If you feel like having too many spare fingers, eyes and other body parts, just go ahead and do what you have just seen. Otherwise, do NOT use a cutting disc for grinding and wear gloves while your hands come close to a rotating power tool.

Do that if your safety doesn’t mean anything to you. But if you care about your safety you will choose a different way to cut wood. I consider myself an expert working on this type of polisher, its rotation speed is more than 10,000 rpm, I always operate it with only one hand, something that I do not recommend if you do not have much strength in your hand and dexterity to avoid that if a disc breaks, you will not be cause injuries, years ago I saw a wood cutting disc for that type of machine, I had an employee who always forbade him from using the machine even if it was with a polishing disc, and even less with a metal cutting disc, one day he told me that I had bought one of those machines, a disc for cutting wood. Concerned, I told him not to use that disc in a machine that rotates at that speed. He responded that he also had a lot of strength in his hand since he had an 8 dan black belt in karate. and contact fighting, the result of not listening to me was four fingers cut to the bone, multiple surgeries for five years, he still hasn't recovered his grip with that hand well, he lost his full contact career, now I'm fine a video from an ignorant person who Explains how to cut off fingers, face and possibly death all for likes?
What a horrible story, dudes disrespect tools and machines constantly specially the not using a saw blade in an angle grinder, these work by friction not the sharped teeth so they will get stuck to the material and blow up or as in your experience you can loose control of the tool... I am very cautious when using power tools the moment the cut is not smooth or gets noisy I stop immediately and I've seen guys trying to do it faster or applying more pressure that is just not risky but wears off the tool faster as well, the other day I was drill a hole in a wooden frame attached to a concrete wall and I was having a hard time probably the drill bit was blunt already and I thought is just a little more I will get rid of the drill bit after this and somehow it stuck to the wood and instead of spinning the drill began to spin while I was holding it for just 1 second, the result: it twisted my forearm and it hurted bad for 1 whole day it wasn't worse just because the trigger was released immediately but if you use a switch and can't stop the tool 💀
so in short... 1. angle grinders are ONLY for polishing metal (or grinding off rough edges of metal) and 2. wood rotary saws operate at lower RPM for safety reasons (eg the kind of thick material wood is, is guaranteed to send darts of wood at your face and eyes at higher rpms) thanks: as an engineer, i can safely conclude you just posted the most important information i've ever read on the internet. x

Only thing he did wrong here was putting the safety cover back on, I always take them off and throw them away, he also should have left the thing squared off so it will cut everything
They are still fighting for his life... but after that "The show must go on" and the rest of the episodes with Denny Danger shall be filmed also. Probably with the title; "Do it yourself projects by Denny Danger" episode "Rest in pieces".
Many videos on RUclips show life-threatening "strokes of genius", such as "show welding", where the material is only spotted because it looks great, but no fusion takes place. Or the genius who lifts his self-built 600kg welding table with a jack and then it almost kills him. In many videos there should be an insert saying "Do not copy, danger to life". This also applies to this stroke of genius with the homemade saw disc, short cant or hard material and the stuff flies around your ears in the truest sense of the word.
He's using a cutting disc made specifically for cutting metal to make a "homemade" dodgy disk. The whole point of those specifically made disk's U buy is when they shatter they don't kill or mame.
You must have zero experience doing work in any type of blue collar trade. This is dangerous and comically inefficient. Unless civilization has totally collapsed and cutting discs no longer exist, this isn't a solution to any problem.
Why didn't you draw the outer circle when drawing the middle circle on the iron sheet? To draw the outer circle, do you have to fix the iron sheet on the milling machine and then draw a line around it?!
The way he did it, accomplished 2 details: 1.) That the outer disc is more certainly equal distant to the center of the circle, thereby will be more reliable & smooth cutting. 2.) By marking the second circle the way he did, also shortens the length of the blade, taking out a lot of flimsiness, play, or any possible wobble.
Absolutely brilliant, If you live somewhere where spares are not readily available like a war zone (Lets say Gaza or something)or an embargoed country but still need to be able to fix stuff with limited resources , well done , to many Westerners on here with shops a drive not too far away or Internet delivery options, thanks.
No you won't, if safety and care is taken. Similar things, home made by Techs and Craftsman, are all over all kinds of jobsites. No more or less safe than anything I've ever seen, based on history.
And they are 1000s of injuries each year from these types of modifications. Ever wonder why there isn't a wood blade or chainsaw blade made for an angle grinder? It's because it's super dangerous
Duh, that's why everyone has agreed this was designed to cut wood, not mdf, not metal, just ply wood. It works extremely well for what he intended it for. It's those who don't know how to use the tool properly, who end up cutting something with a wrong disc, it binding up, & then causing injury. If you've never studied using the tool, don't use it.
@@RandallHirt I use different kind of tools and have experimented different kind of cutting tools too. I'm a doer not much talking machine. I commented on this just because there is a very high chance it's gonna fail.
lots of comments about safety issues i have seen craftsman sent to the ER for regular shop bought disks. I made one and the disk feels immensely more secure than the shop bought. Do i prefer home made def not for a wood cut disk with properly tempered steel i wood choose over any day but in a pinch this hack is damn brilliant

