Went to his car place in Vegas. It is real cool. Free to get in. They have shirts and hats for sale there with alot of cool cars. I walked the first time. I'd suggest not walking because it ended up being over 6 miles. Take a cab. The desert is very hot. No air conditioner in the building but it isn't too bad. The employees are very nice and good. He runs a classy place.
Yes, they are visionaries, they see what they think the vehicle should look like and have the correct guys in the shop to bring the visions to life ... Not everyone that "builds" vehicles is hands on, most are just the vision and money 💰 guys . Most of it is art driven more than practical... Bad Chad up in Canada "builds" alot of vehicles, none of which are drivable on the road but look cool, lmfao 😆😂. To each his own .
He may mot be a Foose or Barris but he did bring more light to the world of cars. Were all not perfect. We all stumble. We fall. In the days of internet every tripnis recorded forever. All our heros are just human. I liked the show and im glad he is doing well. Drugs and booze do not discriminate. Anybody can fall. Anybody.
You can admire someone.. but no one should have idol status.. not a single individual is worthy nor would anyone who’s truly grounded want it.. the show was pretty awesome though
At 60, his story remains as intriguing as ever, and this exposé offers a new perspective on the man behind Counting Cars. It's a must-watch for anyone who has followed his journey or admired his incredible work over the years!"
The car culture is always going to be there. Danny is one of the best to showcase the passion. My father had show cars. One featured at the Hershey event, another at Pebble Beach. I wish the best for him
Loved counting cars Danny had a great workforce and he led them as any boss should , let them use their skills to good effect while guiding the play , great show wish they still made it
Huge fan of the show because they made the cars the stars. Danny was made for this kind of reality show I wish it would go on forever. Good luck and God bless all who worked to make this the best car restoration show ever.
So your in recovery, that's how you get it all back. Change your friends and become accountable. I wish the best for you friend, I've been there and freedom in sobriety is possible
So he had a drug addiction?? Show me anyone talented person who hasn't. Or better yet a great actor in Hollywood who hasn't. Why are people on the History or Discovery Channel held to a different standard? Maybe the Count fell a little further because he didn't play the victim card more. He took responsibility, manned up, and did his time. The most talented of us are also the most embattled.
Everybody got something bigger than they are. Cheeseburgers, line of crank, drink of liquor. You live long enough without sliding through on a greard ass and yiure gonna have troubles. Nobody got up this morning and said today im finally gonna be a tweaker
When the Old Man from "Pawn Stars" was still alive, Danny restored a classic Chrysler Imperial for him. He showed the most emotion I'd ever seen for the finished product, which was flawless.
Love this guy and especially his wife Corey so much more than you can imagine. They touched so many people deeply I can't explain. Forever, got your back!
maybe Danny wasn't turning the wrench's , but he was pretty good at making the decision of what looks good ! Danny also did a lot for charity !! Boyd Coddington, Richard Rawlings, were pretty much were money men had there crew do the dirty work, never thought to much of orange county choppers pretty much kit bikes, the real craftsman were Indian Larry and Jesse James , these two guys had the skills to pay the bills !!!!
Well, I have to say, with his paint team, and the show was definitely a must watch. My now 15 yr old use to watch the show with me and he has a solid "ol' skool" passion to restore old cars!! Danny has shed such a positive light on breathing fresh air and life into old broken down relics to become reborn machines! We all have a little addiction, nobody should be shamed for his addictions. Help him and let him blossom! Danny keep moving forward....God Bless!
Love the sinner, hate the sin. There are plenty of people struggling with addiction. Hopefully hes on the right track now Seems like an amazing guy that fell into addiction. I like him even more now!
life is a group of twists that lead us forwards,. when Life puts adversity in front of you, you can crumble or overcome. Never let the fact that life being the easiest thing eva is easy, cause only you make it hard.
