I never thought about the job of Fire Chaplains after the attacks 😢. Thank you for all you’ve done.

PS. I've never been to New York obviously I don't live there. It must be a fantastic place. To all New Yorkers, I must say, that you all demonstrated truly fine character during a horrendous time in your history, I had to get that out there. You're all great Americans, and you're tough as hell.

I'm so thankful for this episode, as Father Chris provided us with a beautiful portrait of Father Mychal's life. I'm not religious but I absolutely understand the importance of religion as part of humanity. From the stories I've heard, they provided so much comfort to people that day. It's beautiful that they could do that in such an awful, terrifying situation. I will never forget the footage of Mychal Judge in the WTC lobby, pacing and praying for everyone, with sorrow written on his face & the sadness felt when I saw that iconic image of him. He's a reminder of the good in this world, when sometimes it can be so hard to see. Love and peace to all.

I recently watched a survivor who spoke about coming through just before the collapse and found Father judge's helmet said he instinctively picked it up thinking somone will be missing this and brought it to some higher ranking firefighter. who was not as impressed as the man had expected not knowing that he had been killed.

Truly gut-wrenching! Lord, please bless these families and this blessed man who carries such a tremendous burden. The pain is still there at 20 years.

You sort of get a sense of understanding of why he seemed so sad and focused that day, doesn’t it?? When I watched the documentary (before watching this) I simply though it was human fear. I was wrong.

God bless you all over and over Father, thank you for the work you do for all of these men and women. They need protection all the time, so that they may provide protection for others. You are quite a man. I'm sorry you lost you dear friend, Father Judge. He's well protected now.

It's crazy i know but, I was today years old when I found out that this wasn't the first time the towers were attacked! So heart breaking but at the same time, so much beauty only by the way that people were working together and differences were forgotten about and the only thing that mattered was the preservation of life!

My family and I had reservations to be at the restaurant Windows on the World on the 106th floor of the North Tower hours after the first time it was bombed in 1993. I was 13 years old. It was very scary

Sorry to be that guy.. but Father Judge was not the "first person to die at the World Trade Centre" that day; not even close. He was just issued a special disaster death certificate numbered 0001. Apart from every person on the first plane, every person on the second plane, as well as HUNDREDS of people inside BOTH the buildings, and numerous people who chose to jump, the first firefighter to die was Danny Suhr who was struck by a person who had jumped from the tower above. Father Judge died near the outer part of the lobby of the north tower as the south tower collapsed nearly an hour and half after it ll began. Which of course meant that hundreds more had just died moments before as their tower came down. They were also people who were struck with aircraft parts and building debris from the North Tower who were definitely deceased and their body was put in an ambulance or the back of the cab immediately and taken to an official point at that time. Not that it really matters what order people died, but still I've never understood where this falsehood that 'father judge was the first person to die' came from, apart from the fact that the death certificate reads 001. Anyone can see that that simply isn't true

Maybe that's what he meant, among the responders who died, he was the first one.

Afghanistan had nothing to do with 911 ! It was all about money ! 911 took away our freedoms! Patriot Act ! Cameras on Every Corner! The Attackers came from within this Country! We are all fools ! Trump negotiated the withdraw and I hate both parties !
