I have a 17 year old cockatiel named Chipper. Whenever he does anything like talk or whatever, he doesn’t look at me for approval. Somehow I think he gets a kick out of doing what he does.
If they see a reflection or something they think they could mate the action of them pulling their head back and opening their beak or bobbing their head is a feeding response as birds try to feed other birds to mate.
Actually they love the dizziness they get ... its like babies circling around to be dizzy and that make them happy... and adults drink to feel the dizziness...
They’re hitting their beaks, not their heads. It’s a dominance display for males. If you tap on something near them usually they’ll start tapping back. It’s like a gorilla beating his chest
My bird whistles/sings and then they wait for me to sing and then they sing and before u know it they start stealing my part and starts to dance and also steal the spotlight
i love them the only bad thing about having a pet is at aome point they are gonna die like every1 but they live less and it hurts i lost my parrot 3 years ago rest in piece peynir. );
That cockatoo trying to be a "Ninja bird" is the best one. I remember my budgie like the one in one of the other clip used to go daft with bashing the beak off the fingernails, she was worse though as she'd give you a manicure at the same time and tried to get under the nail!. Crazy birds...they just love creating havoc in their wake.

The way cockatiels look to their owners for approval after they do something silly is amazing
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
I have a 17 year old cockatiel named Chipper. Whenever he does anything like talk or whatever, he doesn’t look at me for approval. Somehow I think he gets a kick out of doing what he does.
There's definitely a lot more going on in those little heads of theirs than most people give them credit for. Beautiful creatures!
ruclips.net/video/lTn2Cvac5Bc/видео.html
It's birdin time!
Yes...rage and madness...
There's plenty going on in their heads. It's just 5 different tracks of screaming.
I agreed. Such intelligent little guys.
why do parrots almost universally love to throw objects onto the floor?
Same reason cats do. Because they can
@@missiesmith949 cats seem to just care less; v parrots seem to watch things fall and take great joy in it
e schwarz They’ve been watching cats for endless years and because they’re a parrot they copy it.
exactly; there is such glee and flair with how they throw
e schwarz Boredom..they want your attention

They are a beautiful joy. I love how they show such intelligence and also seem to embrace and understand frivolity.
It amazes me how well parrots can keep time with the music they hear.
