This is a short look at the full 'Titanic VR Experience', which has over 6 hours of VR gameplay and is available on Steam, the Playstation Store and the Oculus Meta Store.
Just imagine this, unlike these animations, in reality, the night sky was pitch black, so the Titanic’s lights were the only thing illuminating in the night, once they went out, pitch black, the only thing you would have heard is the screams of those left aboard the ship as she goes down, and hearing them go silent after a while. Truly terrifying to think about.
For those who don't know, the lady sitting next to you was a real person named Molly Brown who boarded the titanic and also left with the women when the Titanic sank. She was also the one who insisted to turn back and look for survivors. (The crew she was with ignored her I think?) Once they were safe on the Carpathia, she passed blankets and food to other passengers.
The whole time the daughter is just worried about her father and whether or not he’ll be alright while the mother tries to comfort her. Then when the ship’s lights go out and breaks in half, the daughter starts uncontrollably sobbing. Not long after that, reality starts to set in for the mother and she starts sobbing too. The whole thing is a tragedy, but I couldn’t help but think about all those families that were separated because of this. Truly sad.
An incredible experience, even if it must only be a fraction of the trauma those who were there experienced. Especially those in the lower class. Very educational
honestly, when you successfully get into one of the life boats to be saved and sail away from the sinking ship while you watch people that we're left behind falling and drowning into deaths is a very horrifying feelings

Thank you so much for uploading this! I haven't had the chance to run the game, and I only have phone VR glasses, so this is my first chance to ever experience this as it is in the game, I cannot thank you enough!
@@markratata Well to be honest, I'm not really the biggest fan of VR, I kind of grew tired of it, cause I'm a bit of a 30yo boomer when it comes to new tech. But in the instance of this particular video, it really is impressive, especially if you're a Titanic enthusiast. It is just fascinating to be able to look all around yourself and see the ship to one side, flickering and breaking. This channel also uploaded the part of the game where the camera flows over the wreck on the ocean floor, I watched that in VR as well, and I simply can't describe it. If you watch the video with it, you really feel the actual size of the ship, the sheer enormity of it. It really is worth the buck if you wanna buy VR goggles, the ones for phones are really cheap. I haven't watched almost anything else with mine, I only got em so I could watch the Titanic stuff, and in my opinion it was totally worth it. On the negative side, when I started watching in the beginning, I vomited a couple of times. It really doesn't work well with your brain. Though I do have to note I totally overdid it, I used to rewind the Titanic videos and watch them for like 40 minutes straight without pausing, so all in good measure.
One of the actual survivors who was also an avid fan of baseball said the hundreds of people yelling in the water sounded just like the cheering of the fans at a baseball stadium.
First of all, I loved the pug that was on the boat, that made me feel better. Secondly, I never really thought about how families got separated by this. When I saw the girl wanting her father and I knew that he was going to die, I felt really sad :(
I'm very sad, bro. Seeing this video, I can't stand watching people drown on the Titanic, especially the history of the Titanic, I can't stand watching it. Greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
funny enough, there wasn't enough lifeboats and nobody was properly trained in evacuation proeedures. as for the men doing all the rowing, the women were right to row with the men, the culture and such back then meant protecting women as if they were future victims by any means necessary.
Dude the crew where trained with lifeboat drills, they had 3-4 drills before the ship even entered service man. And for the lifeboat part, the lifeboats weren't meant to be just for rowing around in the ocean they where used so that if a ship starts sinking another ship would come and they would also deploy their lifeboats and the ships would just keep those lifeboats go back and forth between the two vessels and transfer survivors to the safe ship.
@@pegono basically what i just said. the wait for the other ship to come pick their butts up is non-sense, especially since a single ship wreck at that time was a good few hours to few days wait, and in the freezing cold temps of the northern Atlantic, you might as well be asking people to freeze to death. not to mention how inadequate the lifeboats were to begin with, not having enough food and water and even something for warmth like extra clothes or jackets, and little to no shelter from the elements meant they were just asking people to wait for another ship, which again at the time, could easily be a few hours to a few days. its a damn good way to run your passenger line to the ground, by asking people to give up basic needs when a ship sinks.
@@Zeakthecat Dude tell how would they know at the time of the sinking where other ships where and the lifeboats are meant for going back and forth ships.
