Not all of them. I was bitten in the face by one when I was 3 and still have the scars 44 years later. It's the one breed I'm wary of because everyone thinks they're gentle and loving and most of them are but not all. The one that bit me was pts that day.
ANY dog can/will bite if put in the appropriate situation. Be extra cautious of any owner who promises their dog would NEVER bite as their confidence is much (much) higher than their knowledge of dog behaviour.

You say that I have “no idea” (presumably based on your experience) and I say that dogs (even apparently gentle ones) can/do attack given the right (wrong) circumstances based not only on my personal experience but based on the premise that very few (if any) pet owners would keep a dog in the house that they expected might attack and yet the stats suggest that 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs annually in the US with over 80’000 requiring emergency hospital treatment. I’m not sure whether you are simply extrapolating from your experience with your own dog(s) or you are looking at different statistics but your off-hand dismissal of my concern doesn’t seem to have much basis in fact.
The individuals who abused that dog should be arrested, charged, fined, jailed and never to be 500 ft away from any animal. Toby was incredibly patient and knew time was needed. A beautiful story ❤❤

me too, i never see them videos, i have to actually say tap the button not interested so they dont send me anymore, its been a lifetime of crying really crying for injured abused animals and at times i just cant take it anymore but also means we maybe can help the ones who come our way its a very very hard world for animals beyond cruel i imagine theres no other cruel animal as humans are

Those doggies are so smart! They know exactly what to do! From avoiding eye contact, laying down to her level, not getting into her personal space, and not being forceful about it, they are so kind and intelligent and deserve an extra treat!

Unless you go out of your way you are going to support animal abuse just like in this video and worse (and the animal will be slaughtered as well). The whole industry (in the US at least) is just a lobby effect controlled by powerful people. If we start to throw people in jail for abuse, the meat and dairy industry would start to suffer and they would have to stop to abuse and mistreat animals… They would lose MASSIVE profits.

Fortunately a puppy is more elastic. We adopted a stray senior dog and she never could pick up the idea of toys or socializing with other dogs.
