I feel some of the tests you did werent even close to realistic nor fair for the marker. The cold paint test was great but for the hot paint it was literally on fire, and you had to help the melted balls even roll out of the hopper. Difference from hot paint and melted. The peanut butter jelly test would be interesting if you did side by side comparisons of other bolts in the same test. Like "Peanut Butter Jelly Test on MXR VS CS3" for example.
This is the kind of dumb shit I do and fully expect my gun to shoot laser afterwards 😅

there's an empty groove on the bolt guide meant for putting an orange 17 oring on to restrict air flow to slow the bolt down. it quiets and softens the shot making it feel more like a soft dsr+ shot. similar to putting the SFR on - another thing worth mentioning is the UL-I barrel has less porting than the dsr+ UL barrel so if you want to compare shot/sound apples to apples use the same barrel :)

Honestly I've been on the same bunker as someone and my dsr+ is so quiet the dude had no idea I was there after 3 pods, it's so quiet I love it when I'm this old and slow. Gotta be sneaky.
I heard a DSR+ like that too. It's insane how quiet they are.
As soon as I saw fire in a loader I knew this would be great hahaha great video

The eye breach has some kinks to work out, some of the breaches have some sharp edges which the ball hits and breaks. I’ve heard people buying a new breach and it’s fixed the issue. As for the eyes the fault will go away once you clean the eye towers.
Ergonomics on the mxr are amazing but m3+ remains the best (prob biased)
@@enmity2574 OK so I was right about the eye pipe being the issue. Good to know there is fixes to it all
I fixed the sharp edges on my breech sleeve by sanding them down lightly with 600 grit sandpaper. i've got 12k shots on mine so far, i like it. I do prefer the eye pipe on the dsr+ though, it keeps the eyes cleaner if paint gets in the breech.

Sad, Dye just can't win anymore. Dud after dud with their newer guns. Now they drop the DSR pro which is basically a plus with IM kit and a ULI barrel. Planet is still the way to go and honestly I'd trust Luxe more at this point. Crazy tests but I'm also glad to see you say it was having issues without the crazy tests you were doing.
I agree. Being transparent is huge. i think they just need to spend a little more R&D time on the products to ensure they're flawless. Aside form the marker having issues, the other changes they did as far as features with the board, grips, barrel, and trigger were incredible and added a ton of value at the asking price.

Exactly what I was thinking too but that cheap peanut butter has a bunch of crap in it. I have to figure out something really nice for the next review.

I am not a fan of the dye guns idk know really why but any eclipse gun I prefer a lot more.
I have shot PE for the past 4 years and I have to say I felt the same way until this year

I have the r5 and the mxr, I prefer the mxr. The shot seems to be more consistent grouping on the mxr and the ergos for my taste are better as well.

@@FEFEHSKO MXR will be better once the issues are fixed but currently the DSR. I always recomend shooting both and then deciding

I agree with what Matt said. I own a CS3, MXR, DSR+, M3+, and a Geo 3.5. I personally have not had any issues with my MXR yet, but I’ve seen quite a few have some little quirks to work out. The DSR+ with an IM pro kit is, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck out of any marker on the market. It is a fantastic shooting gun. I think it’s a better choice right now between the two.
I need to give it more long term use, but the MXR might become my favorite out of all of these. The ergos feel great, snappy trigger, great shot quality, and probably the best air efficiency in a high end marker. I just need to know I can trust the marker and I’m not there yet because I’m concerned I might run into issues Matt and others have run into with the MXR.
I love the CS3 too. Not nearly as smooth as the Dye guns shot quality wise, but this thing is bulletproof.

I've been touching the Nerf gun for about 7 years
I looked at this and that and came all the way here
Please explain why the guns in the video are expensive
One thousand dollars, two thousand dollars... Why is this price?
It handles high pressure systems and has high fire rates along with electronics to allow for customization. All of this is put together in a aluminum body with rubber grips and extra pieces added like barrels and replacement parts. It all adds to making the marker shoot, feel, and perform at a high level. There are cheaper versions but they are missing some of bells and whistles. Its essentially a high end automobile in the car world. They all drive but if you want all the fancy parts and the best ride possible you have to spend a little more.
