People don’t realize how difficult it is to be on balance this consistently. It’s crazy how on balance he is with every single movement. Most players have a few movements where they are on balance…maybe it’s the no dribble triple threat, or right to left crossover. But Kyrie’s balance on every movement regardless of what combination he uses and regardless of what the defender does is extraordinary. And you can tell he’s not even going at full speed, this is maybe 70-75% at the very most? Perhaps even closer to half speed than full speed. It’s nuts
As a basketball player, the 2 things I am focusing on in the video is Kyrie's footwork and how he guards the ball before his pull up. Thanks for the slowmotion version Dev.
The biggest thing that goes unnoticed for kyrie is how he manipulates the ball on layups. Specifically, he can go one handed to show the ball at different angles but his hands aren't as big as say Jordan so he times his off hand to control the ball with 2 hands at the point the defender bumps him and then finishes with one hand to show the ball at different angles. It's something he does better than anyone.
Every part of that man’s body is protecting the ball and getting ready for the shot. Kyrie’s physical and mental game are works of art. It’s breathtaking to watch.

@@OhGeeRonC imagine this, kyrie's body with tmac's skillset, he probably wouldn't have made the league.
@@vince3139EXACTLY! But Kyrie skillset with T Mac body is the greatest player ever. That tells you everything you need to know.
stumbled into here, and this production is 3stars! such a cool idea, well narrated, little and not disturbing music, camera...dang. A format enthusiastic peeps can stand behind. Thank you for this high quality video!
2:45 that looks like an anime scene
This 6 minute video has been a better viewing experience than the past 1,000,000,000,000 minutes I've watched on RUclips. All the new content doesn't feel genuine, dare I say it is made with ill intent, and that I feel like they only want me to watch the video for their personal monetary gain. This video feels like you doing what you love because you enjoy it, and it just so happens that you shared it with us. Thank you.
Took years before he finally released the video. You can see Dev was a little thicker around this time 😂.
Edit. Not everything should be taken perversely. Y'all need to grow up. It was meant as a compliment to Dev now because he slimmed down, losing probably 10-15 lbs since this video was taken.
Pause
I don’t really watch dev videos but his videos pop up on my feed but yeah this video is old he just re uploaded this one I seen this one a while ago for sure 😂
U tryna flirt?
Probably had to clear it with Kyrie.
No Diddy
While I’m still drooling that you got Kyrie on here, when you said “and his arms are longer than I thought they were” you had me rollin. Great video!
Those easy shots getting to your spot is all Mike used to do and people say he can’t play today
nobody says mike can't play today lol literally nobody.
@@vince3139 a lot of people say it. I’ve heard it many times
I'm a brazilian fan and I've been watching this channel since 2019, for me it is the best basketball channel in the youtube. I'm happy to see how far In The Lab is going :)
bruce lee of basketball.
"makes you work so hard on offense, that it almost feels like he is playing defense." *** EXACTLY (speaking from experience)
Been waiting two years for this to drop😭🙏🏾
The whole videos been out
Dis not the hol thing tho

yo man, iam a GSW fan and what this dude did on 2016 NBA Finals was insane. He is a beast
the greatest pound for pound ever
Easily.
That's AI
@@Areyoushell every NBA player says kyrie better
ever. the real 🐐
@@Areyoushellit’s 2024. Move on. AI ain’t got nothing on Kyrie
GOAT in both Kyrue and Dev. Great content brother
The shot at 1:25... made me exhale and say oh my god
Kyrie was hand checking when he was playing D. It feels like a lot of pros do this because they're too proud to get beat by non-pros.
or maybe that's just how everyone plays without a ref
@vince3139 Even with a ref, you can get away with it if it's not too obvious
Him talking to hesi how hesi talks to everyone else is a crazy sight😂😂
Ky will mos def talk to you if you start
LMAO you rank Kyrie like he was trying. Dude was going half speed. lol
He's gotta make his biggest moment ever be something more than it is of course lol to Kyrie this is just another average workout
What’s crazy is he said Kyrie was coming off that injusry so he still hurt going half spped
@@NoreagaMan I wouldn't even say it was an average workout. It was like playing with his children.. the guy started the video by saying he was Injured and underweight. He was just getting his feet wet. Pretty funny. What do the kids say now a days? There are levels to this. Hahah so cringe.
@@NoreagaManI mean yeah running 1s against a perennial all-star PG would be a big moment for most ppl. You acting like you wouldn’t be gasing this up.
@@NoreagaMan It's *Kyrie Fucken Irving*! Of course its going to be most hoopers' biggest moment ever, stop fronting for internet likes LOL
Kyrie Irving literally the definition of NBA level talent. Whole different league
We Finally Getting DEV vs KYRIE !??
They alr played
@@CanadaMadeCaleb ik but they never uploaded the video on RUclips, only on the App. I thought this was it.
Kyrie killing em
Kyrie’s game is beautiful
Watching someone being so good at his craft is such a treat
Bruh the commentary had me dead when you start talking bout his finishing 😂😂
Most SKILLED player to play in the A…kobe is a close 2nd
By far the Best episode, wild seeing you play him.
If Oliver hand checks then what does Dev do?😂
His ability to mentally and physically do transferring moves so well on the court with his movements and body control allows him to play both sides very crafty even on defense he knows how to move around and rotate well that’s why he’s so hard to predict on offense
Skill wise, Kyrie is easily the most skillful player to ever exist. No one even comes close to this dude. There is nothing he can’t do and he does it comfortably as well. I’m so glad he had such success in Dallas this year. He took a step back and played being a role 2nd option player. Probably the best version of Kyrie we’ve seen because of it.
