1) Nick Wrong does not know NFL history if he thinks you can't win a SB without a superhero QB. (Nick Foles, Joe Flacco, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson all won SBs). 2) Goff is a 3x PB QB, having an MVP season leading the #1 offense, who has already proven he can lead a team to a SB. So not only have "pedestrian QBs" proven that they can win SBs, but Goff is not even a pedestrian QB. He is an elite QB playing at an historic level.
The lions would match up great with the chiefs in the sb. Because they, like the chiefs, have the ability to win games when one of the three phases are not playing well. They can lean on the other two phases to still put them in a position to win. They’re a complete team
The only team Detroit has to worry about is the Raven and 49ers...their rosters matchup well....the Chiefs can't beat Detroit and I'll stand by this ...stood by it last year before the opener....and Detroit has got a lot better
That's hypothetical because a) could have missed b) the huge amount of mistakes they made to let the niners back in the game. But yes, as a lions fan, the attempts should have happened
Nick is the ONLY mainstream media guy that will call it like it is on Lamar. He’s all time great and elite but somehow when the ravens lose Lamar escapes all blame and it’s “why are they relying on Lamar so much?” Idk maybe because 100% of teams with elite qb’s lean on the qb??!
Nick's entire point is stupid because the Steelers and Chiefs aren't the only teams that matter and the Ravens fumbling twice deep in their own territory, Tucker missing two kicks, and Justice Hill letting the ball get taken from him on an interception has nothing to do with the quarterback and neither does the 12 penalties.
@@GoodBeardDay Eagles are at their best when they ride the run game, dominate the line of scrimmage, and things open up for Hurts to hit those deep passes. I wouldn’t put Hurts on that elite level at all.

That’s because they take two extremes that keeps Lamar from getting his full credit unless he goes undefeated and Never depends on anything nor anyone besides his arm. Mahomes has gotten all credit for Kansas City’s wins, Lamar has gotten most of the blame for ravens losses. Joe burrow and those two receivers put up 3 points for majority of the game, That ain’t the Defense but they Blamed that entire game on everyone else except Joe cool and his 3 point 3 quarters.
because the media are hiding the true villian of all these losses...john harbaugh and the OC. Lamar isnt beyond reproach but every QB needs a great gameplan
Who is we? The Derrick Henry usage is just a dumb media talking point almost nobody who actually watches the Ravens a lot is worried about Henry’s usage.
When it comes to Lamar yes. I get tired of hearing from his stans that they should have run more in a lost. I.mean his the mvp the goat, don't tell me about whatever runninback they had last year.
Funny how Nick sees the 'obvious' thing about Lamar Jackson, but not how obviously wrong he continues to be about the Lions. Calling Goff a civilian is insane disrespect. He's playing circles around Mahomes. The Lions are not going to need Goff to be superman and go and save them like the Chiefs always need Mahomes to do..
The is just infuriating from Nick. His logic is literally “Baltimore should win every single game or Lamar is bad.” But he’s too stubborn to realize that what he’s saying. If Lamar’s “failure” games means the ravens are 1 inch and a 2pt conversion from beating the chiefs, or 1 missed field goal (of which there were 2) from beating the Steelers, then by Nick’s logic Lamar is only good if he literally never loses…..
Nick will literally say something like “Michael Phelps can’t win this swim meet because he can’t swim in deep water”. He literally makes no sense with a lot of his takes.
In the past KC have run a sub-optimal gameplan in the regular season game anticipating a playoff game. They don't want to show you their hand. They use the regular season to test the waters

Nick doesnt watch games. The Ravens had two bad fumbles leading to 6 easy points, two missed FGs costing 6 points, and Lamar's INT was a good throw, giving him zero TOs, more yards, and a chance to score. Just stop. It wasn't his best game but it was fine. You know, like a lot of Mahomes games this year.

