Nice review and comparison. People seem to think the RS is basically just the S with a little more HP which can be fixed with a simple flash, but that is completely wrong. HP number is only one aspect (and the RS can be flashed to the same levels more safely as well). Cooling (air, oil, and coolant) is different/better in the RS. Turbos are a different part number. The RS has a lower compression ratio. SQ is not just "the same" engine detuned. The RS has significant differences in many of the areas you point out, from drive to styling, to interior, to ride, to options, +++. Add the ceramic brakes to the RS (like mine has) and the top speed increases, performance is excellent, zero brake dust, and rotors that last the life of the vehicle. The ceramic 440mm rotors are the only ones that fit well in the 23" wheels. The SQ8 rotors look tiny in comparison when the 23" option is specified. Thanks for sharing this video.
🤔🤔 the RSQ8 looks better, more sporty. I'm not really a technical guy and don't really care about anything other than the design. If I had the money I'd buy this exact RSQ8, blacked out
Great review Anthony. I have to say that I will take either if someone wanted to buy one for me 😁They both are truly amazing and those exhaust notes are just intoxicating! I saw a review of a Purosangue today and I have to say that one is going on my lottery list! 111 here today and I'm lucky to be able to stay home and soak up the AC. How are things on your side? Hope all is well and that you are having a great day Anthony
@@jameswalsh6131 I agree I would take either they are awesome vehicles. It was up to 101 today which was down from the 107 yesterday which worked out great because we got rain 🎉😁. I was reviewing the new Minis in it and I was so happy because I was soaked from sweet, changing a couple times and the rain cold everything to breathing temps lol. 111 is very hot it’s good you enjoyed it inside, that’s cooking weather and no safe to stay out too long. Another great day with BMW and Mini looking forward to working a new team in a couple days so back to edits so I will be ready. Hope your week has started off great James
RSQ8 still have same old head lights, plus you paying $30K more for 90 more horses and a few more body kit modes. You can tune the SQ8 to do the same for much less than 30K with a sweeter body kit. both are nice cars but I think the SQ8 is better value for the money. but I still feel the designs are outdated, needs a completed make over, Benz and BMW have moved onto new designs Audi is still stuck with past design.
@@jakeferderer9637except that it’s not. The headlights are the same from 2019, you do pay $30k more for 90hp and more aero, and you can most definitely tune a SQ8 to have more torque and hp.
Before you sign on the dotted line, you need to have a 0 % APR credit card for Gas bill, tires, brake pads, insurance , $400 oil changes at the Audi dealership. !! They’re both awesome cars.. I guess if I would be go for the RS bec if you opt for the SQ you might have some remorse for not having the RS BUT if you take the RS will you feel bad for not buying a Lambo URUS …(perhaps pre owned) . Would either impress folks at the country club as much as. Porsche or Benz ?
Yea, me and the wife are pretty set on a SQ8 (design is better) also to me the SQ8 sounded better with revs (maybe just me). I just feel once you enter into RS price level you might as well go get a Porsche Cayenne S or even GTS. Wife loves the SQ8 so we are getting the all black SQ8 lol Good break down in the video btw.
This was an excellent review and the best comparison of these two models I've seen. Extremely helpful. Thank you.
You’re welcome

That is true, they are two different animals and the value for both are awesome depending on what a person is looking for.
THIS WAS VERY WELL DONE!
Thank you
Rsq8 is fantastic

All I’m going to say about the RSQ8 is “ damn ❤️❤️👏

Not sure what for camera are you using but the quality is bad in bright light, even if you record in 4k.
@@cristian_c that’s for your insight I will look into this 👍
Heck yeah❤

Literally everything you said here is wrong.
Awesome vehicles either way you go 👍

I prefer the original front & rear design vs the 2024 “face lift”. I actually hate what they did to the Q8 & SQ8 this year

The Panamera is built on the same platform as these Audis, Lamobo, and Bentley.
