Totally topped Falcon Heavy launch 🚀
Can't wait for OFT 2
That launch was worth waiting years for. Seeing it move past the Launch Stand really gave perspective as to how massive that beast is. After looking at so many pictures of the entire ship, you lose perspective as to just how insane it is that a skyscraper is flying.
I desperately hope these become more frequent in the years to come.
You are actually talking to Elon Musk. I created this account to learn more about my fans and carry them along in my career.
Haters gonna hate. This is progress. I can't wait to see the next launch!
I'm not a hater and want nothing but SpaceX to succeed, but this could be a very very long path, what exactly was achieved here that never has been. How will crew escape in an emergency. This vehicle is not well founded. To think this will be human rated, even the top half, by next year is a pipedream.
A 26 billion dollars/year organization thinks otherwise
@@digitalintel airplanes arent loaded with fuel and oxidizer that when combined are equivalent to a small nuclear detonation. Comparing todays spaceflight with todays airlines is not something that can be done now. NASA said the same thing about the space shuttle 50 years ago and that worked out for them. Need to prove safety before an LAS isnt required at launch, aka thousands of uneventful launches
@@best-aaron26 it costs more like 100 million and it's an iterative design literally built to blow up.
being alive to witness this, brings tears to my eyes. this will be in history books, your that man, elon. thank you
single best video. period.
Every time I've watched this I start shaking from excitement all over again, my hair stands straight up, and my heart rate spikes. It's like launch day all over again
So happy i got to witness this once in a lifetime launch in person. Awesome job SpaceX!
Fingers crossed for engine ignition cam release🤞🏾
What surprised me was how well this ship is built. The way it was rolling and tumbling at the end, how did it not get broken in half was the most surprising thing to me..Great job and good luck for next one.
A) It did, that's what the last shot of it exploding is, and B) above that the dynamic aerodynamic pressures were relatively low, to that of a hurricane but not a tornado.
@@chrisjacobsen1659 no it's not. Spacex activated the flight termination at that point.
@@sarwarasif3792 SpaceX has admitted the flight termination system failed, it did not destroy the vehicle when triggered, it took a while for the air to thicken enough to tear the rest of it apart. Look it up dude.
@@chrisjacobsen1659 The Flight Termination System did not fail completely, there was a delay of 40 seconds or so before the charges went off, but they did go off eventually...
@@AceNinja2112 check again, the charges went off 40 seconds before the air resistance grew enough to tear the rest of it apart
Greetins🎉it was a big step for all mankind❤
Wow WoW WOW! Emotions, chills, excitement, how incredible! Go SpaceX Go Starship. Im beyond excited for the next attempt!
cant wait for part two in a couple of weeks
very very nice! I'm moved to tears. I'm rooting for you from SpaceX and Elon Musk from Japan! With love from the bottom of my heart 🇯🇵🇺🇸 From a Japanese Tesla investor
And the fourth IFT, today marks the epic success spacex achieved❤ with successful landing of both super heavy booster and the starship in the Indian Ocean🥳🥳🥳
This gave me shivers. Even Though it failed, it's still an impressive feat. Great job SpaceX.
Lol this was a test flight, it was meant to fail. They wanted to check for improvements in the design and this one by looks itself didnt make the cut. IT'S ENGINE EXPLODED ON TAKEOFF and 6 of them shut down. Yet, it still is a majestic and unrivaled feat.
Super, good luck! 🤞
People have always maintained a high level of enthusiasm for exploring the universe, and although they have failed, this is the beginning, not the end
Outstanding... I'm extremely proud of everyone SpaceX... Love you guys❤
I am a very busy man but I try to create time for my personal life
It didn’t reach space, far from it, but man…
After watching this program grow from a bunch of tents and steel rings in the middle of nowhere, April 20th 2023 is a day I will never forget. Godspeed SpaceX you beautiful humans.
It wasn't really expected to. First flight of a disposable test article. I think I recall Elon saying it could take up to 4 flights to make orbit.
Literally breathtaking. We go, for humanity flying to Mars. Godspeed, SpaceX team!
That is literally what literally does not mean.
The fact that 24 and 7 started doing backflips in the air while still staying together truly makes this test even more amazing. It is really cool to soo the engines glowing!!
Onwards and upwards, do not let anyone or anything stop you!!! super inspirational!!!!
Unbelievable how such a monster can fly. To think it will eventually land like the Falcons. Big amazing 🎉
