Sure, the moral of the story is that the accelerator does not work when the drive wheels are off the ground. Better to let other people teach you this lesson than learn it yourself.
This driver (the red truck with dash cam) drives pretty aggressively, to be fair. There was no need to pull out that fast behind the Camaro and speed up just to tailgate him. No wonder the Camaro brake checked him. But the Camaro driver definitely takes the cake for "stupid."
And the prick with the dashcam was following too closely. And he apparently didn't look for cross traffic either (which doesn't really appear "out of nowhere").
Also, he may have honked at and it certainly looks like he chased the Camaro. This is just a another case of clever editing. The other guy is a jerk, to be sure, but a case could be made that he was trying to shake a tail, here.
It’s likely that he glanced, enough to see the car, but didn’t look properly to see it has moving so fast. Had the camaro been moving at the speed limit, he probably would’ve had space. Still a dumb move on OP’s part, but he’s not entirely to blame.
Oh and "Then he almost hits this guy pulling out of a parking lot"...durrr....like people in parking lots have the right of way over a vehicle on a public street?
I think they both turned into the same lane. Camero was on opposite side of the street and turned left and pick up turned right. That’s my guess anyway he just saw no one behind the car that passed before the camero.
Exact same thoughts. Whoever is behind the dashcam clearly has some driving problems of their own, but that whole pole dance move thing was impressive.
I was driving in my neighborhood, about 2 years ago, and someone did something similar to this. There was a house on the corner that had a rock garden, with 3 or 4 big boulders, and behind the boulders was a big, thick, tree. As an 11 year old, driving to grandmas with mom on the back roads between NY and CT, a car started blaring their horn behind us. Mom moved to the side and a big Chrysler convertible driven by a woman screamed by blasting that horn. About 45 minutes down the road, as my mom drove around a corner, we were stopped by a NYSLEO. When we were allowed to continue, we saw that Chrysler driver had taken the corner at too high of speed, flipped the car over and the Chrysler had slid up the telephone pole support wire just like this Camaro. Unfortunately, her body was in the ditch and her head was in the middle of a travel lane. Both were covered, but I'll never forget that lesson on speeding.

@@russs7574 I don't know. Maybe something irrational triggered him or a misunderstanding. Brake check, not cool. Racing into a turn left lane, not cool. Driving up a tree, what a tool! But he definitely did not come out of nowhere, and he did not slow down cause he was keeping pace with the car in front.
I think when he said he came out of nowhere it was to speed up really fast to not let the car with the dashcam pull out in front of him. There's a lot of dick heads that will do that even though as you can see here he would have had to slow down anyway because there were cars in front of him. howcome break checking is not cool? if you tailgate me when im going the or over the speed limit, and i cant see all of your headlights, im hitting my breaks
He slid on the black ice, clearly. He wasn't really brake checking, all of the Camaros were known for bad brakes, distribution valves, so he was probably pumping the brakes to keep the pedal pressure up.

Two girls were driving after we had lots of rain, that inadvertently left large puddles along the roads, against the sidewalks. Unfortunate for a man walking, who's timing placed him along one of the larger puddles, at the same time these girls approched. As they were ahead of me, I watched as they maneuvered the car into the puddle and drenching the man ! Which made the girl's burst into laughter ! Talk about " Instant Karma ", the driver laughing and leaning into the steering wheel and looking at her friend, was fast approaching a pickup truck, stopped at a Red light ! By the time the driver looked up, she had just enough time to hit the breaks, but not enough time to keep from slamming into the back of the truck ! Fortunately no one was seriously injured ! I just want to know if this guy stayed and showed the cops the video afterwards so that they could charge him with reckless endangerment too? BTW, for all those arguing that break checking is legal, that's what it is, reckless endangerment.
If you stay back far enough that if the other car stops on a dime and you can still stop without hitting him, you do not have to worry about brake checks. I have a switch to disconnect my brake lights so that when I brake check someone I can really scare them The trick is to watch the mirror and step on the gas with just enough time to not get hit in the rear; Pulling up a hand brake and locking up the rear wheels is also a good way to scare someone. If you are in a FWD car, you can lock the rear up and not loose much speed at all with a bit of practice. RWD and AWD cars are a different story.
How much of an angle do you need though? Most decent dashcams offer over 100 degree of view, so does that mean if you buy two of them, you're getting a shot of what's at the left and/ or right side too (which, by the way is unnecessary)?
I dunno. Maybe the guy wants that extra coverage. Maybe he wants redundancy (in case one of them pukes, the other keeps going). I just want to find one that offers a solid HD image. 100 degree view would probably be enough for me, but I don't want that rubbery/jelly-like wobbly-vision image that some cams seem to offer.
Yeah in this video, it's probably because just one of the cameras had such a low FOV (field of view) that he had to use two cameras, just to get the same angle of coverage that one better camera would do. If you do a YT search for "GS63H" then that should show some results up - it's relatively cheap at under $75, does 1080p @ 60fps and capable of 2160p, has GPS and logs speed, etc. That's what I've been using for the last month anyway, but fortunately haven't had to rely on it for evidence yet.
I would’ve stopped, laughed, and said “congratulations, you’re going to be a RUclips star”. Then, promptly call the police, and show them the dashcam footage.

I wager that everyone including you and I, as drivers, has come across another driver, who wants to merge into traffic, and just as soon as you think its clear you start forward, trouble is along comes a camaro boy, who has the right of way, no ifs, ands or buts about that.

You could definitely tell that the Camaro was driving stupid fast though
I think when he said he came out of nowhere it was to speed up really fast to not let the car with the dashcam pull out in front of him. There's a lot of dick heads that will do that even though as you can see here he would have had to slow down anyway because there were cars in front of him. Two girls were driving after we had lots of rain, that inadvertently left large puddles along the roads, against the sidewalks.
Unfortunate for a man walking, who's timing placed him along one of the larger puddles, at the same time these girls approched.

That's petty as fuck who cares what there doing just drive.
That is hilarious - but this video made my eyes hurt watching it

Your satisfaction must have been immense!
why is this video split? it's horrible. can someone combine it and repost?
It's in 3D
I think the guy has 2 dashcams to cover a much wider angle.
