WHY EXPLOIT THESE CHILDREN ON A YOU TUBE VIDEO -- THE TITLE IS ESPECIALLY CREEPY USING THE TERM " MELTDOWNS" . NOT COOL OF THE JUDGES/COACHES EATING CHIPS, SOUNDING TOO JUDGEMENTAL AND NOT LOOKING FOCUSED.👎
Reason behind the young athletes not listening and learning is from the lack of leadership in coaching. As I former cheerleading coach and collegiate cheerleader it’s better to show and teach physically with the athletes for better performance and ability! I don’t agree with coaches and judges who are in no physical shape and form to tell and judge without having the ability to physically preform a skill let alone verbally request a skill from a athlete that they CANNOT PREFORM themselves!
ALSO, how tf are you going to sit on your ass yelling at me if you cannot execute this, or at a minimum STAND UP. As a former coach, I quit the minute I could no longer tumble as much as I wanted them to- I was aging, I was sore 🤣 but these kids need us to move with them.
@@esseaem1451 you can tell by looking at the coach in the black shirt, she knows what she’s doing and how to do what they’re doing. Judging by these comments a lot of these girls are regulars so I don’t think they really need the coaches to show them how to do things. It’s just the sticking they seem to be reminding them of a lot. (Just my opinion, I’m not a coach or a cheerleader just a gymnast lol)

my heart is hurting for these kids. There is zero leadership here for them. It's like they are just being barked at. I was a very serious athlete, and this is NOT how you build a team of any sort. There is such potential for lifelong strength and character. I'm so old that I still think Bobby Knight was one of the best coaches ever & he was the epitome of tough as nails and take no crap. Why this is a try out and not a hand holding contest. Obviously you guys think the goal of a sport is to be in last place. I do not see anyone yelling. Basically the acoustic of gym make everything sound louder and it picks up everything so there are lots of backgrounds noise especially when other are talking. Meanwhile kids are not smile tells me they are taking this a lot more serious than you do, because I guess you just think cheerleaders are supposed to just stand out there and be pretty or something. Meanwhile Bobby Knight was alway screaming at his player all the time. Also if you were a serious athlete you would know how try out work. @The.real.marrie That’s not an excuse if you have a attitude like that you can fix it having an attitude from your guardian isn’t a excuse to keep doing it ..
These girls are talented. I’m concerned that they can tumble pretty well, but their jumps aren’t good. Lots of stretching and technique classes would help.
The form on every one of these girls is horrendous. And the coaches aren’t giving them valid corrections or feedback to fix their form. Pause the video the moment their hands touch in a back handspring and you will see what I’m talking about. Wrong approach. Bhs not long enough. Undercutting. Hands out or in etc. it’s not that they are “bending their legs” or not keeping them together. It all starts with how they sit…..How they reach ….how they jump and where their hands are placed. Their legs bend because they have to based on what their back and shoulders and gonna do when they jump. They all throw their heads back. They are just throwing the skills. Not executing them safely. This gym needs a qualified tumbling coach to come in and help these girls. Positively
And everything you’ve pointed out also contributes to the “stick it, why are you walking.” They’re walking to avoid falling because literally none of them are properly executing these and they’re landing off kilter.
Y’all eating and not even coaching right… then y’all yelling at these girls like all you have to do is use a calm voice not yell at them, yell at them when needed to not just for no reason.

To prevent an injury. It's critical to stay tight for real. The injuries that come with this is serious. They've got to be in point. Can't lag in strength or tightening up. Especially when up in the air like that. They must be beginners at this. They'll get better in time. Definetly got to be paying attention.
Cheer is the sport with the most injuries. It's worse than football. Falling from the top of a tower can be deadly. Missing a handspring or flip can result in a lifetime of back/neck pain. From watching a few of CUC videos, I'm now understanding and agreeing with a lot of the comments on their videos. The new faces as well as the old faces just don't follow up with having discipline when it comes to practice. Old habits are constantly repeating themselves; just at the first 5 minutes into the video and Coach Black has had to tell them finish clean numerous times, despite her telling the girl that ent before them. The attitudes is another thing, my gosh. It's honestly exhausting to watch. The girls have great skills but the just wont hone them. Those that do, amazing job to them. We as viewers get on average 20- 25 minutes of footage to watch, just imagine whats its like in real time. What kind of tryouts is this? I've been to many tryouts myself along with taking kids to tryouts amd I've never seen coaches just sitting and telling ppl what to do. They usually get up amd show a person what to do and then the kids do it. Seems a bit lazy on the coaches part
As a comp cheerleader who takes it seriously some / most of their jumps just made me cringe most of their legs were bend and some were barely off the ground and most of them never clean at the end. ( no hate )
Great posture when they do there jumps, stunts and when they tumble will prevent them from injury! So they need to be tight point toes and keep there heads up! But overall there doing great I miss and love cheerleading especially competitive❤

12:18 she’s so clean !
Those 2 little girls were amazing I’m impressed I couldn’t do round offs or back hand springs until I was 8 and those girls look younger
Lil baby In the beggining was eating .
Good job Keri 🏆