I own a few shops and you won't see me get my hands dirty either. I have emoloyees for that. Im just the educated one that takes on the risk of running the business. Youre broke and apparently dont understand this concept.
I hope he keeps his head above water and gets to keep doing what he loves. Don't know the guy, but I know some of the battles. It takes a lot out of any of us, but not many of us give so much back into the world.
The real legends are the stylist's that developed and formed the car to begin with, all these customizers are truly talented but most cars look better the way they were born
It’s entertainment, I loved the show. many have drug addiction . Especially with tons of money. I have 36 years clean. Eminem clean. None inch nails lead clean. Best wishes Danny
I lived in Las Vegas and would visit my friend who owned 10th St automotive, Danny came by and asked the owner about his cars in the back and Homer told him to get off his property. He never came back.
This man was nothing but a TV joke that’s all he was right from the beginning and he will be right to the end. I’m eight years old. I was involved with a car customizing industry from the very beginning this guy nothing but a joke thank God he’s gone. Maybe he’ll be joining some of those Disneyland Democrats, and they can do the YMCA dance together while they’re pulling time in the joint
Anyone that means you me or anyone not matter the color of your skin or if you are rich or poor it's easy to get addicted to some kind of substance. I've been there and I know many the same way. Some function and carry on a daily life that was me and some get in the gutter and stay their til they hit rock bottom or die. No one wakes up one day and says; ' I want to be an addict". That's just the way it is. I did watch many episodes of this show. The guy that was on I think first two season's Scott lives in the town I live in. I've met him do not know the story of why he left other than rumors. God Bless Danny to me seemed like he was a down to earth good person that has had a good life. Seems to me he worked for everything he has.
DANNY is and always will be the kindest and honest guy I have ever met 💞 I wish Danny his family & crew nothing but the BEST !! Danny will always be in my prayers 🙏🏻 love you Danny 💞💞💞Phyllis (SHESHE) SUMMER OF 77 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What a massive lawsuit.😅A whole 50 grand. Wow. How would anyone handle the pressure. He did his "time." A whole 30 DAYS. How did he do all that time? This video is so weak. From his "zah" 28 to that massive lawsuit to all that jail time. Plus the narrator...😅
I’ve mostly seen him destroy nice vintage cars with his ‘vision’. Plus…., he dresses up in a costume every day. Like it’s Halloween….. every day.., which is a bit psychotic IMO
well, 'count', bet my grandson wld enjoy talking & workin on rods with you. he's a top notch mechanic, body/fender guy & auto painter. ppl bring their high priced classics from outta country for him to do their work & they send him pics of the awards they get for his work-- bcz he's a perfectionist, like you. yup, i'm very proud of him! and i'm leaving him my estate so he can open his own shop.....
Ditched A$$ Monkey Garage after I found Counting Cars. Richard is just a money ho, whereas Danny always displayed a passion for his work and customer satisfaction. I'm not one to be "star struck", but out of all the celebrity types, Danny seems like the kind of guy you could hang out with, maybe share a beer or two.
Laughing at all the haters, you don’t have to know how to do the work to be a successful businessman, just look at Trump he doesn’t have a clue he just surrounded himself with those that do.
Every one of these TV car guys over the past 20 years have one thing in common. They are all Nepo babies From F-1 Motorsports in Connecticut to Chip Foose and everyone in between let’s not forget Orange County chopper’s boy who learn to weld a hatchet or a wrench on to the side of a bike .
Never liked the show, it was all about going around trying to bullshit your way into buying cars of the streets or restoring someone's car to their vision of what the car should look like. Boyd never built a car either. He just knew how to hire the right people.
You need to Google chip, he has built more cars then 10 or 20 of us combined..
I liked that show but he seemed too crabby to me

