0:08 On 10 November 2024 Makazole👑Mapimpi equalled midfielder Jaque Fourie 3️⃣2️⃣ tries to be joint holder at 3rd place. With 2nd place at 38 tries, it is highly likely Mapimpi may bag that record, before he calls it a day in his test rugby career. Currently at 32 tries in 46 tests, puts him at an incredible Strike Rate of 70% ‼️. But none of that can compare to his life story of Struggle to Success✊. #RESPEK
He has a huge 65 million strong family, he is a hero, a role model for millions of youngsters in South Africa. There are not enough words to express the gratitude that Springbok fans have for this young man. Mapimpi deserves all the love that us South Africans for our Springbok hero’s ❤
What a story. Mazola Mapimpi is an epic example of coming from beginnings of poverty and achieving his goals in life. No parents, not even a family member. Go forward Mapimpi you deserve a blessed future. 😊😊😊😊😊

I absolutely adore Makazole Mapimpi as a player and admire him for his courage through all his losses. Rassie breaks my heart with emotion to speak about this admirable young man's tragic past. Well done Makazole you are special to us all

Love to see this type of video for the Bokke from someone who isn't from here. Amazing story told, great editing and much respect to you for creating this. Will never forget that try from Mapimpi as it was the first Worls Cup i ever watched live. Beautiful 🇿🇦🙌🏾🔥✨
he's definitely up there with the best of them but there are so many to choose from. You can't deny his unbelievable strike rate though. I'd say my top 10 are: 1. Bryan Habana 2. Cheslin Kolbe 3. Breyton Paulse 4. Makazole Mapimpi 5. Pieter Rossouw 6. Ruan Combrink 7. JP Pietersen 8. Kurt-lee Arendse 9. Tonderai Chavanga (we didn't get to see enough of him) 10. Chester Williams Would love to hear yours as well
@greeruguru awesome list man Mine would be 1. Bryan Habana 2. Cheslin 3. Mapimpi 4. Hougaard (when he played there) 5. Breyton Not ranking them in terms of who's best just showing who I liked watching most
Mapimpi’s 70% strike rate is pretty hard to compare. I think you’ll have to search far and wide to find a strike rate like 70% over 40 tests. That’s just short of 1 try per game. Not too many can boast that number. Also James Small, Chester Williams was a little bit before him, Kolbe’s charge down in Paris. Habana, Senatla - he’s a 7’s player but he can burn the track up. Big man JP….
That's not true to say he had nobody. He had his grandma, his late mother and aunt. Yes his father abandoned his, and only met him in 2017. And still didn't want to do anything with him.