What a stupid ranking. Bills #2??? They were destroyed and smashed by Lamar and the Ravens, and Stroud and the Texans. And the Dolphins over the Texans or Packers???. Rankings should be Lions, Ravens, Chiefs, Eagles, Steelers, Chargers, Cardinals,, Texans, Bills.
What Nick doesn’t get is that it’s not just Goff. It’s Ben Johnson and all of the skill players plus the best OL in football. There is no other team that has all the pieces. Goff himself has shown that he is clutch even when everything is not going his way. He doesn’t lose focus on what needs to happen to win the game.
I agree with nick on Lamar. As a Ravens fan, it is confusing. Lamar SHOILD be relied on because he can. His passing inconsistency is so frustrating, against the bengals, he made some TOUGH throws under pressure. However, against the Steelers, he couldn't make simple throws?
The way Colin's been talking about the Vikings the last three weeks, I'm surprised he doesn't have the 4-6 Dolphins AND the 5-6 Niners ahead in his top ten. Even if the Vikings beat Chicago and Arizona over the next 2 weeks, he'll still probably have Arizona over Minnesota.
as a Houston native & James Harden fan, Nick is right about Lamar, folks act like you can’t say he plays badly in big games and you can feel it when you’re watching it just like with Harden. Both all timers fasho.
Nick thinks people saying run the ball means Lamar is bad, when in reality it just means the ravens don’t know how to properly pace the offense, and that causes the team to lose. If the Chiefs tried to throw the ball every play because “Mahomes is just that guy” then they would lose, a lot. Instead they run the ball 20 plus times so Mahomes can take advantage of the defense during specific situations. It really isn’t complicated. The ravens need to run the ball more to open things up for Lamar. Not to “take it out of his hands.”
The Goff disrespect is insane. Even with 5 picks in one game, Goff has thrown fewer interceptions than Mahomes this season, more TD's, the same yards, the same number of wins, has a higher completion %, and higher avg. yards per play. Sorry he doesn't have to scramble every play I guess, even though Goff also has the best QB rating under pressure this season too.
Nick, you are absolutely spot-on about Lamar!! Good on you, Nick!! I don't know why Colin and much of the media go overboard in defending Lamar, who has been an NBC (Natural Born Choker) so far in his career. I smell reverse racism here. I don't think Colin etc...... would defend Lamar like this if he were white. The sad thing is this kind of nonsense does not help Lamar become a better QB. Not one iota.
Because Bill Polian was called racist for suggesting Lamar should play another position , some white media members walk on egg sheels with Lamar, the black media members hype more Because he's black. Or considered authenticly black according to Ryan Clark..

If Goff is a “civilian” because he cant run like Lamar or roll out and throw a 50 yarder like Mahomes then what is Tom Brady? If Nick was a Lions fan he’d be on the exact opposite side of the argument. Super biased its annoying
Calling Jalen Hurts a civilian after being runner up MVP in 2022, a 42 and 19 record, and currently 4th in MVP odds is stupid
Hurts has also beaten all of your super hero qbs. Burrow, Stafford, Mahomes, and Allen.
Hurts not getting any credit from that Jew until he wins a superbowl

This clown also called Goff a civilian on his show yesterday and got summarily slammed.
Also if Goff wins can we say he is as good as Stafford who could never turn Detroit around?
Hey don’t disrespect an Elite QB like Joe Flacco like that!¡!¡
😂😂WOW Colin I’m shocked today !
Texans , Packers, Commanders, were available!
The lions would match up great with the chiefs in the sb. Because they, like the chiefs, have the ability to win games when one of the three phases are not playing well. They can lean on the other two phases to still put them in a position to win. They’re a complete team
Lions would SLAUGHTER the Queefs
The only team Detroit has to worry about is the Raven and 49ers...their rosters matchup well....the Chiefs can't beat Detroit and I'll stand by this ...stood by it last year before the opener....and Detroit has got a lot better
GB is better than 3-4 teams on the list
4 6 dolphins at 10 is a disaster, how is green bay not here I have no idea tbh since they demolished the cards
Green Bay are frauds. Flip of the coin wins vs Bears, Texans and Jags? Let’s see a convincing win vs a weak SF team.
If Dan Campbell kicked FGs instead of going for it on 4th down in the NFC Championship game against SF the Lions would've been in the Super Bowl.
That's hypothetical because a) could have missed b) the huge amount of mistakes they made to let the niners back in the game. But yes, as a lions fan, the attempts should have happened
He didn't have a Kicker last year. Imagine if Bates was with us last year
Having Phins above Texans and greenbay is NUTZ
The Broncos are coming for that top ten spot
The dolphins?!?!!?! WTH is wrong with you Colin
He's an Idiot, that's what's Wrong with him hahaha
For the record Nick's own co-hosts on First Things First have called him out on being disingenuous when it comes to Lamar.
Exactly lol “why are you relying on the player who is supposedly the most valuable in the entire league!”
It’s only because Lamar called him out about his nose
Did u watch game ? 2 fumbles a pick that wasnt his fault and two missed fgs
So where would you put ravens on the list? All you talked about was Lamar specifically.
Dolphins get our day in the sun before the packers end our season, thanks Colin!
Bro just called Purdy, Goff and Hurts civilians. They're all the best qbs in the NFC tf

