      It's really easy to do. I used to do it all the time when I was a little kid.
      He's a brilliant comedic actor though. Not disagreeing there.

      It truly is! That whole scene- I mean, having participated in theater, etc - that’s pretty incredible - the whole thing. The laughing, the eating, etc. it all looks like real. I mean, it’s better than some of the best dramatic scenes. Legitimately. I think comedy is very underrated as an art form

      @@Sassyglbeauty Agree. Purely comedic movies don't win best picture. It's not uncommon for winning movies to have comedic elements, but it's usually dark comedic elements, or incredibly mild humor on the side.

      I remember first seeing him in Bruce Almighty, and he completely stole the show. And that's not an easy thing to do in a Jim Carrey movie. It confused me that he wasn't some giant star yet. And then The Office came around!

      @ what you are saying doesn’t make any sense, for example the song American Pie, is an American Icon, regardless of where it is played in the world, the brand Levi’s are an American Icon, regardless of who is wearing them in the world. The Notebook is American Icon, regardless of where it is being watched around the world.

    Started acting as a hobbie and four years later I got offered to lead in a period comedy piece in a small theater, and I am torn between loving the role and horrified to fail and ruin the show for everyone if I get nervous. Watching these awesome actors nail the audition fills me with amazement but makes me doubt I got what it takes haha

    Awesome video. Thank you. I was just have a "discussion" with someone who said, "actors just repeat lines that are written for them." I suppose that some do, but this proves that a talented actor brings more than just the words, they bring life to the role.

      Its just the camera they used. The camera for auditions in early 90s is the normal camera for for a cheap production company ten years later. Glad we know you've noticed it though and that's what you took from this video.

    The first time i saw Jason Momoa was in Stargate Atlantis playing a character called Ronon. This was way before Conan or Game of Throne. I could be wrong, but i think Conan the Barbarian was the first time that i saw him on a big blockbuster movie.

      Whoever recorded this video is an idiot and either didn't do enough research or just decided that Stargate: Atlantis wasn't a big enough deal to be mentioned. Stargate: Atlantis was SUCCESSFUL as a TV show, while Conan: the Barbarian was a box office bomb.

    Seeing Jim Carrey reminds me; he is so primed for his “John Wick” moment. Not action, per se, but a good role under budget, designed to make bank no matter what. Like a slightly comedic Noir. Unexpectedly career defining.

    Had a gf in the 90s who worked for Jerry Beaver, an nyc casting agent.
    One night she brought home Bruce Willis's audition reel from the old Levi's 501 Blues commercials. At the time he was a bartender and he played harmonica.

    Nice collection mate! Some real gems here. Note that Momoa had a solid supporting role on Stargate Atlantis as a techno-Barbarian trading on physical presence, which helped push him out of Baywatch zone and into contention for the fantasy/action pieces that came later.
