a side and enough but there is much space between the lines.
The man at the start 0:51 he didnt even run. He saw the drone coming, stood up and took it right to the chest. He accepted that he was going to die and didn't even try to defend himself. War is hell!
Excellent Reporting.
Thank you.

The application of drones has helped Ukraine survive to this point. But it does seem that terrorist can have a similar impact on a country.
Magnificent work to you both - journo and cameraman. Hope u r both well
Give it a couple years and we will have HARM style drones.
Just a normal FPV that, when jammed, has the autopilot take over and fly directly at the source of the emissions - a jammer is a giant electromagnetic "juicy target here" beacon, after all.
Swedish Rb15 naval missile does exactly that.
>HARM style drones

Ample opportunities for this to be addressed democratically.

Now, advocating for 250K drones / month for UA,
is a 2nd job.
Great video, I've seen much of it quite a while back, wonderful to see it again.
Still very relevant.
Brilliant informative documentary about the techbological way the war is being fought, and the effect it is having on the soldiers and residents.

The Pulitzer Prize Committee needs to see this video. Richard Pendlebury and Jamie Wiseman's documentary is brilliant.
Killing another human being even a soldier using a drone to do it is cowardly and should never be used in warfare. When you kill in this way it makes it too easy with less responsibility for the action. Taking the life of another should NEVER be easy.
You can say how it ought to be all you want
@@drsnova7313That's how wars should be fought...best of every countries fighters go head to head in MMA

Yeah, and in eastern Ukraine, what do you think they “feared” when the Ukrainian soldiers and western media people came along?
Toyota is the truck that wouldn't die! Mitsubishi has just joined the ranks. Awesome documentary. Be safe❤
Kinda like a net in the sky, we shall call it... Skynet 😮
Excellent documentary covering the game changing power of this new weapon.
cant see a drone in the sky without being reminded of what they can do, its no toy anymore
The drones make noise even if you don't see them. But once it saw you, you gone most likely
Guess they will eventually evolve to be silent then we are screwed. Will the winners of war be the ones who can produce the most autonomous drones. China is the leader right now!?… Might start living underground in the future.
a hundred beats per minute.
Thank you.
This is crazy warfare. Terrifying merciless.
I'm pretty sure a country with millions of drone operators - and only drone operators - could easily win a war
EMP
@@BurningDownUrHouseemp is only powerful enough for a couple hundred feet max. It’s not practical and most electronics have enough protection to block out the emp.

@@ruleBRITANNIA1690 *WHOLE
This is great insight to the human side of Russia citizens. Great job for news coverage.
Excellent journalism - first class. And bloody awful to witness the reality.
Keep your mosbergs gentlemen
One would think, but apparently most drones are hard to detect outside of shotgun range, and any closer, by then it's too late (though the portable EMP rifles look kinda promising)
@@klowen7778 cool, I believe it… do you want to live in a world where the popo is drones? Get a Mosberg
