Don't know why I am so compelled to comment but I just can't help myself with this video... I wish I could get behind these hacks but I can't. I found it to be more valuable to actually learn my machine. Many of the crooked line and other machine hacks could be solved by learning to properly adjust your machine for the project you're creating. Being able to properly adjust or perform minor repairs on your machine leads to more projects turning out as you've pictured in your head... Or at least keeps plastic straws and yarn from finding its way into the workings and creating larger problems than just a need to slow down and produce quality work. I know. No need to hate on me or respond with ugly comments... I'm not against these hacks if you need a one off quick fix emergency solution. Just as long term solutions. That's all. Nothing else.
It would be easier to follow if you would either say or put on screen what tip you're gonna show & SLOW DOWN. We're not all robots that can compute this so quickly😣👍
Great Tips!!! Not sure that I quite agree with the other comments re: speed. For myself, I would prefer a short line of text to identify the tip (i.e."Tighten the Wrists of a Sweater") with a pause so _we_ can hit pause, go to settings & slow it down. 😉 {Some of us "older" ladies get dizzy watching an entire video at ½ or ¼ speed.} 😉
You can press the K key (or the spacebar) to stop and restart the video, and use the J key to go back 10 seconds and the L key to go forward 10 seconds.
I agree with what the name Skeeter post on they’re comment. If you could possibly talk through your instructions, or post on what you are doing on the The steps that you take it is easier to do it the way you are showing. Some of your things that you were showing on your video clip are easy ways of doing things. Most people could understand it, but a lot of people that has very little knowledge of sewing 🧵 would not know what you are trying to show in your video clip. Thank You. 🥰
I wish I knew some of these at the height of my sewing when I was making my clothes back in Jr and Sr high in the 70s. The newest fangled thing at the time was "invisible" zippers.
I agree. You gotta slow it down so we can try to pay attention to each tip. Film them more personable, giving more time per tip. Even if you have to film more. People out here really want to use the tips but ya just gotta slow it down. Otherwise, why bother with it.

Great Tips!!! 1. Please don't cut corners when showing tips! Fixing the blue sweater @ 14:00 was confusing because you didn't show enough of the process! We saw you fix the first dropped stitch (kind of) & the you skipped over showing *exactly* how you integrated the other stitches into the fix. We need to see at least 5 or 6 stitches to have a clear idea of how you did it. 2. Not sure that I quite agree with other comments re: speed. For myself, I would prefer to see a short line of text to identify the tip (i.e."Tighten Loose Sweater Wrists") with a pause so _we_ can hit pause, go to settings & slow it down. 😉 {Some of us "older" ladies get dizzy watching an entire video at ½ or ¼ speed. I imagine some younger ladies feel the same way! In addition, @ ¼ speed, a 15-min video would take an HOUR to watch!} 😉
Sorry I couldn't see the last one clearly, with the next video images hiding it. Some were too quickly filmed for me even when stopping the video, but others were very helpful!

You can set the speed to be slower in the options. They were very, very fast in this one haha
I went to the settings ( cog wheel icon) and changed the playback speed .
Great Tips!!!

@@StellaIGuess I will say watching the first one with the speed slowed down makes it sound like a horror movie ha

Usually these 5 minute hacks tend to be utter nonsense, but these are actually pretty good!
Great ideas, but TOO FAST!!!

Same here. I started sewing in high school, also. The late 60s to early 70s. We didn't have much money and making my clothes gave me better options.
Muy bueno Este tutorial

Wow! I might have to go through and mark the times of what I plan to use. Thanks for this. I’m sure it took tons of work and was expensive.

Why'd they sew a hotdog? Just to illustrate that stitch?