Good players don’t get dogwalked by their rivals all the time like the Ravens. The Steelers have beaten them so often in the Lamar era that the bruises are now tattoos.
So you feel the same way about the Bengals because they can't beat the Ravens?
By the logic Burrow isn’t good because they almost always lose to the Browns and Herbert isn’t good because they almost always lose to the Chiefs. And the Colts almost always lost to New England in the Manning era.
Convinced Colin hates the Packers
No one likes that town.
Dude said the dolphins over packers lmao
To be fair the packers basically just lost to the disaster that is the bears (yes I know they won but the end was fluky). 10 should probably be the commanders or the broncos though, not Miami

Colin has the audacity to have the 4-6 Dolphins as 10 instead of GreenBay, Seahawks, Commanders or Texans.....wow what utter Blasphemy
Its on purpose, it generates comments
As a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, it's about damn time we started getting some respect from some of these talking heads!
OK, just kidding. As a lifelong, suffering Dolphins fan, it's a complete travesty and an utter joke to have us anywhere above like 20th right now. Come on Colin.....Washington, Houston, Green Bay even Denver....much better picks at ten than us.
Look forward to seeing these guys on Tuesday.
Nick low key has a point about Lamar. If Lamar is the reigning mvp and possibly best player, then why do we blame RB usage every time Ravens lose?
Is Nick Wright ever right?
When it comes to Lamar yes. I get tired of hearing from his stans that they should have run more in a lost. I.mean his the mvp the goat, don't tell me about whatever runninback they had last year.
Bills vs Lions superbowl would be awesome. Something fresh
Bills still need to get by KC
Funny how Nick sees the 'obvious' thing about Lamar Jackson, but not how obviously wrong he continues to be about the Lions. Calling Goff a civilian is insane disrespect. He's playing circles around Mahomes. The Lions are not going to need Goff to be superman and go and save them like the Chiefs always need Mahomes to do..
Ummm . . . That's kind of the definition of a superman -- having to come in and save the team.
Facts!!
Not a Vikings fan but they deserve to be either top 5 or #6
i dare nick to not talk bad about lamar for one minute

That dude sucks
Nick will literally say something like “Michael Phelps can’t win this swim meet because he can’t swim in deep water”. He literally makes no sense with a lot of his takes.
In the past KC have run a sub-optimal gameplan in the regular season game anticipating a playoff game. They don't want to show you their hand. They use the regular season to test the waters
Lamar is better than Mahomes this year
Statistically, so is Jameis Winston
Multiple QBs have been better than Mahomes this year. We also know most QBs in the playoffs will play better than Lamar will
You’re going to offend the Mahomes fangirls.
@ that’s fine. Lamar, burrow, Josh Allen, Herbert and Jared Goff besides 1 game have all out performed him this year
@@nsd_respect he will be fine, when you consider, that reality come playoff time always offends the Lamar fangirls

You can see why Colin isn’t on a debate show. That Nolan Ryan analogy came out of nowhere and Nick didn’t know what to do. Man is beyond experienced.
Love Colin, but he may be the first commentator with CTE
1:39 That ball is the wrong shape. You are supposed to be talking about the NFL. You're mixing up your sports buddy.
My favorite thing is watching Lions fans getting mad for Nick disrespecting them when he has been doing that to the Eagles his entire career.
I'm putting Nick on pumpkin watch😂
Nick, that was a weave worthy of a presidential nomination
Philly should be #2 with best defense in the league!
Brad Holmes Lions GM doesn’t get enough credit. DC and B.P. Make a heck of a combination. Holmes is a genius with the numbers and draft picks.
Surprised Colin is bringing up Nolan Ryan considering that Jeter interview earlier in the year
"I wouldn't compare it to baseball... you know what he is? Nolan Ryan!"
I can't believe he out Stafford in the super hero category when he LEAD THE LEAGUE IN INTERCEPTIONS The year they won the Super Bowl!
