The banning of sky lanterns in CM must be a very recent thing. Up until 2 years ago, I visited that great city every New Years and the sky was totally full of them. In fact the CM International Airport would suspend flights to and from the airport starting late afternoon until the next day. Anyways, the tops of houses and streets were very messy the next day (and even some burned up markets), but it was sure alot of fun at the time. 😂
