Same! My dog always looks away and ignores me whenever I have my phone with me while interacting with her. When I don't have my phone, she's really affectionate and clingy. I think she dislikes it when my attention is divided whenever I have that phone. We have one other doggo and she's not like that, still plays with me even when I have my phone with me or when I take their videos.

It made me miss my orange baby so so much!! ... his previous owner had named him Killer, but I called him Boy ... he was so misunderstood, he was just a typical goofy orange cat. And when I refused to yell at him, swat him, or reprimand him in any way & just continued to show him that I loved him, he just clicked one day and looked up into my eyes w/his eyes big & dilated. We became soulmates right then and there. He saw me thru every hard moment in my adult life. I can't wait to meet up with him again in the next life ...
I, too, am an orange cat owner. He DOES NOT behave this way at all. And I don't think this baby does either. Fault of the owner. I'd act up too. BTW, my boy loves having his picture taken. He's a very loving kitty.
im guessing she is recording with a iphone using lidar focus, and the cat is wondering why youre shining a flashing laser pointer in its eyes. lidar light is invisible to humans but its a strobing laser visible to some animals. i also find it interesting the comments on the cats behavior, just because people dont see or hear the cause of something doesnt mean it dont exist.