To each his own .
Worth 4 million but inherited 9 million from Daddy! Car builders don’t have clean hands!
Anyone is capable of anything under the right circumstances. I wish Danny the best. No judgement here.

hes just an old hippy and drugy , no respect from me , brag him up all you want but the truth is the truth , same as a barfly to me
Well Said Sir. Very Well Said. I Thank You For That. I Felt It. Thanks.
You can admire someone.. but no one should have idol status.. not a single individual is worthy nor would anyone who’s truly grounded want it.. the show was pretty awesome though
I liked the show and he seemed like a likeable dude who was a strong patriot. Everybody makes mistake, wish him the best.
Always saw him as an awesome guy. True to his heart! As far as “wrong doing”, let those without sin, cast the first stone…
The best part about Counting Cars, there wasnt a last minute race the clock. I hated it on OCC, and Ass Monkey

The Old Man was one cool dude, the rest are turds in a punchbowl.
That whole bit was another Staged Fakery
I enjoyed Counting Cars and FastnLoud. Danny was always cooler than Richard in my eyes.. ROCKSTAR😮
Fast n loud were complete hacks, they ruined many good cars
Love this guy and especially his wife Corey so much more than you can imagine. They touched so many people deeply I can't explain. Forever, got your back!

I really like how you put that. Hope you and your son are doing well!! Merry Christmas!!
The Count ☠️ and his crew of experts 👍 are missed on TV big time! They are the BEST! STAY WELL 🙏🏼 my friends! ☠️🇺🇸
I watched hours of his episodes! He kept the classic car cult very alive!
We love Danny, God Bless. May he guide us thru life .
you mean with drugs ? I dont think so
he cant guide us , hes a druggy
I like Danny, who never met a stranger, wish him the best
Hope he holds strong. And best wishes to danny ans family and extended family
Love the sinner, hate the sin. There are plenty of people struggling with addiction. Hopefully hes on the right track now
Seems like an amazing guy that fell into addiction. I like him even more now!
I was surprised nothing was mentioned about his time living in Florida. During those years he was really getting into the car scene.
I think he made it a long way..one of the best shows to watch..

thats because hes the vowner , why should he ?
Danny is a good guy. I live in Las Vegas hung out with him a few times when I was racing years ago.
I hope he keeps his head above water and gets to keep doing what he loves. Don't know the guy, but I know some of the battles. It takes a lot out of any of us, but not many of us give so much back into the world.
Danny is exactly 3 years younger than me we have the same birthday 🎉 Happy holidays Danny and Happy Birthday in January 🎉🎉
I watched his show and I visited his shop in a crappy industrial area.
Was even treated to seeing a cop investigating a dead homeless guy.
An American success story.
I loved the show and the cars they put out. Great history piece on the origin of Danny
It's hard not to like any show that specializes in cars although the entertaining workers at the shop are fun to watch
I always felt - If only he could pull that piece of fabric down over his eyes just a little bit more...
Ohh U made my day 😂🎉 . Pssst, I was thinking the same 😊
Miss the show from the UK
I saw him 3 weeks ago at the 2024 SEMA convention it was at the Napa booth
Bros forhead so big he has to wear that bandanna everyday😂😂😂
Fivehead
Danny is a good guy, he's never worked out a day in his life but he is hardcore 😉👍
How anyone is surprised by a guy doing/selling drugs in the industries he is involved in? To many square bears in the forest 12:09
He couldn't turn any car it was a rust bucket into a piece of art I saw many cars that he just completely gave up on
I did hear some of the cars outa his shop were not the majestic pieces of art the show would like us to believe
People don't want to pay the cost of turning junk into a classic.
So what? Every car can’t be saved, and you have to know when to hold them and went to fold them.
Damn, for a while there, I was under the impression I was the only one who had drug issues at one point in life.
Good show. One of best spinoffs from pawn stars.. wish him & the gang well
Love the show
On the pipe with Chumlee and Big Hoss LOL would've been a riot!
I once saw him fix five finger death punches motorcycle and gave tattoo voucher to him.
Danny is a few months older than my mom.
First ? Chip Foose
George Barris
Definitely not this guy.
Foose or Barris, Never created Anything for enthusiastist 🤔
I lived in Las Vegas and would visit my friend who owned 10th St automotive, Danny came by and asked the owner about his cars in the back and Homer told him to get off his property. He never came back.
Did anyone else see fangs at 11:36 and 11:37 and then at 11:40 it looked like they were gone?
Nope never seen them
Miss the show from Joseph Roger Bowen commerce Georgia
ford motor company supported that guy in 1939 with loads of cash. koker gets 30 days the local public gets 2 years or more.
