Excellent training video and well presented. If one knows and understands electrical and electronic fundamentals then a multimeter can be used to great effect before having to call on the Pico for more in depth troubleshooting.
Most electricians have at least more than one multimeter of a different brand, this is because if one gets a reading that is unexpected then the other multimeter can be used to confirm the reading. I use Fluke and Brymen meters.

Thanks for the great video. I was impressed to see that your multimeter measures frequency for pulsed DC signals - when you were measuring the frequency of the switching signal from the MAF sensor. I've been looking for a multimeter that will measure more than the frequency of an AC signal - one like you're using. Most multimeters the frequency measurement can only count the frequency of a signal when the signal passes the 0 volt line - like in the case of an AC signal. The only meter i've come across that can measure the frequency of a pulsed DC signal, is the Fluke 87V. Which is not within my price range.

I am facing a problem that I can't solve and many garages refuse to do,reason:my car is 23 years old. After a few problems to start I managed it to start, but then in June it was all doing crank no start and blinking the immobilizer symbol. I own a Suzuki Baleno 1.8. the faultcodes the scanner spat out: P1621 and P1623. Tried to have the immobilizer written out of my ecu,not working and an emulator bypass also failed. Strange thing is my fuel pump is not humming. I tried to transfer the Ic's of my old immobilizer to a 2nd hand and nothing happens, car cranks no start. People around me tell me to get rid of the car, money is an issue but the car has an emotional value to me.I used a multimeter to check the wire from the immobilizer connector to the ecu and all wires are fine.Any direction to solve this problem? The car failed MOT( live in the Netherlands) .Is it possible because the fuel pump is not working to trigger the immobilizer codes like: The transponder not registered and communication line error? I am at lost here and I have nobody capable to solve the problem unless I pay them thousands of euro's...