SI TE DEDICAS SOLO A OBEDECER SERÁS UN BUEN ESCLAVO...
Buena respuesta.
I'd use it... Pretty well made. Not anymore dangerous than a cutting disc, probably less likely to shatter but would mind them teeth snapping
Ya cpt tumpul kalau bahanya dari plat bukan baja, mending pakai bekas circle keramik sisi lingkar luarnya sdh lebih tebal untuk bagian geriginya,😊
It's safer to use the proper tool, it's called a saw, this is beyond dangerous.
bro enjoyed the journey and stayed true to a craftsman’s soul; the skills it took to do this far outweigh just buying that piece.
Only thing he did wrong here was putting the safety cover back on, I always take them off and throw them away, he also should have left the thing squared off so it will cut everything
the trip to the doctor will be astronomical
Next video will be at the hospital's intensive care unit😂😂😂😂....
😂
😂😂😂
They are still fighting for his life...
but after that
"The show must go on"
and the rest of the episodes with
Denny Danger shall be filmed also.
Probably with the title;
"Do it yourself projects by Denny Danger"
episode "Rest in pieces".
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍
Lol
My dude tricks all 3.2 million of us into watching him make a grinding disk with a grinding disk. Genius!
Grinding disk? No, that's a saw blade.
7:19 seht her, was für ein perfekter Sägeschnitt.
Crazy how doing stupid things are all cool with Utube.
But go against FJB and I get censored.
Bye bye fingers 😂
7min of my life I'll never get back
Writing his death warrant
They sell 4" carbide tipped blades for cheap. This takes longer than its worth
How is your welding example life threatening
Thats a great Christmas gift for dad.
Yea if you hate the guy!
Why why i am waste my 7:31 minutes of my life.
He's using a cutting disc made specifically for cutting metal to make a "homemade" dodgy disk. The whole point of those specifically made disk's U buy is when they shatter they don't kill or mame.
With all of these negative comments, I have to say that I admire you for envisioning a solution for something and giving it some real effort !
A solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
You must have zero experience doing work in any type of blue collar trade. This is dangerous and comically inefficient.
Unless civilization has totally collapsed and cutting discs no longer exist, this isn't a solution to any problem.
Those grinders are DANGEROUS ! Do this Krap with much caution ! Quidado !
Why didn't you draw the outer circle when drawing the middle circle on the iron sheet? To draw the outer circle, do you have to fix the iron sheet on the milling machine and then draw a line around it?!
The way he did it, accomplished 2 details:
1.) That the outer disc is more certainly equal distant to the center of the circle, thereby will be more reliable & smooth cutting.
2.) By marking the second circle the way he did, also shortens the length of the blade, taking out a lot of flimsiness, play, or any possible wobble.
@@RandallHirt Thank you for your guidance. ❤
There are people that shouldn't own power tools and this is one of them
.... Or maybe just use a box cutter to get through that tough 1/4" ply, without taking 20 minutes to make whatever that is.
1/8" lol
Absolutely brilliant, If you live somewhere where spares are not readily available like a war zone (Lets say Gaza or something)or an embargoed country but still need to be able to fix stuff with limited resources , well done , to many Westerners on here with shops a drive not too far away or Internet delivery options, thanks.
Maybe as a very last resort....but too much trouble otherwise. A old saw blade works.
Perfekt!
DO NOT DO THIS! you will eventually get kickback or forward. This is dumb af
Dangerous one. It cuts slow. I won't do that. Go for thicker MDF and that will turn into flying knife 💀💀💀
Very interesting, suitable to try, thank you for your knowledge
I couldn’t block this channel fast enough!

Very Smart video for your Algorithm , When you post a Video like this you get more Comments Than a Video with Useful content.
I can't take anyone seriously with a guard
Melhor comprar um disco de madeira!
Kreatip tapi lebih mahal
Cating rp2.500
Waktu 1/2 rp75000
You need steel plate, 2-3 cutting discs and one day of work to make this. And it will be worse, than original. "Nice" idea.
I think we're being trolled.
@@strayedarticle2838 yes
So we've can now say we've encountered someone who has never heard of Harbor Freight.
The perfect tool for winning a Darwin Award!
The irony of using an angle grinder cutting disc to make a less safe cutting disc. Great idea really, dangerous in prolonged use.
5:00
Grinder - $120
Metal blank - $2
Sacrificial real cutting wheel used to make shitty unsafe cutting wheel - priceless
Thanos: "I used the stones to destroy the stones"
This vid: "I used the angle grinder to make an angle grinder (disc)"
Id use a hacksaw for wood. Grinders are used for metal. I've never seen anyone grind off wood
lots of comments about safety issues i have seen craftsman sent to the ER for regular shop bought disks. I made one and the disk feels immensely more secure than the shop bought. Do i prefer home made def not for a wood cut disk with properly tempered steel i wood choose over any day but in a pinch this hack is damn brilliant
It's stupid and dangerous
It was a good idea, but is it sustainable? 😮
Very nice ❤❤❤ you should start your own business
Jajaja, muy bien realizado. Pero es muy barato el que venden.
Musik latar mantap,,
Wow this guy is really smart. Next thing you know, he's gonna invent a thing called a "saw"
