People always talk trash about Tom Cruise. I used to believe what people said about him. Then I started paying attention to his acting and his roles. I can't think of a single bad performance. There are a few people left in Hollywood that you are pretty sure you're going to get your money's worth. Tom Cruise is one of them.

You should watch Collateral cause that movie shows otherwise. In that movie he is Vincent and does a great job being an intimidating force of nature as he goes around completing hits and the little things he adds throughout add so much to Vincent as a character not to mention is great chemistry with Jamie Foxx.

Incredible actor. Tom’s versatility, charisma, energy. Tom’s “wish list” in the acting arena is to make the viewer enjoy the movie. Tom gives what all is, and more, with special care in the acting field.

Tom is very intelligent and works hard to give us these characters. I wouldn't be surprised in the US Army and Airforce hasn't sent Tom enlistment papers wanting his talent and expertise. Tom has the training by real military and airforce instructors doing all the action movies he has done.

The great actors of the past tended to be "one-note" actors. You knew them for essentially one role. Tom did an amazing job on this one, Ranks up there with Air America and Lord of War although Lord of war wasn´t pilot oriented but sort of same concept. Loved them.

Just watched Mission Impossible in 4D. It was amazing, the stunts that he all does himself are mind blowing. My daughter conned me into seeing it 3 times.
@@Livestrong00782 4D is where your seat moves up, down etc in sync with the movie. So in the car chase scene you are rocking all over, it’s like riding a bucking bronco. Plus air shoots out of all kinds of openings and if there is water in the scene you get sprayed with a fine mist. It is awesome!
I met Mr. Cruise at Lake Elsinore in the early 90’s. Yes, a very down to earth regular guy. We were fresh off the plane from Desert Storm. I was a Marine Reservist who was called to active duty and was guiding a lot of those bombs on to the targets, that made such great viewing on CNN. He was the one acting like we were the celebrities.
Mr. Cruise is a top notch salesman, a brilliant saleman. No matter where he goes or who he's dealing with, he has the goods they want...so, they buy. He gives the people what they want. American politicians could learn a thing or two from Mr. Cruise.

There are very few Tom Cruise films that fail to entertain me. Oblivion, Edge of Tomorrow, Jerry Maguire, Top Gun and many, many more. All excellent movies. All watched several times. Denzel Washington is another actor with repeat watchability.

No one has mentioned The last Samurai. He played a burnt out warrior to perfection. Only the Samurai honourable way of life gradually brings him back to life. Watch it again, it's a great performance. As for his sword play , I as a former fencer. Terrific!

Does it affect the whole country, or one section , or just a crowd ? Is the choice legal? Is my neighbour playing loud music at 1 am ? Little choices, big choices. Is there a person on the tv that i do not like the look of? My choice to change the tv channel over. The national anthem at a football match. My choice to sit or stand , to sing or not. We probably make choices every day, without realising it. Maybe some of us think a bit more about those choices than others.

I watch many old classics and while there's an inescapable element of taste, I defy anyone to name an actor who played such a variety of roles so convincingly. The great actors of the past tended to be "one-note" actors. You knew them for essentially one role. Tom Cruise (and a few other actors, such as Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, and Sandra Bulluck) can play any character in a first-rate way. The problem with Tom Cruise never aging is I have no idea how old this movie is
I loved every moment of this movie. The ending left a sour taste in my mouth but damned it´s funny most way through and only a bit dark. Tom did an amazing job on this one, Ranks up there with Air America and Lord of War although Lord of war wasn´t pilot oriented but sort of same concept. Loved them.
The ending was due to the real life ending involved. Most of the movie is very true to the actual story in fact.

@@Livestrong00782 4D is where your seat moves up, down etc in sync with the movie. So in the car chase scene you are rocking all over, it’s like riding a bucking bronco. Plus air shoots out of all kinds of openings and if there is water in the scene you get sprayed with a fine mist. It is awesome!

I met Mr. Cruise at Lake Elsinore in the early 90’s. Yes, a very down to earth regular guy. We were fresh off the plane from Desert Storm. I was a Marine Reservist who was called to active duty and was guiding a lot of those bombs on to the targets, that made such great viewing on CNN. He was the one acting like we were the celebrities.
Mr. Cruise is a top notch salesman, a brilliant saleman. No matter where he goes or who he's dealing with, he has the goods they want...so, they buy. He gives the people what they want. American politicians could learn a thing or two from Mr. Cruise.
